¹ For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace and all the proud and all who work wickedness, will be stubble. And the day that comes will burn them up, says Jehovah of hosts, that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
² But to you* who fear my name the sun of righteousness will arise with healing in its wings and you* will go forth and frolic as calves of the stall. ³ And you* will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your* feet in the day that I make, says Jehovah of hosts.
⁴ You* remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
⁵ Behold, I will send you* Elijah the prophet before the great and fearful day of Jehovah comes. ⁶ And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and kill* the earth with a curse.

⁷ And in the greatness of your excellency you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send forth your wrath, it consumes them as stubble.

¹⁶ His roots will be dried up beneath and above his limbs be will cut off.

⁹ You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath and the fire will devour them. ¹⁰ You will destroy their fruit from the earth and their seed from among the sons of men.

¹¹⁹ You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love your testimonies.

¹² For there will be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty and upon all that is lifted up and it will be brought low, ¹³ and upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up and upon all the oaks of Bashan, ¹⁴ and upon all the high mountains and upon all the hills that are lifted up, ¹⁵ and upon every lofty tower and upon every fortified wall, ¹⁶ and upon all the ships of Tarshish and upon all desirable imagery.
¹⁷ And the loftiness of man will be bowed down and the haughtiness of men will be brought low and Jehovah alone will be exalted in that day.

²⁴ Therefore as the tongue of fire devours the stubble and as the dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will be as rottenness and their blossom will go up as dust, because they have rejected the law of Jehovah of hosts and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

²⁴ Yes, they have not been planted. Yes, they have not been sown. Yes, their stock has not taken root in the earth. Moreover he blows upon them and they wither and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.

² Who raised up the righteous man from the east, calls him to his foot, gives nations before him and makes him rule over kings? He gives them as the dust to his sword, as the driven stubble to his bow.

¹⁴ Behold, they will be as stubble. The fire will burn them. They will not deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It will not be a coal to warm at, nor a fire to sit before.

¹⁰ Behold, the day, behold, it comes. Your doom has gone forth. The rod has blossomed; pride has budded.

¹ You* blow the trumpet in Zion and shout an alarm in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of Jehovah comes, for it is near at hand,

³¹ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of Jehovah comes.

⁹ Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars and he was strong as the oaks, yet I destroyed his fruit from above and his roots from beneath.

¹⁸ And the house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame and the house of Esau for stubble. And they will burn among them and devour them and there will not be any remaining to the house of Esau, for Jehovah has spoken it.

⁵ The mountains quake at him and the hills melt and the earth is upheaved at his presence. Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.
⁶ Who can stand before his indignation? And who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire and the rocks are broken apart by him.

¹⁰ For entangled like thorns and drunken as with their drink, they are consumed utterly as dry stubble.

¹⁴ The great day of Jehovah is near. It is near and hastens greatly, the voice of the day of Jehovah. The mighty man cries there bitterly.

¹⁸ Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy. For he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.

¹ Behold, a day of Jehovah comes when your spoil will be divided in the midst of you.

² But who can abide the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like launder's soap.

¹⁵ And now we call the proud fortunate. Yes, those who work wickedness are built up. Yes, they challenge God and escape.

¹⁸ Then you* will return and discern between the righteous man and the wicked man, between he who serves God and he who does not serve him.

⁵ Behold, I will send you* Elijah the prophet before the great and fearful day of Jehovah comes.

¹² whose winnowing fan is in his hand, and he will be thoroughly cleansing his threshing floor, and he will be gathering his grain into the barn, but the chaff he will be burning up with unquenchable fire.

⁴³ Because the days will be coming upon you, and your enemies will put a military-barrier around you and will surround you, and will crowd you on every-side,

²⁰ But whenever you behold Jerusalem surrounded by encamped armies, then know that her desolation has drawn near.

⁸ giving vengeance in a fire of flame to those who do not know God and to those who are not obeying the good-news of our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁷ But the current heavens and the earth have been stored up for fire by the same word, being kept to the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

¹² Jehovah recompense your work and a full reward be given you of Jehovah, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.

⁴ he will be as the light of the morning, when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, when the tender grass springs out of the earth, through clear shining after rain.

