¹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams. ² And Balak did as Balaam had spoken. And Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram. ³ And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your burnt offering and I will go. Perhaps Jehovah will come to meet me and whatever he shows me I will tell you. And he went to a bare height.
⁴ And God met Balaam and he said to him, I have prepared the seven altars and I have offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar. ⁵ And Jehovah put a word in Balaam's mouth and said, Return to Balak and thus you will speak. ⁶ And he returned to him. And behold, he was standing by his burnt offering, he and all the rulers of Moab.
⁷ And he took up his oracle and said, From Aram Balak has brought me, the King of Moab from the mountains of the East. Come, curse Jacob for me and come, defy Israel. ⁸ How shall I curse, whom God has not cursed? And how shall I defy, whom Jehovah has not defied? ⁹ For from the top of the rocks I see him and from the hills I behold him. Behold, it is a people that dwells alone and will not be reckoned among the nations. ¹⁰ Who can count the dust of Jacob, or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous and let my last end be like his!
¹¹ And Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them altogether. ¹² And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak what Jehovah puts in my mouth?
¹³ And Balak said to him, I beseech you, come with me to another place, from where you may see them. You will see but the outmost part of them and will not see them all and curse them for me from there. ¹⁴ And he took him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah and built seven altars and offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar. ¹⁵ And he said to Balak, Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet Jehovah yonder.
¹⁶ And Jehovah met Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, Return to Balak and thus will you speak. ¹⁷ And he came to him. And behold, he was standing by his burnt offering and the rulers of Moab with him. And Balak said to him, What has Jehovah spoken?
¹⁸ And he took up his oracle and said, Rise up, Balak and hear. Listen to me, you son of Zippor. ¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said and will he not do it? Or has he spoken and will he not make it good? ²⁰ Behold, I have received to bless. And he has blessed and I cannot reverse it. ²¹ He has not beheld wickedness in Jacob, neither has he seen perverseness in Israel. Jehovah his God is with him and the shout of a king is among them.
²² God brings them forth out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild-ox. ²³ Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob, neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it will be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God worked! ²⁴ Behold, the people rise up as a lioness and as a lion he lifts himself up. He will not lie down until he eats of the prey and drinks the blood of the slain.
²⁵ And Balak said to Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all. ²⁶ But Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, All that Jehovah speaks, that I must do?
²⁷ And Balak said to Balaam, Come now, I will take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there. ²⁸ And Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, that looks down upon the desert. ²⁹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build for me here seven altars and prepare for me here seven bullocks and seven rams. ³⁰ And Balak did as Balaam had said and offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar.

²⁴ An altar of earth you will make to me and will sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I record my name I will come to you and I will bless you.

¹ And you will make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad (the altar will be square) and the height of it will be three cubits. ² And you will make the horns of it upon the four corners of it. The horns of it will be of one piece with it and you will overlay it with brass. ³ And you will make its pots to take away its ashes and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its censors; all the vessels of it you will make of brass. ⁴ And you will make for it a grating of lattice-work of brass and upon the lattice-work you will make four brazen rings in the four corners of it. ⁵ And you will put it under the ledge round the altar beneath, that the lattice-work may reach halfway up the altar. ⁶ And you will make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood and overlay them with brass. ⁷ And the staves of it will be put into the rings and the staves will be upon the two sides of the altar, in bearing it. ⁸ You will make it hollow with planks. As it has been shown you on the mountain, so will they make it.

²⁹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build for me here seven altars and prepare for me here seven bullocks and seven rams.

³² And on the seventh day, seven bullocks, two rams, fourteen male-lambs a year old without blemish,

²² And Samuel said, Has Jehovah as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice and to listen than the fat of rams.

²² But if you* say to me, We trust in Jehovah our God, is that not he whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, You* will worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

²⁶ And it happened, when God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, that they sacrificed seven bullocks and seven rams.

²¹ And they brought seven bullocks and seven rams and seven lambs and seven male-goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of Jehovah.

⁸ Now therefore, take to you* seven bullocks and seven rams. And go to my servant Job and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering. And my servant Job will pray for you*, for him I will accept, that I not deal with you* after your* senselessness. For you* have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.

