⁶ I have called upon you, because you will answer me, O God. Incline your ear to me and hear my speech.

³ Consider and answer me, O Jehovah my God. Lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the death, ⁴ lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him, lest my adversaries rejoice because I am shaken.

¹⁶ As for me, I will call upon God and Jehovah will save me.

¹⁹ But truly God has heard. He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
²⁰ Kneel to God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me.

⁷ I will call upon you in the day of my trouble, because you will answer me.

² Let my prayer enter into your presence. Incline your ear to my cry.

² Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call as long as I live.

¹⁷ Incline your ear, O Jehovah and hear. Open your eyes, O Jehovah and see and hear all the words of Sennacherib, who has sent to defy the living God.

²⁰ Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are Jehovah, even you only.

¹⁷ Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his supplications and cause your face to shine upon your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. ¹⁸ O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and behold our desolations and the city which is called by your name. For we do not present our supplications before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies' sake.
¹⁹ O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and do. Defer not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.