¹ God be merciful to us and bless us and cause his face to shine upon us (Selah),

¹¹ Because Jehovah God is a sun and a shield. Jehovah will give favor and glory. He will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.

⁹ Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

¹² A righteous man will flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. ¹³ Men who are planted in the house of Jehovah will flourish in the courts of our God.
¹⁴ They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green

³ who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,

³ He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

¹⁸ But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.

² The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the light has shone.

²⁶ Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that Jehovah binds up the hurt of his people and heals the stroke of their wound.

⁶ Then the lame man will leap as a male-deer and the tongue of the mute will sing. For waters in the wilderness will break out and streams in the desert.

⁶ yes, he says, It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.

⁹ saying to those who are bound, Go forth; to those who are in darkness, Show yourselves. They will feed in the ways and their pasture will be on all bare heights.
¹⁰ They will not hunger nor thirst, neither will the heat nor sun kill* them. For he who has mercy on them will lead them. He will guide them even by springs of water.

¹⁰ Who is among you* that fears Jehovah, who obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rely upon his God.

⁵ But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed.

¹² For you* will go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break forth before you* into singing and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands. ¹³ Instead of the thorn will come up the fir tree and instead of the brier will come up the myrtle tree. And it will be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.

¹⁸ I have seen his ways and will heal him. I will lead him also and restore comforts to him and to his mourners. ¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near, says Jehovah and I will heal him.

¹ Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of Jehovah has risen upon you. ² For, behold, darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah will arise upon you and his glory will be seen upon you. ³ And nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising.

¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give light to you, but Jehovah will be to you an everlasting light and your God your glory. ²⁰ Your sun will no more go down, nor will your moon withdraw itself, for Jehovah will be your everlasting light. And the days of your mourning will be ended.

¹ Jehovah says thus, Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool. What manner of house will you* build to me and what place will be my rest? ² For all these things my hand has made and all these things came to be, says Jehovah.
But to this man I will look, even to him who is poor and of a crushed spirit and who trembles at my word.

¹⁴ Heal me, O Jehovah and I will be healed. Save me and I will be saved, for you are my praise.

⁹ They will come with weeping. And I will lead them with supplications. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they will not stumble. For I am a father to Israel and Ephraim is my firstborn.
¹⁰ Hear the word of Jehovah, O you* nations and declare it in the isles afar off and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.
¹¹ For Jehovah has ransomed Jacob and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he. ¹² And they will come and sing in the height of Zion and will flow to the goodness of Jehovah, to the grain and to the new wine and to the oil and to the young of the flock and of the herd. And their soul will be as a watered garden and they will not sorrow any more at all.
¹³ Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance and the young men and the old together, for I will turn their mourning into joy and will comfort them and make them rejoice from their sorrow. ¹⁴ And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness and my people will be satisfied with my goodness, says Jehovah.

⁶ Behold, I will bring it health and cure and I will cure them. And I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.

¹² And every tree will grow for food by the river upon the bank of it, on this side and on that side, whose leaf will not wither, nor will the fruit of it fail. It will bring forth new fruit every month, because the waters of it goes forth out of the sanctuary. And the fruit of it will be for food and the leaf of it for healing.

¹ Come and let us return to Jehovah, for he has torn and he will heal us. He has struck and he will bind us up.

³ And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah. His going forth is sure as the morning and he will come to us as the rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.

⁴ I will heal their backsliding. I will love them freely. For my anger is turned away from him. ⁵ I will be as the dew to Israel. He will blossom as the lily and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. ⁶ His offshoots will spread and his beauty will be as the olive tree and his smell as Lebanon.
⁷ Those who dwell under his shadow will return. They will revive as the grain and blossom as the vine. The scent of it will be as the wine of Lebanon.

¹⁶ Then those who feared Jehovah spoke one with another and Jehovah listened and heard and a book of remembrance was written before him, for those who feared Jehovah and who thought upon his name.

¹⁵ ‘The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond-that of the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, ¹⁶ the people who sit in darkness saw a great light and to those who sit in the region and shadow of death, light has risen for them.’

⁵ the blind recover their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor have the good-news proclaimed to them.