⁸ I will not reprove you for your sacrifices and your burnt offerings being continually before me. ⁹ I will take no bullock out of your house, nor male-goats out of your folds.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to Jehovah, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

¹¹ What to me is the multitude of your* sacrifices? says Jehovah. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts. And I do not delight in the blood of bullocks or of lambs or of male-goats. ¹² When you* come to appear before me, who has required this at your* hand–to trample my courts?
¹³ Bring no more vain oblations. Incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath, the calling of assemblies–I cannot bear wickedness and the solemn assembly. ¹⁴ Your* new moons and your* appointed feasts my soul hates. They are a trouble to me. I am weary of bearing them.
¹⁵ And when you* spread forth your* hands, I will hide my eyes from you*. Yes, when you* make many prayers, I will not hear; your* hands are full of blood.

³¹ And they come to you as the people come and they sit before you as my people. And they hear your words, but do not do them. For with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain.

²³ And the seven days of the feast he will prepare a burnt offering to Jehovah, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days and a male-goat daily for a sin offering.

¹³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are devouring widows’houses, and praying long prayers for a pretext, because of this, you will be receiving even-more condemnation.

¹¹ Woe to them! Because they traveled in the way of Cain and poured themselves into the error of Balaam’s reward and perished in the dispute of Korah.

¹⁴ And he took him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah and built seven altars and offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar.

³⁰ And Balak did as Balaam had said and offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar.

²⁰ And Noah built an altar to Jehovah and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

⁷ And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father.
And he said, Behold, here I am, my son.
And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? ⁸ And Abraham said, God himself will see to the lamb for a burnt offering, my son. So they went both of them together.

¹³ And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

¹² And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God. And Aaron came and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.

¹ And Jehovah called to Moses and spoke to him out of the tent of meeting, saying,

⁸ And he said to them, Lodge here this night and I will bring you* word again, as Jehovah will speak to me. And the rulers of Moab abode with Balaam.
⁹ And God came to Balaam and said, What men are these with you?

³¹ Then Jehovah opened the eyes of Balaam and he saw the messenger of Jehovah standing in the way, with his sword drawn in his hand. And he bowed his head and fell on his face.
³² And the messenger of Jehovah said to him, Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me. ³³ And the donkey saw me and turned aside before me these three times. Unless she had turned aside from me, surely now I would have even slain you and saved her alive.
³⁴ And Balaam said to the messenger of Jehovah, I have sinned, for I did not know that you stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displease you, I will get back again.
³⁵ And the messenger of Jehovah said to Balaam, Go with the men, but only the word that I will speak to you, that you will speak. So Balaam went with the rulers of Balak.

¹⁵ And he said to Balak, Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet Jehovah yonder.

¹ And when Balaam saw that it pleased Jehovah to bless Israel, he did not go, as at the other times, to meet with omens, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

⁹ And God came to Balaam and said, What men are these with you?

²⁰ And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, If the men come to call you, rise up, go with them, but only the word which I speak to you, that will you do.

¹⁶ And Jehovah met Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, Return to Balak and thus will you speak.

³ Why have we fasted, they say and you do not see? We have afflicted our soul and you take no knowledge. Behold, in the day of your* fast you* find pleasure and exact from all your* laborers. ⁴ Behold, you* fast for strife and contention and to kill* with the fist of wickedness. You* do not fast this day so as to make your* voice to be heard on high.

¹² saying, These last ones have only done one hour of work, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the burning heat.

¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe of all things, as many things as I procure.

² They will be expelling you from the synagogues. But the hour is coming, that everyone who kills you may think that he is offering divine service to God.

²⁷ Therefore where is the boasting? It was locked out. Through what law? Of works? No, but through the law of faith.

⁹ not from works, in order that not anyone should boast.

³⁵ And the messenger of Jehovah said to Balaam, Go with the men, but only the word that I will speak to you, that you will speak. So Balaam went with the rulers of Balak.

¹⁸ I will raise up a prophet for them from among their brothers, like you. And I will put my words in his mouth and he will speak to them all that I will command him.

¹ The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from Jehovah.

⁹ A man's heart devises his way, but Jehovah directs his steps.

¹⁶ And I have put my words in your mouth and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth and say to Zion, You are my people.

