⁷ Beloued, let vs loue one another, for loue commeth of god. And euery one that loueth is borne of God, & knoweth God.

⁶ And the Lorde the God wyll circumcise thine hert & the herte of thy sede for to loue the Lord thy God wyth al thyne hert & all thy soule, that thou mayst lyue.

³ This is lyfe eternall that they myghte knowe, the that onely very God, and whome thou haste sente Iesus Christ.

⁶ For it is God that commaunded the lighte to shyne out of darknes, whiche hath shyned in oure hertes, for to geue the lyghte of the knoweledge of the glorye of God, in the face of Iesus Christe.

⁹ But nowe seynge, ye knowe God (yea rather are knowen of God) how is it that ye turne agayne to the weake & beggerly ceremonies, wherevnto agayne ye desyre a freshe to be in bondage?

²² But the frute of the spiryte, is loue, ioye peace, longe sufferynge, gentylnes, goodnes, faithfulnes,

⁹ But as touchinge brotherly loue, ye nede not that I write vnto you. For ye are taught of God to loue one another. ¹⁰ Yea and that thing verelye ye do vnto all the brethren, which are thorowout all Macedonia. We beseche you brethren, that ye encrease more and more,

⁷ For God hath not geuen to vs the spiryte of feare, but of power and of loue, and of sobrenes of mynde.

²² And for as muche as ye haue puryfyed, youre soules thorowe the spyryte, in obeying the truethe for to loue brotherlye wythout faynynge, se that ye loue one another with a pure herte feruentlye:

¹⁰ He that loueth his brother, abideth in the lyghte, and there is none occasion of euill in him.

²⁹ If ye knowe that he is rightuous, knowe also that he whiche foloweth rightuousnes, is borne of hym.

¹⁰ In this are the chyldren of God knowen, and the chyldren of the deuil. Whosoeuer doth not rightuousnes, is not of God, neyther he that loueth not his brother. ¹¹ For this is the tidinges, that ye hearde from the beginninge, that ye should loue one anothere ¹² not as Cayn, which was of the wicked & slewe his brother. And wherfore slewe he him? Because his own workes were euyll, and his brothers good. ¹³ Maruaile not my brethren though the worlde hate you. ¹⁴ We know that we are translated from death vnto lyfe, because we loue the brethren. He that loueth not his brother, abydeth in death. ¹⁵ Whosoeuer hateth his brother, is a man slear. And ye know that no man slear hath eternal life abidinge in him. ¹⁶ Hereby perceyue we loue, that he gaue hys lyfe for vs, & therfore oughte we also to geue our lyues for the brethren. ¹⁷ Whosoeuer hath this worldes good, and seeth his brother haue nede, and shutteth vp his compassion from him, howe dwelleth the loue of God in hym? ¹⁸ My babes, let vs not loue in worde neyther in tonge, but wyth the dede and in veryty: ¹⁹ For therby we know that we are of the verytye, and can before him quyete oure hertes. ²⁰ But if our hertes condempne vs, God is greater then our hertes, and knoweth all thinges. ²¹ Beloued, yf our hertes condempne vs not, then haue we trust to Godward, ²² and whatsoeuer we are, we shall receiue of him, because we kepe his commaundementes, and do these thinges, which are pleasyng in hys sight. ²³ And this is his commaundement, that we beleue on the name of his sonne Iesus Christ and loue one another, as he gaue commaundemente.

⁸ He that loueth not, knoweth not God: for God is loue.

¹² No man hath sene God at anyetime. Yf we loue one another, god dwelleth in vs, and his loue is perfect in vs.

²⁰ Yf a man saye, I loue God, and yet hate his brother, he is a lyar. For howe can he that loueth not his brother whom he hath sene, loue god, whom he hath not sene?
