¹ I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To you, O Jehovah, I will sing praises. ² I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
³ I will set no wicked speech before my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside. It will not cleave to me. ⁴ A perverse heart will depart from me. I will know no evil thing.
⁵ He who slanders his neighbor secretly, I will destroy him. He who has a high look and a proud heart I will not endure.
⁶ My eyes will be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will minister to me.
⁷ He who works deceit will not dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood will not be established before my eyes.
⁸ Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of wickedness from the city of Jehovah.

¹⁴ Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, you God of my salvation. And my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

²² I will also praise you with the psaltery, even your truth, O my God. I will sing praises to you with the harp, O you Holy One of Israel. ²³ My lips will shout for joy because I sing praises to you and my soul, which you have redeemed.

¹ I will sing of the loving kindness of Jehovah everlasting. I will make known your faithfulness to all generations with my mouth.

⁸ Zion heard and was glad and the daughters of Judah rejoiced, because of your judgments, O Jehovah.

⁶ Jehovah executes righteous acts and judgments for all who are oppressed. ⁷ He made known his ways to Moses, his practices to the sons of Israel. ⁸ Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness.

¹⁰ to him who killed* Egypt in their firstborn, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹¹ and brought out Israel from among them, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹² with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹³ to him who divided the Red Sea apart, because loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁴ and made Israel to pass through the midst of it, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁵ but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁶ to him who led his people through the wilderness, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁷ to him who killed* great kings, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁸ and killed famous kings, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorites, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
²⁰ and Og king of Bashan, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
²¹ and gave their land for a heritage, because his loving kindness is everlasting,
²² even a heritage to Israel his servant, because his loving kindness is everlasting,

⁷ They will pour out the memory of your great goodness and will sing of your righteousness.

¹⁵ For he says to Moses, ‘I will show-mercy to whomever I show-mercy and I will have pity on whomever I have pity.’ ¹⁶ Therefore consequently, it is not from the one who wills, nor from the one who runs, but from God, the one who shows-mercy. ¹⁷ For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, ‘I have lifted you up for this same thing, that I myself might show in you my power and that my name might be thoroughly proclaimed in all the earth.’ ¹⁸ Therefore consequently, he shows-mercy on whom he wills and he hardens whom he wills.

²² But what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, carried us, vessels of wrath having been framed for destruction, in much patience; ²³ and in order that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,

²² Therefore, behold the kindness and severity of God, indeed severity upon those who fell, but kindness upon you, if you remain in the kindness of God : otherwise you also will be cut off.

³ And they are singing the song of Moses the bondservant of God and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; your ways are righteous and true, the King of the nations. ⁴ Who should never fear you, Lord, and should glorify your name? Because only you are holy, because all the nations will be coming and will be worshiping in your sight, because your righteousnesses were manifested.

¹ I heard after these things, as it was a large voice of a large crowd in heaven, saying, Hallelujah! Salvation and power and glory, is from our God: ² because true and righteous are his judgments, because he has judged the great prostitute, she who was corrupting the earth in her fornication and he has avenged the blood of his bondservants from her hand.
³ And they have said a second-time, Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up forevermore.

¹⁹ For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice, to the end that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham what he has spoken of him.

⁷ And you will teach them diligently to your sons and will talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

¹⁵ And if it seems evil to you* to serve Jehovah, choose you* this day whom you* will serve: whether the gods which your* fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you* dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

¹⁴ And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways and Jehovah was with him. ¹⁵ And when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.

¹⁴ Then Ahimelech answered the king and said, And who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king's son-in-law and is taken into your council and is honorable in your house?

¹⁵ And David reigned over all Israel. And David executed justice and righteousness to all his people.

⁴ And as for you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

⁴ For it happened, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods. And his heart was not perfect with Jehovah his God as was the heart of David his father.

¹⁷ But the high places were not taken away out of Israel. Nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

¹² Also the hand of God came upon Judah to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the rulers by the word of Jehovah.

²⁰ And thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah. And he worked what was good and right and faithful before Jehovah his God. ²¹ And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God and in the law and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart and prospered.

¹⁷ But I am poor and needy, yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer. Make no delay, O my God.

¹ We give thanks to you, O God. We give thanks, for your name is near. Men tell of your wondrous works.
² When I will find the set time, I will judge in uprightness;

⁶ My eyes will be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will minister to me.