²¹ And as for me, this is my covenant with them, says Jehovah: My Spirit that is upon you and my words which I have put in your mouth, will not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says Jehovah, from now and until everlasting.

⁹ Then Jehovah put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

¹² for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you ought to say.

⁵¹ (Now he said this not from himself, but being high-priest of that year, he prophesied that Jesus was about to die on behalf of the nation;

Perhaps I will prevail, that we may kill* them and that I may drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed and he whom you curse is cursed.

¹¹ Behold, the people came out of Egypt, it covers the face of the earth. Now, come curse them for me. Perhaps I will be able to fight against them and will drive them out.

¹⁷ For I will promote you to very great honor and whatever you say to me I will do. Therefore, I beseech you, come curse this people for me.

¹⁸ And he took up his oracle and said, Rise up, Balak and hear. Listen to me, you son of Zippor.

²³ And he took up his oracle and said, Alas, who will live when God does this?

⁴ because they met you* not with bread and with water on the way, when you* came forth out of Egypt and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.

¹⁰ And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day. Give me a man, that we may fight together.

²⁵ And the men of Israel said, Have you* seen this man who has come up? Surely to defy Israel he has come up. And it will be, that the man who kills him, the king will enrich him with great riches and will give him his daughter and make his father's house free in Israel.
²⁶ And David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, What will be done to the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?

³⁶ Your servant killed* both the lion and the bear and this uncircumcised Philistine will be as one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.

⁴⁵ Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

²¹ And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimei, David's brother, killed him.

⁹ And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were there gathered together to battle and the men of Israel were gone away.

⁴ In that day they will take up a taunt against you* and lament with a lamenting lamentation. And say, We are utterly ruined. He changes the portion of my people. How he removes it from me! He divides our fields to the rebellious.

⁶ Shall not all these take up a parable against him and a taunting proverb against him and say, Woe to him who increases what is not his (how long?) and who loads himself with pledges!

³³ He spoke another parable to them: The kingdom of the heavens is similar to leaven, which a woman took and hid in three three-gallon containers of flour, until it was entirely leavened.

³⁵ that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, ‘I will open my mouth in parables. I will be uttering things which have been hidden from the conception of the world.’

¹² And they were seeking to take-hold of him, and yet they feared the crowd. They knew that he spoke the parable to them and they left him and went away.

¹² And God said to Balaam, You will not go with them. You will not curse the people, for they are blessed.

²⁰ Behold, I have received to bless. And he has blessed and I cannot reverse it.

²³ Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob, neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it will be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God worked!

²⁵ who frustrates the signs of the liars and makes diviners mad, who turns wise men backward and makes their knowledge foolish,

¹² Stand now with your enchantments and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth, perhaps you will be able to profit, perhaps you may prevail. ¹³ You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Let now the astrologers, the star-gazers, the knowers from the new moons, stand up and save you from the things that will come upon you.

⁵ Now therefore, if you* will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then you* will be my own possession from among all peoples, for all the earth is mine, ⁶ and you* will be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you will speak to the sons of Israel.

¹⁶ For how will it now be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth?

⁸ When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.

²⁸ And Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, in a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.

² For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the peoples of the lands. Yes, the hand of the heads and rulers has been chief in this trespass.

⁸ And Haman said to king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom and their laws are diverse from those of every people, nor do they keep the king's laws. Therefore it is not for the king's profit to endure them.

²⁸ Do not fear, O Jacob my servant, says Jehovah, for I am with you. For I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you, but I will not make a full end of you. But I will discipline you in measure and will in no way leave you unpunished.

⁹ For behold, I will command and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, just as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet the least kernel will not fall upon the earth.

⁸ But I am saying that Christ Jesus has become a servant of the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers, ⁹ and that the Gentiles are to glorify God on behalf of his mercy; as it has been written, ‘Because of this, I will profess you among the Gentiles and sing-praise to your name.’ ¹⁰ And again he says, ‘Gentiles be joyous with his people.’

¹⁷ Hence ‘Come out from the midst of them and be separate,’says the Lord, ‘And touch no unclean thing, and I will accept you\super\'b0

¹² that you were separate from Christ at the time, having been alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and were godless in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who were previously from afar have become near to him in the blood of the Christ. ¹⁴ For he is our peace, who made us both one and tore-down the middle wall of the fence,

¹⁴ who gave himself on our behalf, in order that he might redeem us away from all lawlessness and might cleanse a treasured people for himself, zealous of good works.