³⁷ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How-often I willed to have gathered together your children in the manner a bird gathers together her brood under her wings, and you did not will it!

⁵⁰ and his mercy is toward generations of generations to those who fear him.

⁷⁸ through the heart of mercy of our God, in which the rising of light from on high has visited us,

³² He is a light for revelation of the Gentiles and the glory of your people Israel.

⁴ In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

⁸ He was not the light, but came in order that he might testify concerning the light.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and resided among us (and we saw his glory, glory like that of the only begotten from the Father), full of favor and truth.

¹² Therefore, again Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. He who is following me may never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.

⁴ It is essential for me to work the works of the one who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one is able to work.

³⁵ Therefore Jesus said to them, The light is still with you for a little time. Walk while you have the light, in order that darkness might not overtake you and he who is walking in the darkness does not know where he is going. ³⁶ While you have the light, believe in the light, in order that you might become sons of light.
Jesus spoke these things and he went away and hid himself from them.

⁴⁰ ‘He has blinded their eyes and he has hardened their heart; in order that they should not see with their eyes and should perceive with their heart and should turn and that I might heal them.’

² Every branch which is not bringing forth fruit in me, he takes it away and every branch which is bringing forth fruit, he prunes it, in order that it may bring forth more fruit. ³ Already you are clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. ⁴ Abide in me and I in you. Just-as the branch is not able to bring forth fruit from itself, if it does not abide in the vine; so neither can you if you do not abide in me. ⁵ I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him, this one is bringing forth much fruit, because you are not able to do anything separate from me.

²⁶ Brethren, sons from the race of Abraham and those who fear God among you, the word of this salvation was sent forth to you.

⁴⁷ For so the Lord has commanded to us, saying, ‘I have placed you for a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the outermost parts of the earth.’

¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of the Adversary to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among those who have been made holy in faith, the faith in me.

⁸ For you were previously in darkness, but now you^\'b0 are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light ⁹ (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth), ¹⁰ testing what is well pleasing to the Lord. ¹¹ And have no fellowship together with the unfruitful works of darkness, but also rather reprove them; ¹² for it is shameful even to speak of the things happening by them covertly. ¹³ But being reproved, all things are manifested by the light; for everything which is manifested is light. ¹⁴ Hence he says, Arise, you who are sleeping and rise up from the dead and the Christ will appear upon you.

³ Brethren, we always ought to thank God concerning you, just-as it is worthy, because your faith is growing substantially, and the love of each one of you all toward one another is increasing;

¹⁹ And we have the steadfast prophetic word, (as to a lamp appearing in a dreary place, until the day should dawn and the morning-star might rise), to which you are doing well, and taking-heed in your hearts.

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory is to him, both now and toward the final day of this world. Amen.

⁸ Again, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already appearing.

²⁸ and I will be giving to him the morning star.

¹⁸ And the nations were angry and your wrath came and the time of the dead to be judged and the time to give the reward to your bondservants, the prophets, and to the holy-ones, and to those who fear your name, to the little and to the great, and to have decay for those who are corrupting the earth.

² in the middle of its street. And the Tree of Life was on this side and on that side of the river, producing twelve fruits, giving its fruit every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my messenger to testify to you these things in the congregations. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise your head and you will bruise his heel.

²⁴ And it happened, when they brought out those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel and said to the chiefs of the men of war who went with him, Come near, put your* feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near and put their feet upon the necks of them.
²⁵ And Joshua said to them, Do not fear, nor be dismayed. Be strong and of good courage, for thus will Jehovah do to all your* enemies against whom you* fight.

⁴³ Then I beat them small as the dust of the earth. I crushed them as the mud of the streets and spread them abroad.

¹² Look on everyone who is proud, and bring him low and tread down the wicked where they stand.

¹³ You will tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

¹⁰ For the hand of Jehovah will rest on this mountain.
And Moab will be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.

⁶ The foot will tread it down, even the feet of the poor and the steps of the needy.

³ I have trodden the winepress alone and of the peoples there was no man with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments and I have stained all my garments. ⁴ For the day of vengeance was in my heart and the year of my redeemed has come.
⁵ And I looked and there was none to help. And I wondered that there was none to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. And my wrath, it upheld me. ⁶ And I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.

