¹ I do you to wyt brethren, of the grace of God, which is geuen in the congregacyons of Macedonia,

²³ Which when he was come, and had sene the grace of God, was gladd, and exhorted them all that wyth purpose of hert they woulde continually cleaue vnto the Lorde.

⁹ And a visyon appeared to Paule in the nyght. There stode a man of Macedonia, and prayed hym, saiynge: come into Macedonia, and helpe vs.

²⁶ For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certayne distribution vpon the pore saynctes, whiche are at Hierusalem.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me, was not in vaine, but I laboured more aboundantly then they al, not I but the grace of God which is with me.

² howe that the aboundaunce of theyr reioysynge is, that they are tryed with muche trybulacyon. And therto thoughe they were excedynge poore, yet haue they geuen excedynge richelye, and that in synglenesse. ³ For to theyr powers (I beare recorde) ye and beyonde theyr power, they were wyllynge of theyr owne accorde, ⁴ & prayed vs with great instaunce that we would receyue theyr benefyte, and suffer them to be partakers with other in mynystrynge to the saynctes. ⁵ And thys they dyd, not as we loked for: but gaue theyr owne selues fyrste to the Lorde, and after vnto vs by the wyl of God: ⁶ so that we coulde not but desyre Titus to accomplyshe the same beneuolence amonge you also, euen as he had begonne. ⁷ Nowe therfore, as ye are ryche in al partties in fayth, in worde, in knoweledge, in all feruentnes, and in loue, which ye haue to vs: euen so se that ye be plenteous in thys beneuolence.

² for I knowe your redynes of mynde whereof I boste my selfe vnto them of Macedonia, and saye that Achaia was prepared a yeare a go, and youre feruentnes hath prouoked manye.

⁴ lest parauenture yf they of Macedonia come with me, and fynde you vnprepared, the bost that I made in thys matter, shoulde be a shame to vs. I saye not vnto you.

¹² For the offyce of thys ministracyon, not onelye supplyeth the neede of the saynctes: but also is aboundaunte herein, that for thys laudable mynystrynge, thankes myghte be geuen to God of many,

⁹ And when I was present with you, and had nede, I was greuous to no man, for that whiche was lackynge vnto me, the brethren whiche came from Macedonia, supplyed: and in all thynge I kept my selfe that I shoulde not be greuous to you, & so wyl I kepe my selfe.

⁸ Vnto me the leaste of all sainctes is this grace geuen, that I shoulde preache amonge the Gentyls the vnsearcheable ryches of Christe,

²⁹ Wherin I also labour and stryue euen as farforth as his workinge worketh in me mightely.

⁷ so that ye were an ensample to al that beleue in Macedonia and Achaia. ⁸ For from you sounded out the worde of the Lord, not in Macedonia & in Achaia onelye: but your fayth also which ye haue vnto God, sprede her selfe abrode in all quarters, so greatlye that it neadeth not vs to speake any thynge at all.

¹⁰ Yea and that thing verelye ye do vnto all the brethren, which are thorowout all Macedonia. We beseche you brethren, that ye encrease more and more,