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s ownership, that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

¹⁶ And I will make your seed like the dust of the earth. So that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then may your seed also be numbered.

¹⁷ that in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is upon the sea _shore and your seed will possess the gate of his enemies

¹⁴ And your seed will be as the dust of the earth and you will spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south. And all the families of the earth will be blessed in you and in your seed.

⁹ All who were numbered of the camp of Judah were a hundred eighty-six thousand and four hundred, according to their armies. They will set forth first.

¹ The righteous man perishes and no man lays it to heart. And merciful men are taken away; none considering that the righteous man is taken away from the evil. ² He enters into peace. They rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.

²⁹ Now Master, dismiss your bondservant according to your word in peace, ³⁰ because my eyes have seen your salvation

²¹ So-then, let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, ²² whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things which are present, or future things. All things are yours,

⁵³ For it is essential this corruptible body to be clothed with incorruption and this mortal body to be clothed with immortality. ⁵⁴ But whenever this corruptible body has been clothed with incorruption and whenever this mortal has been clothed with immortality, then the word that has been written will become so, Death is swallowed up in victory. ⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; ⁵⁷ but gratitude to God, who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹ For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle should be torn-down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, everlasting in the heavens.

²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. ²² But if to live in the flesh–this is the fruit of work to me, and what will I select for myself? I do not know. ²³ But I am troubled from the two ends, having the desire, that I should vacate and be together with Christ, but it is much better rather

⁶ For I am already a drink-offering and the time of my departure stands-ready. ⁷ I have fought the good fight. I have completed the course. I have kept the faith. ⁸ Furthermore the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will be giving to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

¹³ But I am deeming it righteous, inasmuch as I am in this tabernacle, to arouse you with a reminder; ¹⁴ knowing that the removal of my tabernacle is coming quickly, just-as our Lord Jesus Christ indicated to me. ¹⁵ But I will also be diligent, each-time, to have you in remembrance of these things, to practice them after my exodus.

¹³ And I heard the voice from heaven saying to me, Write, the dead ones who die in the Lord are fortunate from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, in order that they should rest themselves from their labors, and their works follow after them.

⁷ And he took up his oracle and said, From Aram Balak has brought me, the King of Moab from the mountains of the East. Come, curse Jacob for me and come, defy Israel. ⁸ How shall I curse, whom God has not cursed? And how shall I defy, whom Jehovah has not defied?

¹⁰ And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam and he struck his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.

² because they did not meet the sons of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, to curse them. However our God turned the curse into a blessing.

¹⁷ Yes, he loved cursing and it came to him. And he did not delight in blessing and it was far from him.
¹⁸ He also clothed himself with cursing as with his garment and it came into his inward parts like water and like oil into his bones. ¹⁹ Let it be to him as the garments with which he covers himself and for the belt with which he is girded continually.
²⁰ This is the reward of my adversaries from Jehovah and of those who speak evil against my soul.

³⁸ And Balaam said to Balak, Behold, I have come to you. Have I now any power at all to speak anything? The word that God puts in my mouth, that shall I speak.

²⁶ But Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, All that Jehovah speaks, that I must do?

¹³ If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of Jehovah, to do either good or bad of my own mind. What Jehovah speaks, that I will speak?

²⁵ Because he speaks graciously, do not believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart.

¹⁸ For such are not serving our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and they are deceiving the hearts of the guiltless through their smooth-talk and blessings.

¹⁶ They profess to know God, but they are denying him by their works, being detestable and disobedient and unapproved toward every good work.

⁴¹ And it happened in the morning, that Balak took Balaam and brought him up into the high places of Baal and he saw from there the outmost part of the people.

⁹ Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and fought against Israel. And he sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you*,

²³ And the servants of the king of Syria said to him, Their god is a god of the hills, therefore they were stronger than we. But let us fight against them in the plain and surely we will be stronger than they.

²⁸ And a man of God came near and spoke to the King of Israel and said, Jehovah says thus, Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is a god of the hills, but he is not a god of the valleys, therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand and you* will know that I am Jehovah.

¹⁷ Yes, he loved cursing and it came to him. And he did not delight in blessing and it was far from him.