¹⁸ By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your commerce, you have profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought out a fire from the midst of you. It has devoured you and I have turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all those who behold you.

¹⁸ But the holy ones of the Most High will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and forever.

²⁷ And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, will be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and all dominions will serve and obey him.

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces and there is none to deliver.

¹⁰ Then my enemy will see it and shame will cover her who said to me, Where is Jehovah your God? My eyes will see my desire upon her. Now she will be trodden down as the mud of the streets.

⁵ And they will be as mighty men, treading down their enemies in the mud of the streets in the battle. And they will fight, because Jehovah is with them and the riders on horses will be confounded.

¹⁷ And they will be mine, says Jehovah of hosts, my own possession, in the day that I make. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

²⁰ Now the God of peace will crush the Adversary under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is among you.

¹⁵ And the seventh messenger sounded, and there became loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he will be reigning forevermore.

²⁰ And the winepress was trampled on outside the city and there came out blood from the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, up to one thousand six hundred furlongs.

³ You will have no other gods before me.
⁴ You will not make to you a graven image, nor any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. ⁵ You will not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them, because I, Jehovah your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
⁷ You will not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain, because Jehovah will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
⁸ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. ⁹ Six days you will labor and do all your work, ¹⁰ but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Jehovah your God. You will not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your man-servant, nor your maid-servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates, ¹¹ for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. ¹² Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Jehovah your God gives you.
¹³ You will not murder.
¹⁴ You will not commit adultery.
¹⁵ You will not steal.
¹⁶ You will not bear false witness against your neighbor.
¹⁷ You will not desire your neighbor's house. You will not desire your neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.
¹⁸ And all the people perceived the thunderings and the lightnings and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking. And when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.
¹⁹ And they said to Moses, Speak with us and we will hear, but do not let God speak with us, lest we die. ²⁰ And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, because God has come to prove you* and that his fear may be before you*, that you* not sin. ²¹ And the people stood afar off and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.

¹ Now these are the ordinances which you will set before them.
² If you buy a Hebrew servant, six years he will serve and in the seventh he will go out free for nothing. ³ If he comes in by himself, he will go out by himself. If he is married, then his wife will go out with him. ⁴ If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her sons will be her master's and he will go out by himself. ⁵ But if the servant will plainly say, I love my master, my wife and my sons, I will not go out free, ⁶ then his master will bring him to God and will bring him to the door, or to the door-post and his master will bore his ear through with an awl and he will serve him everlasting.
⁷ And if a man sells his daughter to be a maid-servant, she will not go out as the men-servants do. ⁸ If she does not please her master, who has espoused her to himself, then he will let her be redeemed. He will have no power to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her. ⁹ And if he espouses her to his son, he will deal with her according to the manner of daughters. ¹⁰ If he takes him another wife, her food, her garments and her duty of marriage, he will not diminish. ¹¹ And if he does not do these three things to her, then she will go out for nothing, without money.
¹² He who slays a man, so that he dies, will surely be put to death.
¹³ And if a man does not lie in wait, but God delivers him into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place where he will flee.
¹⁴ And if a man comes presumptuously upon his neighbor, to kill him with guile, you will take him from my altar, that he may die.
¹⁵ And he who slays his father or his mother, will surely be put to death.
¹⁶ And he who steals a man and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, he will surely be put to death.
¹⁷ And he who curses his father or his mother, will surely be put to death.
¹⁸ And if men contend and one slays the other with a stone, or with his fist and he does not die, but keeps his bed, ¹⁹ if he rises again and walks abroad upon his staff, then he who killed* him will be acquitted. Only he will pay for the loss of his time and will cause him to be thoroughly healed.
²⁰ And if a man slays his servant, or his maid, with a rod and he dies under his hand, he will surely be punished. ²¹ Notwithstanding, if he continues a day or two, he will not be punished, because he is his money.
²² And if men strive together and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart and yet no harm follow, he will be surely fined, just-as the woman's husband will lay upon him and he will pay as the judges determine. ²³ But if any harm follows, then you will give life for life,

