¹ Beholde what loue the father hath shewed on vs, that we shoulde be called the sonnes of God. For this cause the worlde knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him.

¹⁹ And is thys a small thyng in thy syght Lorde Iehouah, but that thou shuldest speake also of the seruauntes house for a greate while to come? is this a lawe amonge men Lorde Iehouah?

¹⁹ O howe greate and manyfolde is thy good, whyche thou haste hyd for them that feare the? O what thinges bringest thou to passe for them, that put their truste in the, euen before the sonnes of men?

⁷ How precious is thy mercy, O God, that the chyldren of men maye put their trust vnder the shadowe of thy wynges? ⁸ They shalbe satisfied with the plenteousnesse of thy house, and thou shalte geue them drynke of the ryuer of thy pleasures. ⁹ For by the is the wel of lyfe, and in thy lyght, shall we se lyght.

¹ An instruccyon yf Ethan the Ezrahyte. My songe shalbe alway of the louynge kyndnesse of the Lorde, wyth my mouth wyl I euer be shewynge thy faythfulnes from one generacyon to another. ² For I haue sayed, mercy shalbe set vp for euer, thy faythfulnesse shalt thou stablysh in the heauens.

¹⁹ I haue shewed also, howe I toke the vp beynge but a chylde, & gaue the a pleasaunt lande for thyne heretage, yea & a goodly Hoste of the heathen: & how I commaunded the, that thou shouldest cal me father only, & not to shrynck from me.

¹⁰ And thoughe the nombre of the chyldren of Israel be as the sand of the sea, which can neyther be measured nor tolde: yet in the place where it is sayde vnto them, ye be not my people, euen there shal it be thus reported of them: they be the chyldren of the lyuynge God.

¹² But as manye as receyued him to them he gaue power to be the sonnes of God in that they beleued on his name

¹⁶ For God so loueth the worlde, that he hath geuen his only sonne, that none that beleue in him, should perishe: but should haue euerlastinge lyfe.

¹⁸ Yf the worlde hate you, ye knowe that it hated me before it hated you. ¹⁹ Yf ye were of the worlde, the worlde woulde loue his owne. Howe be it because ye are not of the worlde, but I haue chosen you out of the worlde, therfore hateth you the worlde.

³ And suche thinges shall they do vnto you, because they haue not knowen the father, neyther yet me.

²⁵ O righteous father, the very world hath not knowen the: but I haue knowen the, and these haue knowen that thou haste sente me.

⁸ But God setteth out his loue that he hath to vs, seing that whil we wer yet sinners, Christ died for vs.

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the spirite of God: ¹⁵ they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father. ¹⁶ The same spirite certifieth oure spirite that we are the sonnes of God. ¹⁷ Yf we be sonnes, we are also heyres, the heyres I meane of God, and heyres annexed with Christe yf so be that we suffer together, that we maye be glorified together.

²¹ For the verye creatures shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertye of the sonnes of God.

³² whyche spared not his owne sonne but gaue hym for vs all: how shall he not wyth hym geue vs all thynges also?

²⁵ As he sayeth in Osee I wyll call them my people which were not my people: and her beloued which was not beloued. ²⁶ And it shall come to passe in the place where it was sayed vnto them, ye are not my people: that there shalbe called the children of the liuinge God.

¹⁸ and wyll be a father vnto you, and ye shall be vnto me sonnes and doughters, sayth the Lorde almyghtye.

²⁶ For ye are al the sonnes of God, by the fayth whiche is in Christe Iesus.

²⁹ Yf ye be Christes, then are ye Abrahams seede and heyres by promes.

⁵ to redeme them which were vnder the lawe: that we thorowe eleccyon myght receyue the enheritaunce that belongeth vnto the naturall sonnes. ⁶ Because ye are sonnes, God hath sent the spyryte of hys sonne into our hertes, whiche cryeth Abba father.

⁴ But God whiche is ryche in mercye thorow his great loue wherewith he loued vs, ⁵ euen when we were dead by synne, hath quickened vs together in Christ (for by grace are ye saued)

¹⁸ might be able to comprehende wyth all sainctes, what is the bread and length, deapt and height: ¹⁹ and to knowe, what is the loue of Christe, whyche loue passeth knowledge, that ye myghte be fulfylled wyth all maner of fulnes, whiche cometh of God.

³ For ye are dead and youre lyfe is hid with Christ in God.

⁹ In this appered the loue of God to vsward, because that God sent his onely begotten sonne into the world, that we myght lyue thorow him: ¹⁰ Herin is loue, not that we loued God, but that he loued vs, & sente his sonne to make agrement for our synnes.

⁷ He that ouercometh, shal inherete all thynges, & I wilbe his God, & he shall be my sonne.