⁵ O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him. Remember from Shittim to Gilgal, that you* may know the righteous acts of Jehovah.

⁹ We are giving-thanks to God and the Father with it and we curse men with it, those who have become according to the likeness of God. ¹⁰ A thanks and a curse comes out of the same mouth. My brethren, these things do not need to become so!

²⁰ and from Bamoth to the valley which is in the field of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks down upon the desert.

¹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams. ² And Balak did as Balaam had spoken. And Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.

²⁷ You get up to the top of Pisgah and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward and behold with your eyes, for you will not go over this Jordan.

⁴⁹ and all the Arabah beyond the Jordan eastward, even to the sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.

¹ And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite Jericho. And Jehovah showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,

¹⁰ Hear the word of Jehovah, you* rulers of Sodom, listen to the law of our God, you* people of Gomorrah.
¹¹ What to me is the multitude of your* sacrifices? says Jehovah. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts. And I do not delight in the blood of bullocks or of lambs or of male-goats.

⁶ Such as lavish gold out of the bag and weigh silver in the balance, they hire a goldsmith and he makes it a god. They fall down, yes, they worship.

¹¹ Is Gilead wickedness? They are altogether false. In Gilgal they sacrifice bullocks. Yes, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

⁸ And he said to them, Lodge here this night and I will bring you* word again, as Jehovah will speak to me. And the rulers of Moab abode with Balaam.

³ And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your burnt offering and I will go. Perhaps Jehovah will come to meet me and whatever he shows me I will tell you. And he went to a bare height.

⁵ And Jehovah put a word in Balaam's mouth and said, Return to Balak and thus you will speak.

¹⁷ And he said, What is the thing that Jehovah has spoken to you? I beseech you, do not hide it from me. God do so to you and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that he spoke to you.

¹⁷ then Zedekiah the king sent and fetched him. And the king asked him secretly in his house and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. He also said, You will be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

²⁰ And Ehud came to him. And he was sitting by himself alone in the cool upper room. And Ehud said, I have a message from God to you. And he arose out of his seat.

²⁹ And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent, for he is not a man that he should repent.

¹⁷ And this was a small thing in your eyes, O God. But you have spoken of your servant's house for a great while to come and have regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O Jehovah God.

³⁵ I have sworn once by my holiness; I will not lie to David.

⁹ I will not execute the fierceness of my anger. I will not return to destroy Ephraim. For I am God and not man, the Holy One in the midst of you and I will not come in wrath.

²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob and the loving kindness to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of long-ago.

³ For the vision is yet for the appointed time and it breathes-out toward the end and will not lie. Though it abide, wait for it, because it will surely come. It will not delay.

⁶ For I, Jehovah, do not change. Therefore you*, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

³³ The heaven and the earth will pass away, but my words may never pass away.

²⁹ For the gifts and the calling of God are unregrettable.

² upon the hope of everlasting life, which God, who is incapable of lying, promised before times everlasting.

¹⁸ in order that through two unchangeable matters, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge, to take-hold of the hope that lays before us.

¹⁷ Every good act of giving, and every complete gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor a shadow of turning.

² And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great and you will be a blessing.

¹⁸ And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of Jehovah my God, to do less or more.

¹³ Yes, since the day was I am he and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. I will work and who can hinder it?

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they are following me, ²⁸ and I give to them everlasting life, and they may never perish and not anyone will be taking them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, who has given them to me, he is greater than all, and no one is able to take them out of my Father’s hand.

³⁸ For I have confidence, that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor present things, nor future things, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor some other created thing, will be able to separate us away from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵ who are kept through faith in the power of God, into a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

²¹ And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the way and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night.

⁴⁵ And I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God. ⁴⁶ And they will know that I am Jehovah their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them. I am Jehovah their God.

¹⁴ And he said, My presence will go with you and I will give you rest.
¹⁵ And Moses said to him, If your presence do not go, do not carry us up from here. ¹⁶ For how will it now be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth?

⁹ And he said, If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, I beseech you, let the Lord go in the midst of us, because it is a stiff-necked people and pardon our iniquity and our sin and take us for your inheritance.

⁵ And he was king in Jeshurun when the heads of the people were gathered, all the tribes of Israel together.