¹⁰⁶ I have sworn and have confirmed it, that I will observe your righteous ordinances.

¹¹⁵ Depart from me, you* evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.

⁷ Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah, my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, lest I become like those who go down into the pit.
⁸ Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, because I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, because I lift up my soul to you.

³ and said, O Jehovah, I beseech you, remember now how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart and have done what is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept greatly.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch and he will reign as king and deal wisely and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. ⁶ In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell safely. And this is his name by which he will be called: Jehovah our righteousness.

⁴ the one who is governing his own house well, having his children in subjection with all honesty; ⁵ (but if anyone does not know how to govern his own house, how will he be caring for the congregation of God?;)

¹⁷ You will not desire your neighbor's house. You will not desire your neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

⁸ They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made for them a molten calf and have worshiped it and have sacrificed to it and said, These are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

¹⁷ And nothing of the devoted thing will cling to your hand, that Jehovah may turn from the fierceness of his anger and show you mercy and have compassion upon you and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers,

⁹ Beware that there not be a worthless thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing and he cry to Jehovah against you and it is sin to you.

⁶ Therefore be you* very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that you* not turn aside from there to the right hand or to the left;

²⁰ And Samuel said to the people, Do not fear. You* have indeed done all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following Jehovah, but serve Jehovah with all your* heart. ²¹ And do not turn not aside after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver, for they are vain.

¹¹ I regret that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments. And Samuel was angry and he cried out to Jehovah all night.

² And it happened at evening, that David arose from his bed and walked upon the roof of the king's house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. ³ And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

² And Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, Give me your vineyard that I may have it for a garden of herbs because it is near to my house. And I will give you for it a better vineyard than it, or, if it seem good to you, I will give you the worth of it in money. ³ And Naboth said to Ahab, Jehovah forbid it of me that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you.
⁴ And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him, for he had said, I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid himself down upon his bed and turned away his face and would eat no bread.
⁵ But Jezebel his wife came to him and said to him, Why is your spirit so sad that you eat no bread? ⁶ And he said to her, Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and said to him, Give me your vineyard for money, or else, if it please you, I will give you another vineyard for it. And he answered, I will not give you my vineyard.
⁷ And Jezebel his wife said to him, Do you now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise and eat bread and let your heart be merry. I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
⁸ So she wrote letters in Ahab's name and sealed them with his seal and sent the letters to the elders and to the nobles who were in his city, and who dwelt with Naboth. ⁹ And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast and set Naboth on high among the people. ¹⁰ And set two men, worthless fellows, before him and let them bear witness against him, saying, You cursed God and the king. And then carry him out and stone him to death.
¹¹ And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who dwelt in his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, just-as it was written in the letters which she had sent to them. ¹² They proclaimed a fast and set Naboth on high among the people.
¹³ And the two men, the worthless fellows, came in and sat before him. And the worthless fellows bore witness against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth cursed God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city and stoned him to death with stones. ¹⁴ Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned and is dead.
¹⁵ And it happened, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money, for Naboth is not alive, but dead. ¹⁶ And it happened, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite to take possession of it. ¹⁷ And the word of Jehovah came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ¹⁸ Arise, go down to meet Ahab King of Israel, who dwells in Samaria. Behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth where he has gone down to take possession of it. ¹⁹ And you will speak to him, saying, Jehovah says thus, Have you killed and also taken possession? And you will speak to him, saying, Jehovah says thus, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth will dogs lick your blood, even your.
²⁰ And Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you because you have sold yourself to do what is evil in the sight of Jehovah.
²¹ Behold, I will bring evil upon you and will utterly sweep you away and will cut off from Ahab every one who urinates on the wall and he who is shut up and he who is left at large in Israel. ²² And I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah for the provocation with which you have provoked me to anger and have made Israel to sin.
²³ And Jehovah spoke also of Jezebel, saying, The dogs will eat Jezebel by the rampart of Jezreel. ²⁴ He who dies of Ahab in the city the dogs will eat and he who dies in the field will the birds of the heavens eat. ²⁵ (But there was none like Ahab, who sold himself to do what was evil in the sight of Jehovah, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up. ²⁶ And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites did whom Jehovah cast out before the sons of Israel.)
²⁷ And it happened, when Ahab heard those words, that he tore his clothes and put sackcloth upon his flesh and fasted and lay in sackcloth and went softly. ²⁸ And the word of Jehovah came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ²⁹ You see how Ahab humbles himself before me? Because he humbles himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days, but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.