¹ And Jehovah called to Moses and spoke to him out of the tent of meeting, saying, ² Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When any man of you* offers an oblation to Jehovah, you* will offer your* oblation of the cattle, even of the herd and of the flock.
³ If his oblation be a burnt offering of the herd, he will offer it a male without blemish. He will offer it at the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before Jehovah. ⁴ And he will lay his hand upon the head of the burnt offering and it will be accepted for him to make atonement for him. ⁵ And he will kill the bullock before Jehovah and Aaron's sons, the priests, will present the blood and sprinkle the blood all around upon the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting. ⁶ And he will skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. ⁷ And the sons of Aaron the priest will put fire upon the altar and lay wood in order upon the fire.

⁵ Behold, I have taught you* statutes and ordinances, even as Jehovah my God commanded me, that you* should do so in the midst of the land where you* go in to possess it. ⁶ Keep therefore and do them, for this is your* wisdom and your* understanding in the sight of the peoples, who will hear all these statutes and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

¹⁰ the day that you stood before Jehovah your God in Horeb, when Jehovah said to me, Assemble the people to me and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth and that they may teach their sons.

¹⁹ He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. ²⁰ He has not dealt so with any nation. And as for his ordinances, they have not known them.
Praise Jehovah.

²⁰ Seek to the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

²¹ It pleased Jehovah, for his righteousness' sake, to magnify the law and make it honorable.

¹⁷ Do not suppose that I came to tear-down the law or the prophets; I did not come to tear-down, but to fulfill. ¹⁸ For assuredly I am saying to you, Until heaven and earth should pass away, one iota or one serif may never pass away from the law, until all things should become fulfilled.
¹⁹ Therefore, whoever loosens one of these least commandments and may teach men to do so, will be called least in the kingdom of the heavens, but whoever practices and should teach them, he will be called great in the kingdom of the heavens. ²⁰ For I am saying to you, that if your righteousness is not abounding more-than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you may never enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

¹⁶ And behold, one man came to him and said to him, Good teacher, what good thing should I practice in order that I may have everlasting life?
¹⁷ Now he said to him, Why do you call me good? No one is good except one–God, but if you wish to enter into everlasting life, keep the commandments.
¹⁸ He says to him, What ones?
Now Jesus said, Do not murder; Do not commit adultery; Do not steal; Do not falsely testify, ¹⁹ Honor your father and mother.
²⁰ The young-man says to him, I have observed all these things from my youth. So what am I still lacking?
²¹ Jesus said to him, If you are willing to be complete, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven and come-here. Follow me. ²² But when the young-man heard the word, he went away and was sorrowing; for he had many properties.

³⁶ Teacher, what is the great commandment in the law?
³⁷ Now Jesus said to him, You will love the Lord your God in your whole heart and in your whole soul and in your whole mind. ³⁸ This is the first and the great commandment. ³⁹ And the second commandment is similar to it, You will love your neighbor like yourself. ⁴⁰ In these two commandments hangs the whole law and the prophets.

²⁸ And one of the scribes came and heard them debating together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, What commandment is the first of all?
²⁹ But Jesus answered, The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one'; ³⁰ and ‘You will love the Lord your God from all your heart and from your whole soul and from your whole mind and from your whole strength.’This is the first commandment. ³¹ And the second is similar, ‘You will love your neighbor like yourself.’There is no other commandment greater than these.
³² And the scribe said to him, In truth, Teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is no other except him; ³³ and to love him from the whole heart and from the whole intelligence and from the whole soul and from the whole strength and to love his neighbor like himself, is more-than all the whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.
³⁴ And when Jesus saw that he answered with perception, he said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no one was daring enough to ask him anymore.

²⁵ And behold, a certain professor of the law stood up, testing him and saying, Teacher, by having done what, will I be inheriting everlasting life?
²⁶ But he said to him, What has been written in the law? How do you read it?
²⁷ But he answered and said, ‘You will love the Lord your God from your whole heart and from your whole soul and from your whole strength and from your whole mind, and your neighbor like yourself.’
²⁸ But he said to him, You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.

²⁹ But Abraham says to him, They have Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them.
³⁰ But he said, No, father Abraham, but if someone travels to them from the dead, they will be repenting.
³¹ But he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if someone rises up from the dead.