¹³ And Gideon said to him, Oh, my lord, if Jehovah is with us, then why has all this befallen us? And where are all his wondrous works which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up from Egypt? But now Jehovah has cast us off and delivered us into the hand of Midian.

¹² And behold, God is with us at our head and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to shout an alarm against you*. O sons of Israel, do not fight against Jehovah, the God of your* fathers. For you* will not prosper.

⁴ Even, because I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, because you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

² The man to whom Jehovah does not reckon sin and in whose spirit there is no deceit is fortunate.

⁵ I acknowledged my sin to you and I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Jehovah and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

¹⁵ The people who know the shout of you are fortunate. O Jehovah, they walk in the light of your countenance. ¹⁶ They rejoice all the day in your name and they are exalted in your righteousness.
¹⁷ Because you are the glory of their strength and in your favor our horn will be exalted. ¹⁸ Because our shield belongs to Jehovah and our king to the Holy One of Israel.

¹ Jehovah reigns! Let the earth rejoice. Let the multitude of isles be glad.

¹² As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous.
The right hand of Jehovah does valiantly.

¹⁸ Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah, though your* sins be as scarlet, they will be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they will be as wool.

¹⁰ Take counsel together and it will be brought to nothing. Speak the word and it will not stand, for God is with us.

⁶ Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion, for great in the midst of you is the Holy One of Israel.

²² For Jehovah is our judge. Jehovah is our lawgiver. Jehovah is our king, he will save us.

¹⁷ Behold, for peace I had great bitterness. But you have by love for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption. For you have cast all my sins behind your back.

¹⁰ Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

²⁰ In those days and in that time, says Jehovah, the iniquity of Israel will be sought for and there will be none and the sins of Judah and they will not be found. For I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

³⁵ It will be eighteen thousand measures all around. And the name of the city from that day will be, Jehovah is there.

² Take with you* words and return to Jehovah. Say to him, Take away all iniquity and accept what is good. So we will render as bullocks the offering of our lips. ³ Assyria will not save us. We will not ride upon horses, nor will we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods. For in you the fatherless finds mercy.
⁴ I will heal their backsliding. I will love them freely. For my anger is turned away from him.

¹⁸ Who is a God like to you, who pardons iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
¹⁹ He will again have compassion upon us. He will tread our iniquities under foot and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob and the loving kindness to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of long-ago.

²³ ‘Behold, the virgin will be pregnant, and will be bearing a son, and they will call his name Immanuel'; which is, after being translated, ‘God with us.’

³⁷ Now as he was already drawing near, even to the slope of the Mountain of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began rejoicing, and to praise God with a loud voice concerning all the miracles which they had seen; ³⁸ saying, The King who is coming in the name of the Lord has been blessed; peace in heaven and glory in the highest.

⁷ saying, ‘Those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven and whose sins are covered are fortunate. ⁸ The man to whom the Lord may never count sin, is fortunate.’

¹⁴ For sin will not have lordship over you; for you are not under the law, but under grace.

¹ Consequently now nothing is condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who are not walking according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

¹⁴ Now gratitude to God, who always makes us to triumph in the Christ and the aroma of his knowledge in every place is manifest through us.

¹⁹ as that, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ not counting to them their trespasses and having placed the word of reconciliation in us.

¹⁶ And what alliance has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; just-as God said, ‘I will be dwelling among them and will be walking among them, and I will be their God and they will be a people to me.’

¹⁶ But indeed for this cause I have raised you up, to display in you my power and that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.

¹⁸ And the Egyptians will know that I am Jehovah, when I have gotten for me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots and upon his horsemen.

² I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

⁵ And he sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, which is by the River, to the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, a people came out from Egypt. Behold, they cover the face of the earth and they abide opposite me.

⁸ God brings him forth out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild-ox. He will eat up the nations his adversaries and will break their bones in pieces and kill* them through with his arrows.

¹⁷ The first-offspring of his herd, majesty is his. And his horns are the horns of the wild-ox. With them he will push the peoples, all of them, even the ends of the earth. And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

⁹ Will the wild-ox be content to serve you? Or will he abide by your crib? ¹⁰ Can you bind the wild-ox with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys after you? ¹¹ Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave to him your labor?