¹ I made a covenant with my eyes. How then should I look upon a virgin?

³ They are all gone aside. They are morally-corrupt together. There is none who does good, no, not one.

²⁰ Jehovah has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me. ²¹ Because I have kept the ways of Jehovah and have not wickedly departed from my God.
²² Because all his ordinances were before me and I put not away his statutes from me. ²³ I was also perfect with him and I kept myself from my iniquity.

⁴ I have not sat with men of falsehood, nor will I go in with pretenders. ⁵ I hate the assembly of evildoers and will not sit with the wicked.

³ The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

¹ I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I do not sin with my tongue. I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked man is before me.

⁴ The man is fortunate who makes Jehovah his trust and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

⁴¹ And they turned again and challenged God and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

⁵⁷ but turned back and dealt treacherously like their fathers. They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

¹⁰ O you* who love Jehovah, hate evil.
He preserves the souls of his holy ones. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

³⁷ Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity and give me life in your ways.

¹¹³ I hate those who are of a double mind, but I love your law.

⁵ But as for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of wickedness.
Peace be upon Israel.

²⁵ Do not desire after her beauty in your heart, nor let her take you with her eyelids.

³¹ Do not look upon the wine because it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly. ³² At the end it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder.
³³ Your eyes will behold strange things and your heart will utter perverse things. ³⁴ Yes, you will be as he who lies down in the midst of the sea, or as he who lies upon the top of a mast.
³⁵ They have stricken me, you will say and I was not hurt. They have beaten me and I did not feel it. When shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

⁹ Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

¹¹ You* get out of the way. Turn aside out of the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

¹⁵ He who walks righteously and speaks in uprightness. He who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes away his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood and shuts his eyes from looking upon evil.

¹⁷ But your eyes and your heart are not but for your covetousness and for shedding innocent blood and for oppression and for violence, to do it.

⁶ For they have made their heart ready like an oven, while they lie in wait. Their baker sleeps all the night. In the morning it burns as a flaming fire. ⁷ They are all hot as an oven and devour their judges. All their kings are fallen. There is none among those who call to me.

² And they desire fields and seize them and houses and take them away. And they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

⁵ and those who worship the host of heaven upon the housetops and those who worship, who swear to Jehovah and swear by Malcam, ⁶ and those who are turned back from following Jehovah and those who have not sought Jehovah, nor inquired after him.

²⁸ But I say to you, that everyone who is looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

⁹ Let the love be non-pretended, abhorring evil things, joining yourselves to what is the good thing.

⁹ But now having known God, but rather having been known by God, how are you turning back again to the weak and poor fundamental principles? Do you again wish to be enslaved to these anew?

³⁹ But we are not from this retreating back leading to destruction, but we are from the faith leading to the preservation of the soul.

¹³ Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God, for God is not temptable from evils, and he himself tempts no one. ¹⁴ But each person is tempted, when he is pulled away and enticed by his own lust. ¹⁵ Thereafter when this lust has conceived, it bears sin, and sin, when it has matured, gives-birth to death.

²¹ For it was better for them to have not known fully the way of righteousness, than to turn away from the holy commandment given to them after having fully known it.

¹⁹ They went out away from us, but they were not from us; for if they had been from us, they would have remained with us, but they went out, in order that they might be made manifest that all of them are not from us.

⁸ Depart from me, all you* workers of wickedness, because Jehovah has heard the voice of my weeping.

¹² to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things, ¹³ who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, ¹⁴ who rejoice to do evil and delight in the perverseness of evil, ¹⁵ who are crooked in their ways and wayward in their paths,

³² Because the perverse man is an abomination to Jehovah, but his friendship is with the upright.

¹³ The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil. I hate: pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth.

⁶ Forsake you* simpleness and live and advance in the way of understanding.

²⁰ Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah, but such as are perfect in their way are his delight.

²⁴ Make no friendship with a man who is given to anger and you will not go with a wrathful man,

²³ And then I will confess to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who are working lawlessness.

¹⁴ Do not become unequally yoked with unbelieving ones; for what partnership has righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness? ¹⁵ And what agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with unbelieving ones? ¹⁶ And what alliance has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; just-as God said, ‘I will be dwelling among them and will be walking among them, and I will be their God and they will be a people to me.’