³⁹ You are searching the Scriptures because you think that in them you have everlasting life, and these are those which are testifying concerning me; ⁴⁰ and you are not willing to come to me, in order that you may have life.
⁴¹ I am not receiving glory from men. ⁴² But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. ⁴³ I have come in the name of my Father, and you are not receiving me. If another comes in his own name, you will be receiving that man. ⁴⁴ How are you able to believe, receiving glory from one another, and yet you are not seeking the glory that comes from the God alone? ⁴⁵ Do not think that I will be accusing you to the Father. There is one who is accusing you, Moses, in whom you have hoped. ⁴⁶ For if you believed in Moses, you would believe in me; for that man wrote concerning me. ⁴⁷ But if you do not believe the Scriptures of that man, how will you believe my declarations?

³¹ Therefore, do we do-away-with the law through the faith? Let it not happen! But through the faith, we are establishing the law.

¹ Let every soul be subject to the authorities which are superior to him; for there is no authority if not by God, and the authorities which are, have been appointed by God. ² So-then, the one who is resisting the authority is standing against the commandment of God, and those who are standing against it will be receiving judgment for themselves. ³ For rulers are not a fear to those of the good works, but to those of the evil works. And you do not wish to be afraid of the authority, do you? Do what is the good thing and you will have praise from it; ⁴ for he is a servant of God to you for what is the good thing. But if you practice what is the evil thing, be afraid; for he is not wearing the sword vainly; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to the one who is practicing the evil thing. ⁵ Hence, it is a necessity to be subject yourself to him, not only because of the wrath, but also because of the conscience. ⁶ For you are also paying taxes because of this; for they are ministers of God, persevering toward this same thing. ⁷ Therefore give to all, their dues: tribute to whom tribute; tax to whom tax; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
⁸ Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for he who loves the other has fulfilled the law. ⁹ For the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery; Do not murder; Do not steal; Do not covet, and if there is some other commandment in this word, it is summed up in the commandment : ‘You will love your neighbor like yourself.’ ¹⁰ Love works no evil to ward his neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.

¹³ For brethren, you were called to freedom; only do not use your freedom for a starting-point for the flesh, but serve^*\'b0 one another through love. ¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in one word, in this: ‘You will love your neighbor like yourself.’

²⁴ But those who are of the Christ have crucified the flesh together with its passions and lusts.
²⁵ If we are living in the Spirit, we should also march in the Spirit.

⁹ But if you have shown-favoritism, you are working sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.
¹⁰ For who ever will be keeping the whole law and yet will trip in one point, he has become liable to all of it. ¹¹ For he who said, 'Do not commit adultery,' also said, 'Do not murder.' But if you will not commit adultery, but yet you will commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. ¹² Speak so and practice so, as one who is about to be judged by the law of freedom. ¹³ For the judgment is merciless to the one who has not practiced mercy; mercy wins over judgment.

³ The voice of a man crying out in the wilderness, Prepare the way of Jehovah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

¹ Behold, I send my messenger and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom you* seek, will suddenly come to his temple. And the messenger of the covenant, whom you* desire, behold, he comes, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹ For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace and all the proud and all who work wickedness, will be stubble. And the day that comes will burn them up, says Jehovah of hosts, that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

¹³ For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. ¹⁴ And if you are willing to accept it, he himself is Elijah, who is the one about to come.

¹⁰ And his disciples asked him, saying, Therefore why do the scribes say that it is essential for Elijah to come first?
¹¹ Now Jesus answered and said to them, Indeed Elijah comes first and will be restoring all things. ¹² But I am saying to you, that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did as many things as they wished to him. So the Son of Man is also about to suffer by them. ¹³ Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them concerning John the Immerser.

⁴⁷ But some of them standing there, when they heard it, were saying, This one is summoning Elijah. ⁴⁸ And immediately one out of them ran, taking a sponge and filled it with vinegar and placed it around a reed and was giving it to him to drink.
⁴⁹ But the rest were saying, Allow it, that we may see if Elijah comes; he will save him.