²¹ Save me from the lion's mouth, yes, from the horns of the wild-oxen. You have answered me.

³⁵ O God, awesome out of your holy places, the God of Israel, he gives strength and power to his people. Praise God.

¹⁰ But you have exalted my horn like the wild ox's. I am anointed with fresh oil,

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise your head and you will bruise his heel.

⁶ Therefore, I beseech you, come now, curse this people for me, for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I will prevail, that we may kill* them and that I may drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed and he whom you curse is cursed.
⁷ And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand and they came to Balaam and spoke to him the words of Balak.

²² The sons of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the enchanter, with the sword among the rest of their slain.

¹⁹ O how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you before the sons of men!

¹ We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the days of long-ago. ² You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
³ Because they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm and the light of your countenance, because you were favorable to them.

⁹ And all men will fear. And they will declare the work of God and will wisely consider of his doing.

² Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, Jehovah has done great things for them. ³ Jehovah has done great things for us. We are glad.

¹³ to him who divided the Red Sea apart, because loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁴ and made Israel to pass through the midst of it, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁵ but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁶ to him who led his people through the wilderness, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁷ to him who killed* great kings, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁸ and killed famous kings, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorites, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
²⁰ and Og king of Bashan, because his loving kindness is everlasting,

⁴ Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Jehovah, the first and with the last, I am he.

⁹ In all their affliction he was afflicted and the messenger of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. And he bore them and carried them all the days of old.
¹⁰ But they rebelled and grieved his holy Spirit. Therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them.
¹¹ Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his holy Spirit in the midst of them, ¹² who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name,

¹⁵ And now, O Lord our God, who has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and has gotten you renown, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

⁴ For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. And I sent before you Moses, Aaron and Miriam.

¹⁵ As in the days of your coming forth out of the land of Egypt I will show marvelous things to them.

²⁵ But Jesus knowing their contemplations said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is made desolate, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

²⁷ And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, in whom do your sons cast them out? They will be your judges because of this.

¹⁸ But I also say to you, that you are ^{F} Peter and upon this, the rock, I will be building my congregation of believers, and the gates of Hades will not be prevailing against her.

¹⁸ But he said to them, I was viewing the Adversary falling like lightning from heaven. ¹⁹ Behold, I am giving you authority to trample down serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and you may never be hurt by anything.

⁴⁷ Therefore, the high-priests and the Pharisees gathered together a council and were saying, What are we doing because this man is doing many signs?

¹⁶ saying, What shall we do to these men? For that indeed a known sign has happened through them and apparent to all who are dwelling in Jerusalem, and we are not able to deny it.

¹² Now through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were happening among the people, and they were all united at Solomon’s porch.

¹⁴ and more believers, multitudes of both men and women, were added to the Lord;

³⁸ Jesus who was from Nazareth; how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went through out the land working good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.

¹² Now all the multitude was silent, and they were hearing Barnabas and Paul describing how-much God did, in signs and wonders, among the Gentiles through them.

²⁰ Now the God of peace will crush the Adversary under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is among you.

²³ but they were only hearing that, He who previously persecuted us is now proclaiming the good-news of the faith of which he was previously making havoc. ²⁴ And they were glorifying God with me.

⁸ For the word of the Lord has echoed forth from you, not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone forth; so-that we do not need to say anything. ⁹ For they themselves are reporting concerning us, what sort of entrance we had toward you, and how you turned from idols to God, to serve a living and true God,

⁹ And the great dragon was cast down, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and the Adversary, the one who is misleading the whole inhabited-earth; he was cast down to the earth and his messengers were cast down with him.

⁹ Judah is a lion's cub. From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down, he couched as a lion and as a lioness, who will rouse him up?

²⁷ Benjamin is a wolf that ravens. In the morning he will devour the prey and at evening he will divide the spoil.

⁸ God brings him forth out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild-ox. He will eat up the nations his adversaries and will break their bones in pieces and kill* them through with his arrows. ⁹ He couched, he lay down as a lion and as a lioness. Who will rouse him up? He who graces you is blessed, And he who curses you is cursed.

¹⁷ I see him, but not now. I behold him, but not near. There will come out a star out of Jacob and a scepter will rise out of Israel and will kill* through the corners of Moab and break down all the sons of tumult.

