¹⁹ And the quere that was wythin the temple, he prepared to set there the arcke of the appoyntmente of the Lorde.

²⁰ And he toke and put the testimony in the arcke, and set the staues to the arcke, & putte the mercy seate an hye vppon the arcke, ²¹ and brought the arcke into the habitation, & hanged vp the vayle, & couered the arcke of witnes as the Lord commanded Moses.

⁵ And vnder the walles of the house he made galaryes rounde aboute, bothe rounde aboute the temple and also the quere. And so made sydes rounde aboute.

¹⁶ And he syled twentye cubytes in the ende of the temple both floore & walles wyth Cedar, and dressed it within to be the quere and place most holye.

⁶ And so the priestes brought the arcke of the apoyntment of the Lorde vnto hys place: euen into the quere of the temple, and place moste holy, vnder the wynges of the Cherubes. ⁷ For the Cherubes stretched oute theyr wynges ouer the arcke, and couered bothe it and also the staues therof a hye vpon it. ⁸ How be it the staues were so longe that the endes of them appered oute of the holy place before the quere, but were not sene wythoute. And there they be vnto thys dayes. ⁹ And there was nothynge in the arcke saue the two tables of stone whiche Moyses put there at Horeb, when the Lorde made an appoyntment wyth the chyldren of Israel after they were come oute of Egypte. ¹⁰ And when the priestes were come oute of the holye place, then a cloude fylled the house of the Lorde,

²⁰ the candelstickes with theyr lampes to burne after the maner before the quere, & that of pure goulde,

⁷ And the priestes broughte the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde vnto hys place in the quere of the temple & place moste holye: euen vnder the wynges of the Cherubes,

² Heare the voyce of my humble peticyon, when I cry vnto the, and hold vp my handes toward thy holy temple.

³ But wythin the second vayle was there a tabernacle, whiche is called holyeste of all ⁴ whiche had the golden senser, and the arcke of the testament ouerlayde roundabout wyth gold, wherein was the golden pot with manna, and Aarons rodde that sprong, and the tables of the testament.
