¹ When Saul was come agayne from the Philistines, there were that tolde him saying: beholde Dauid is in the wildernesse of Engadi.

¹⁹ Then came the Ziphites to Saul, to Gabaah sayinge: Dauid hydeth hym selfe fast by vs in stronge holdes that are in a thycket in the hyl of Hachilah on the ryght syde of the wyldernesse.

²⁸ Wherfore Saul returned from persecutyng Dauid, & went agaynst the Philistines. And therfore the place is called, Sela Mahelecoth. ²⁹ And then Dauid went thence and dwelt in strong holdes at Engadi.

⁵ Take awaye vngodlynes from the king, & his seat shalbe stablished wt ryghtuousnes

¹² If a prynce delyte iu lyes, all his seruauntes are vngodly.

⁹ Murtherers are there in the, that shede bloude, & eate vpon the hylles, and in the they vse vnhappynesse.

³ They make the kinge & the princes, to haue pleasure in their wickednes and lyes.