³³ and I was lowered through a window in a hamper and through the wall and fled away from his hands.

¹⁹ Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal, ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’

¹⁶ You will not bear false witness against your neighbor.

¹ You will not take up a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked man to be an unrighteous witness.

¹⁶ You will not go up and down as a gossiper among your people, neither will you stand against the blood of your neighbor. I am Jehovah.

³ Talk no more so very proudly. Do not let arrogance come out of your* mouth, for Jehovah is a God of knowledge and by him actions are weighed.

¹¹ Pour forth the overflowing of your anger and look upon everyone who is proud and humble him.
¹² Look on everyone who is proud, and bring him low and tread down the wicked where they stand.

² The poor man is hotly-pursued in the pride of the wicked man. Let them be taken in the devices that they have conceived. ³ Because the wicked man boasts of his heart's desire. And the greedy man renounces, yes, despises Jehovah.
⁴ The wicked man, in the pride of his countenance, says, He will not require it. All his thoughts are, There is no God.

³ he who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor,

²⁷ Because you will save the afflicted people, but the haughty eyes you will bring down.

²⁰ You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son.

⁶ Because Jehovah is high, yet he has respect to the lowly. But he knows the haughty from afar.

¹⁶ There are six things which Jehovah hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to him: ¹⁷ haughty eyes, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood, ¹⁸ a heart that devises wicked purposes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, ¹⁹ a false witness who breathes-out lies and he who sows discord among brothers.

¹⁸ He who hides hatred is from lying lips. And he who utters a slander is a fool.

¹⁹ He who goes about as a gossiper reveals secrets. Therefore do not associate with he who opens his lips wide.

²³ The north wind brings forth rain. So does a backbiting tongue, an indignant countenance.

¹³ There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes and their eyelids are lifted up.

¹¹ The lofty looks of man will be brought low and the haughtiness of men will be bowed down and Jehovah alone will be exalted in that day.

⁹ Slanderers have been in you to shed blood and in you they have eaten upon the mountains. In the midst of you they have committed lewdness.

³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are truth and his ways justice. And he is able to humble those who walk in pride.

³ The pride of your heart has deceived you, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high, who says in his heart, Who will bring me down to the ground? ⁴ Though you mount on high as the eagle and though your nest is set among the stars, I will bring you down from there, says Jehovah.

¹⁴ I say to you, This one went down to his house, having been made righteous rather than that man, because everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, but he who is humbling himself will be exalted.

¹¹ But now, I have written to you not to socialize together with anyone if he is named a brother, who is either a fornicator or greedy, or an idolater or a reviler, or a drunkard or a swindler, not to even eat together with such a person. \ulnone\nosupersub

¹¹ Women likewise must be honorable, not slanderers, but temperate, faithful in all things.

³ Likewise, teach elderly-women to be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not having been enslaved to much wine, but teachers of what is good,

⁵ Likewise, the younger ones, be subject to the elder ones. But all of you be subject to one another, clothe yourselves with humility, because ‘God resists the haughty, but is giving grace to the humble.’ ⁶ Therefore humble yourselves under the powerful hand of God, in order that he may exalt you in time;

⁴ in whose eyes those who reject God are despised, but who honors those who fear Jehovah, he that swears to his own hurt and changes not,

¹⁵ The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer.

¹ Those who are perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah are fortunate. ² Those who keep his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart are fortunate. ³ Yes, they do no unrighteousness. They walk in his ways.

⁶³ I am a companion of all those who fear you and of those who observe your precepts.

²⁸ When the wicked rise, men hide themselves, but when they perish, the righteous increase.

² When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, the people sigh.

⁴⁵ Who then is the faithful and prudent bondservant, whom his lord has designated over his bondservants, to give them their nourishment in season?

⁴³ That fortunate bondservant, whom his lord will find so doing when he has come. ⁴⁴ Truly I say to you, that he will be designating him over all his possessions.

²⁶ If anyone serves me, let him follow me, and where I am, my servant will also be there. And if anyone serves me, the Father will be honoring him.

³ And if I travel on, I will be preparing a place for you. I am coming again and will be receiving you to myself; in order that where I am, you may also be there.

²⁴ Father, I wish that they, whom you have given me, may also be with me where I am, in order that they may view my glory, which you gave me, because you loved me before the conception of the world.

