² Dearly beloued, now are we the sonnes of God, and yet it doeth not appeare, what we shalbe. But we knowe that when it shal appere, we shalbe like him. For we shall se him as he is.

²⁶ that I shal be clothed againe wyth thys skynne, & se God in my fleshe.

¹¹ Thou hast shewed me the wayes of lyfe: thou shalte make me full of ioye wyth thy countenaunce. At thy ryght hande there is pleasure and ioye for euermore.

¹⁵ But as for me, I wil beholde thy presence in righteousnes: and when thy glory appeareth, I shall be satisfied.

¹⁹ O howe greate and manyfolde is thy good, whyche thou haste hyd for them that feare the? O what thinges bringest thou to passe for them, that put their truste in the, euen before the sonnes of men?

⁵ Vnto them wyll I geue in my housholde and within my walles, a better herytage and name then yf they had bene called sonnes and doughters I wyll geue them an euerlastynge name, that shall not peryshe.

² But who may abyde the day of hys commyng? Who shalbe able to endure, when he appeareth? For he is lyke a goldsmythes fire and lyke a wasshers sope.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in hert: for thei shal se God.

²⁴ Father, I will that they which thou haste geuen me, be with me where I am, that they maye se my glory which thou hast geuen me. For thou louedest me before the makynge of the worlde.

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the spirite of God: ¹⁵ they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father.

¹⁸ For I suppose that the afflictions of thys lyfe are not worthy of the glory which shall be shewed vpon vs.

²⁹ For those which he knewe before he also ordeyned before, that they shoulde be like fashioned vnto the shape of hys sonne that he myght be the fyrste begotten sonne amonge manye brethren.

⁹ But as it was written: The eye hath not sene, and the eare hath not hearde, neither haue entred into the herte of man the thinges, which God hath prepared for them that loue him.

¹² Nowe we se in a glasse euen in a darke speakinge, but then shall we se face to face. Nowe I knowe vnperfectlye, but then shall I knowe euen as I am knowen.

⁴⁹ And as we haue borne the ymage of the earthly so shal we beare the Image of the heauenlye.

¹⁸ But we all beholde the glorye of the Lorde with hys face open, and chaunged vnto the same similitude, from glorye to glory, euen of the spirite of the Lorde.

¹⁷ For oure excedynge trybulation whiche is momentanye and lyghte, prepareth an excedynge and eternall wayghte of glory vnto vs,

⁶ Therfore we are alwaye of good chere, & knowe well that as longe as we are at home in the bodye, we are absente from God. ⁷ For we walke in fayth, and se not. ⁸ Neuerthelesse we are of good comforte, and had leuer be absente from the bodye, and to be presente with the Lorde.

²⁶ For ye are al the sonnes of God, by the fayth whiche is in Christe Iesus.

⁶ Because ye are sonnes, God hath sent the spyryte of hys sonne into our hertes, whiche cryeth Abba father.

²¹ whiche shal chaunge oure vyle bodies, that they maie be fashioned like vnto his glorious bodie, accordinge to the working, wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto him selfe.

⁴ When Christ which is our life, shal shew him selfe then shal ye also appere wyth him in glorye.

²⁸ euen so Christ was ones offered to take away the synnes of many, and vnto them that loke for hym, shall he appere agayne wythoute synne vnto saluacyon.

⁴ by the meanes, wherof are geuen vnto vs excellent and most great promises, that by the helpe of them ye should be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye flee the corruption of worldelye luste.

²⁸ And now babes abide in him, that when he shal appeare, we maye be bolde, and not be made ashamed of him at his comming:

¹ Beholde what loue the father hath shewed on vs, that we shoulde be called the sonnes of God. For this cause the worlde knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him.

¹ Whosoeuer beleueth that Iesus is Christ, is borne of God. And euerye one that loueth hym whiche begat, loueth hym also whyche was begotten of hym.

⁴ And shall se his face, & hys name shall be in theyr foreheades.