²⁰ And of Gad he said, He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness and tears the arm, yes, the crown of the head.

¹² He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

³⁰ The lion, which is mightiest among beasts and turns not away from any,

⁴ For Jehovah says thus to me, As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, even if a multitude of shepherds are called forth against him, he will not be dismayed at their voice, nor dismayed for the noise of them, so Jehovah of hosts will come down to fight upon Mount Zion and upon the hill of it.

⁴⁴ And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will the sovereignty of it be left to another people, but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it will stand forever.

⁸ The lion has roared, who will not fear? The lord Jehovah has spoken, who can but prophesy?

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces and there is none to deliver.
⁹ Let your hand be lifted up above your adversaries and let all your enemies be cut off.

¹¹ Where is the den of the lions and the feeding-place of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked, the lion's cub and none made them afraid?

⁴ From him will come out the cornerstone, from him the nail, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together. ⁵ And they will be as mighty men, treading down their enemies in the mud of the streets in the battle. And they will fight, because Jehovah is with them and the riders on horses will be confounded.

⁶ In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood and like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they will devour all the peoples all around, on the right hand and on the left and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

⁵ And one out of the elders says to me, Do not weep; behold, the Lion who is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so as to open the book and its seven seals.

¹¹ And I saw the heaven has been opened, and behold, a white horse and he who sits upon it being called Faithful and True, and he is judging in righteousness and is making war. ¹² Now his eyes are a flame of fire and upon his head are many diadems, and he has names written which no one knows except he himself. ¹³ And he has been dressed in a garment, having been dipped in blood and his name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which are in heaven were following him upon white horses, having clothed themselves in fine-linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And a sharp two edged long-sword travels out from his mouth, in order that he might strike the nations with it and he will shepherd them with an iron rod and he tramples on the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God, the Almighty. ¹⁶ And he has upon his garment and upon his thigh a name has been written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
¹⁷ And I saw a messenger standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come-here. Be gathered together to the great supper of God; ¹⁸ in order that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit upon them and the flesh of all men, both free men and bondservants and both the little and the great.
¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, have been gathered together to make a war with the one who sits upon the horse and with his army. ²⁰ And the beast was clutched and with him the false prophet who made the signs in his sight, in which he misled those who had received the mark of the beast and those who are worshiping his image. The two were cast while living into the lake of fire which is burning in brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were killed with the long-sword of the one who sits upon the horse, which came forth out of his mouth and all the birds were fed from their flesh.

¹ Why do the nations rage and the peoples meditate vain things? ² The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, against Jehovah and against his anointed, saying, ³ Let us break their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.

¹² And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak what Jehovah puts in my mouth?
¹³ And Balak said to him, I beseech you, come with me to another place, from where you may see them. You will see but the outmost part of them and will not see them all and curse them for me from there.

¹² And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not also speak to your messengers that you sent to me, saying, ¹³ If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of Jehovah, to do either good or bad of my own mind. What Jehovah speaks, that I will speak?

¹⁴ And Micaiah said, As Jehovah lives, what Jehovah says to me, that I will speak.

¹³ And Micaiah said, As Jehovah lives, what my God says, that will I speak.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answered and said to them, Judge for yourselves if it is righteous in God’s sight to listen to you rather than to God. ²⁰ For we are not able to speak, but the things which we saw and heard.

²⁹ But Peter and the apostles answered and said, It is essential for us to obey God rather than men.

¹³ And Balak said to him, I beseech you, come with me to another place, from where you may see them. You will see but the outmost part of them and will not see them all and curse them for me from there.

¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said and will he not do it? Or has he spoken and will he not make it good? ²⁰ Behold, I have received to bless. And he has blessed and I cannot reverse it.

¹³ But he is in one mind and who can turn him? And what his soul desires, even that he does.

²¹ There are many devices in a man's heart, but the counsel of Jehovah, that will stand.

³⁰ There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Jehovah.

²⁷ For Jehovah of hosts has purposed and who will annul it? And his hand is stretched out and who will turn it back?

¹⁰ declaring the end from the beginning and from long-ago things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel will stand and I will do all my pleasure, ¹¹ calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken. I will also make it occur. I have purposed. I will also do it.

²⁸ They also joined themselves to Baal of Peor and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