¹ Let every soul be subject to the authorities which are superior to him; for there is no authority if not by God, and the authorities which are, have been appointed by God. ² So-then, the one who is resisting the authority is standing against the commandment of God, and those who are standing against it will be receiving judgment for themselves. ³ For rulers are not a fear to those of the good works, but to those of the evil works. And you do not wish to be afraid of the authority, do you? Do what is the good thing and you will have praise from it; ⁴ for he is a servant of God to you for what is the good thing. But if you practice what is the evil thing, be afraid; for he is not wearing the sword vainly; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to the one who is practicing the evil thing.

¹² Not that I have already received it or have already been completed in this, but I am pursuing it, if I might grab that for which I was also grabbed by Christ Jesus. ¹³ Brethren, I do not reason to have grabbed it, but one thing I indeed do, forgetting the things which are behind me and stretching forth to the things which are before me. ¹⁴ I am pursuing according to the goal line toward the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Therefore, as many as are mature, we should be mindful of this, and if you are mindful of anyone differently, God will also be revealing this to you;

²⁰ Behold, I am standing at the door and knocking; if anyone hears my voice and if he opens the door, I will enter to him and will dine with him and he with me. ²¹ He who overcomes, I will be giving to him to sit with me at my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father at his throne.

³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will be residing with them and they will be his people and God will be with them.

¹⁰ when he who told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good news, I took hold of him and killed him in Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news.
¹¹ How much more, when evil men have slain a righteous man in his own house upon his bed, shall I not now require his blood of your* hand and take you* away from the earth?
¹² And David commanded his young men and they killed them and cut off their hands and their feet and hanged them up beside the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth and buried it in the grave of Abner in Hebron.

²⁶ And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money and to receive garments and olive-groves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and men-servants and maidservants? ²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman will cling to you and to your seed everlasting. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

² Your tongue devises wickedness, like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

¹² If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his servants are wicked.

¹⁶ Brethren, it was essential that this Scripture might be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit said beforehand through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who took Jesus, ¹⁷ because he was numbered together with us and was allotted his inheritance in this service.

You have not lied to men, but to God. ⁵ But Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and expired, and there became great fear upon all those who heard these things. ⁶ Now when the younger-men stood up, they enshrouded him and carried him out and buried him.
⁷ Now it happened after an interval of approximately three hours, his wife also came in, not knowing what has happened. ⁸ But Peter answered her, Tell me if you were given so-much for the parcel of ground?
And she said, Yes, for so much.
⁹ But Peter said to her, Why is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door and they will be carrying you out. ¹⁰ Now she fell down instantly beside his feet and expired and the young-men came in and found her dead and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.

² Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

⁸ As we have heard, so we have seen in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God, God will establish it everlasting. Selah.

¹⁰ All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, but the horns of a righteous man will be lifted up.

¹⁰ All nations encompassed me around. I will cut them off in the name of Jehovah. ¹¹ They encompassed me around, yes, they encompassed me around. ¹² It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness, because the throne is established by righteousness.

⁸ A king who sits on the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes.

²⁶ A wise king scatters the wicked and brings the wheel over them.

¹² O house of David, Jehovah says thus: Execute justice in the morning and deliver he who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go forth like fire and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your* practices.

³ They will not dwell in Jehovah's land, but Ephraim will return to Egypt and they will eat unclean food in Assyria.

⁸ But of late my people have risen up as an enemy. You* strip off the robe with the garment from those who pass by securely as men turning back from war. ⁹ You* cast out the women of my people from their pleasant houses. You* take away my glory from their young sons everlasting.
¹⁰ Arise and depart, for this is not your* resting-place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.

¹ And I said, Hear, I beseech you*, you* heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel. Is it not for you* to know justice? ² You* who hate the good and love the evil, who pluck off their skin from them and their flesh from their bones, ³ who also eat the flesh of my people and flay their skin from them and break their bones and chop them in pieces, as for the pot and as flesh within the caldron.
⁴ Then they will cry to Jehovah, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, just-as they have worked evil in their practices.

⁹ Hear this, I beseech you*, you* heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice and pervert all equity.

²⁷ And any desecrated thing or anyone practicing an abomination and a lie may never enter into it; except those who have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life may enter into it.

¹⁴ The fortunate ones are practicing his commandments, in order that their authority will be in the Tree of Life and they may enter in by the gates into the city.
¹⁵ The dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices a lie are outside.