¹¹ And they asked him, saying, How is it that the scribes say that it is essential for Elijah to come first?
¹² But he answered and said to them, Elijah indeed comes first and restores all things, and how it has been written of the Son of Man, in order that he should suffer many things and should be scorned? ¹³ But I am saying to you, that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him as many things as they willed, just-as it has been written of him.

¹⁷ And he will be going beforehand, in his sight, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to return the hearts of the fathers back on their children, and the disobedient to return in the prudence of the righteous; to make-ready a prepared people for the Lord.

²⁶ But what have you come out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, And more-than a prophet. ²⁷ This is he concerning whom it has been written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will be preparing your way before you. ²⁸ For I say to you, Among those born of women there is no prophet greater than John the Immerser; yet he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

³⁰ And behold, two men were speaking together with him, who were Moses and Elijah;

²¹ And they asked him, Therefore, what? Are you Elijah?
And he says, I am not.
Are you the prophet?
And he answered, No.

²⁵ And they asked him, and said to him, Therefore why do you immerse, if you are not the Christ, neither Elijah, nor the prophet?

¹⁹ And I will be giving you wonders in the heaven above and signs upon the earth below; blood and fire and vapor of smoke. ²⁰ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and illustrious day of the Lord comes.

¹⁷ for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

¹⁹ and it happens, when he hears the words of this curse, that he graces himself in his heart, saying, I will have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to destroy the moist with the dry.
²⁰ Jehovah will not pardon him, but then the anger of Jehovah and his jealousy will smoke against that man and all the curse that is written in this book will lie upon him and Jehovah will blot out his name from under heaven. ²¹ And Jehovah will set him apart to evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that is written in this book of the law.
²² And the generation to come, your* sons who will rise up after you* and the foreigner who will come from a far land, will say, when they see the calamities of that land and the sicknesses with which Jehovah has made it sick. ²³ The whole land of it is brimstone and salt, a burning. It is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows in it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which Jehovah overthrew in his anger and in his wrath, ²⁴ even all the nations will say, Why has Jehovah done thus to this land? What is the meaning of the heat of this great anger?
²⁵ Then men will say, Because they forsook the covenant of Jehovah, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, ²⁶ and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they did not know and that he had not given to them. ²⁷ Therefore the anger of Jehovah was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curse that is written in this book. ²⁸ And Jehovah rooted them out of their land in anger and in wrath and in great indignation and cast them into another land, as at this day.
²⁹ The secret things belong to Jehovah our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our sons until everlasting, that we may do all the words of this law.

⁴ but with righteousness he will judge the poor and decide with equity for the meek of the earth.
And he will kill* the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

⁶ Therefore the curse has devoured the earth and those who dwell in it are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men left.

²⁸ Therefore I will profane the rulers of the sanctuary and I will make Jacob a curse and Israel a reviling.

² to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

¹⁵ And you* will leave your* name for a curse to my chosen and the lord Jehovah will kill you.
And he will call his servants by another name,

¹¹ Yes, all Israel have transgressed your law, even turning aside, that they should not obey your voice. Therefore the curse has been poured out upon us and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God. For we have sinned against him.

²⁶ And after the sixty-two weeks the anointed one will be cut off and will have nothing. And the people of the prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary and the end of it will be with a flood. And even to the end will be war; desolations are determined. ²⁷ And he will make a firm covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And upon the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate. And even to the full end and that determined, wrath will be poured out upon the desolate.

³ Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole land. For everyone who steals will be cut off on the one side according to it and everyone who swears will be cut off on the other side according to it.

⁶ For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says Jehovah. But behold, I will deliver the men each one into his neighbor's hand and into the hand of his king. And they will kill* the land and I will not deliver them out of their hand.

⁸ And it will happen, that in all the land, says Jehovah, two parts in it will be cut off and die, but the third will be left in it.

² For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. And the city will be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravished and half of the city will go forth into captivity. And the residue of the people will not be cut off from the city.

¹² And this will be the plague with which Jehovah will kill* all the peoples who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will consume away while they stand upon their feet and their eyes will consume away in their sockets and their tongue will consume away in their mouth.

⁷ And that king, having heard it, was angry, and he having sent his armies, destroyed those murderers and incinerated their city.

