⁷ And they slue the sonnes of Zedekiah before hys eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and fettered him, and caried him to Babylon.

¹⁶ and went & sat her out of syghte a great waye, as it were a bow shote of: for she said: I wyl not se the lad dye. And she sat doune out of syghte, and lyfte vp her voyce and wepte.

³⁴ For howe can I goo vnto my father, and the lad not wyth me: lest I shulde sea the wretchednes that shall come on my father.

³⁴ that thou shalt be cleane besyde thy selfe for the syghte of thyne eyes which thou shalt se.

²¹ But the Philistines toke hym and put out his eyes, and brought him doune to Gaza, and bounde hym wyth fetters And he was made to grynde in the pryson house,

¹¹ Wherfore the Lorde brought vpon them the Capitaynes of the hoste of the Kynge of Assur, which toke Manasseh in an holde and bounde him with chaynes & caryed hym to Babylon.

⁶ Againste hym came Nabuchodonozor kynge of Babilon & bounde him in fetters to carye him to Babilon.

¹⁰ Such as sat in darkenesse and in the shadow of death, beyng fast bounde in mysery and yron. ¹¹ Because they were not obedient to the commaundementes of God, but lightely regarded the counsayll of the moost hyghest.

⁸ To bynde their Kynges in cheynes, and their nobles with lynckes of yron.

³⁰ Wryte this man amonge the outlawes, for no prosperite shall this man haue all hys lyfe longe. Nether shall eny of his sede be so happie, as to syt vpon the seate of Dauid, and to beare rule in Iuda.

⁴ As for Zedekiah the Kynge of Iuda, he shall not be able to escape the Chaldees, but surely he shal come into the handes of the kynge of Babylon: whiche shal speake with him mouth to mouth, and one of them shal loke another in the face. ⁵ And Zedekiah shalbe caryed vnto Babylon, and there shall he be, vnto the tyme that I vyset him, sayeth the Lorde. But yf thou takest in hand to fight against the Caldees, thou shalt not prospere.

³ and thou shalt not escape his handes, but shalt be led awaye presoner, and delyuered into hys power. Thou shalt loke the kinge of Babylon in the face, and he shal speake wt the mouth to mouth, & then shalt thou go to Babylon.

⁶ So the king of Babilon caused the children of Zedekiah and all the nobles of Iuda be slayne, before hys face at Reblath. ⁷ And made Zedekiahs eyes to be put out, and bounde him with chaynes and sent him to Babilon.

¹⁰ The kynge of Babylon also caused Zedekiahs sonnes to be slayne before his face, yee & put all the princes of Iuda to death at Reblath. ¹¹ Moreouer he put out the eyes of Zedekiah, caused hym to be bounde with chynes, to be caried vnto Babylon: and lett hym lye in preson, tyll he dyed.

²⁷ The king shal mourne, the Princes shalbe clothed with heuinesse, and the handes of the people in the lande shall tremble for feare. I wyll do vnto them after theyr owne wayes, and according to theyr owne iudgementes wyll I iudge them, to learne them for to knowe, that I am the Lorde.

¹³ My lyne wyll I sprede oute vpon hym, & catche him in my net, & carye hym to Babylon, in the lande of the Caldees: whiche he shall not se, and yet shall he dye there. ¹⁴ As for al his helpers, & all hys hostes, that be aboute hym, I wyll scatre them towarde all the wyndes, and drawe out a sweard after them. ¹⁵ So when I haue scatred them amonge the Heathen, and strowed them in the landes, they shall knowe, that I am the Lorde. ¹⁶ But I wyll leaue a lytle nombre of them from the swearde, hunger and pestilence: to tell all theyr abhomynacyons amonge the Heathen, where they come, that they maye knowe, howe that I am the Lorde.

¹⁶ As truely as I lyue sayeth the Lorde God: He shal dye at Babylon, in the place where the kyng dwelleth, that made him King: whose othe he hath despysed, and whose couenaunte he hath broken. ¹⁷ Neyther shall Pharao wyth his greate hoste and multitude of people, maynteyne him in the warre: when they cast vp dyches, and set vp bulworches to destroye much people. ¹⁸ For seyng he hath despysed the othe, and broken the couenaunt (where as he yet gaue his hande thervpon) and done all these thynges, he shall not escape. ¹⁹ Therfore thus sayeth the Lorde God: As truely as I lyue. I wil bring myne othe that he hath despised, & my couenaunt that he hath broken, vpon his owne heade. ²⁰ I will cast my net aboute hym, and catche him in my yarne. To Babylon wil I carye him, there wyll I punyshe him, because of the greate offence that he made me.
