⁴ if you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures,

³ Therefore now, O Jehovah, I beseech you, take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live.

⁸ And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a sultry east wind and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted and requested for himself that he might die and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

⁶ And men will seek death in those days and they will never be finding it, and they will desire to die and death will be fleeing from them.