³⁵ so that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. ³⁶ Assuredly I am saying to you, All these things will be coming upon this generation.
³⁷ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How-often I willed to have gathered together your children in the manner a bird gathers together her brood under her wings, and you did not will it! ³⁸ Behold, your house is left to you desolate;

²⁷ For just-like the lightning comes from the east and appears even to the west; so also will be the presence of the Son of Man.
²⁸ For wherever the corpse is, the vultures will be gathered together there.

{Mat 24:27, 24:29-31 & Mar 13:24-37 & Luk 21:25-28 & 2Th 1:7-9 & 1Co 15:51-15:58 & Rev 1:7 Second Coming.} ²⁹ But immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not be giving her radiance, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; ³⁰ and then the sign of the Son of Man will be appearing in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will be grieving, and they will be seeing the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and with much glory.

²¹ And Peter, having remembered, says to him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which you cursed, it has been dried up.

¹⁴ But whenever you behold the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing where it ought not to be (let the one who is reading perceive), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; ¹⁵ and let the one who is upon the housetop not go down into the house, nor let him enter in to take anything out of his house; ¹⁶ and let the one who is in the field not turn to the things behind him, that is, to take his garment. ¹⁷ But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing in those days! ¹⁸ Now pray in order that your flight might not happen in the winter. ¹⁹ For in those days will be affliction, such-as there has not happened from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and may never be happen again. ²⁰ And except that the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved, but because of the chosen, whom he chose, he shortened the days. ²¹ And then if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, Behold, there; do not believe it; ²² for there will arise false Christs and false prophets and will be giving signs and wonders to this end, if possible, that they may mislead even the chosen. ²³ But you, beware. Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.

²⁴ But in those days, after that affliction, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not be giving her radiance, ²⁵ and the stars will be falling from the heaven and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. ²⁶ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in the clouds with much power and glory.

¹⁶ And he will be turning many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God. ¹⁷ And he will be going beforehand, in his sight, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to return the hearts of the fathers back on their children, and the disobedient to return in the prudence of the righteous; to make-ready a prepared people for the Lord.

⁷⁶ And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; for ‘you will be traveling before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways.’

⁴¹ And as he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it, ⁴² saying, If you had known in this day, even you, for-sure, the things which are for your peace! But now they were hidden from your eyes. ⁴³ Because the days will be coming upon you, and your enemies will put a military-barrier around you and will surround you, and will crowd you on every-side, ⁴⁴ and will be leveling you to the bedrock, and your children among you, and they will not be leaving in you one stone upon another stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation.

²² Because these are days of vengeance, that all things which have been written may be fulfilled. ²³ But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing in those days! For a great calamity will be upon the land, and wrath among this people. ²⁴ And they will be falling by the edge of the sword and will be captured into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles should be fulfilled.


²⁵ And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and dismay of nations upon the earth, in perplexity from the noisy sea and the noisy billows; ²⁶ men passing-out from fear and expectation of the things which are coming upon the inhabited-earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ²⁷ And then they will be seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and much glory.

⁸ But when it is bringing forth thorns and thistles, it is unapproved and near to a curse; whose end is for burning.

²⁶ For when we sin willfully after the receiving of the full knowledge of the truth, then a sacrifice is left no more for us concerning sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful expectancy of judgment and a zeal of fire which is about to eat the adversaries. ²⁸ Anyone who has rejected the Law of Moses, dies without mercy upon the word of two or three witnesses. ²⁹ How much worse punishment, do you think he will be deemed worthy of, after having trampled under foot the Son of God, and having deemed the blood of the covenant in which he was made holy as common, and having insulted the Spirit of the grace? ³⁰ For we know the one who said, ‘Vengeance is for me. I will be repaying says the Lord.’And again, ‘ The Lord will judge his people.’ ³¹ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

¹⁵ And a sharp two edged long-sword travels out from his mouth, in order that he might strike the nations with it and he will shepherd them with an iron rod and he tramples on the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

³ And every curse will be not be there anymore and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it. And his bondservants will be giving-divine service to him;

²⁰ He who is testifying of these things says, Yes, I am coming shortly. Amen.
Yes come, Lord Jesus.
²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with all the holy-ones. Amen.
