⁵ And is not myne house so with God? in that he hath made wyth me an euerlastyng couenaunt perfecte in all poyntes: and in that he shall fulfyll all that is healthe some vnto me, and all my desyres therto.

³⁵ And I wyl stere me vp a faythful priest that shal do as it is in myne hert & in my mynd. And I wyl buylde him a sure house. And he shall walke before myne anoynted for euer.

The wonderous geuer of councel, the myghty God, the euerlastinge father, the prynce of peace, ⁷ he shall make no ende to encrease the kyngedome and peace, and shall sytte vpon the seate of Dauid, and in his kyngedome, to set vp the same, to stablyshe it wyth equyte and ryghteousnesse, from thence forth for euermore. ³ Encline youre eares, & come vnto me, take hede, & your soule shall lyue. For I wyll make an euerlastynge couenaunt wyth you, euen the sure mercyes of Dauid.

⁸ For I the Lorde, whiche loue right and hate robberye (though it were offred me) shal make their worckes of faithfulnes, and make an euerlastinge couenaunt with them.

⁴⁰ And I wyll set vp an euerlastinge couenaunt with them, Namely, that I will neuer ceasse to do them good, and that I will put my feate in ther hertes so that they shall not runne awaye from me.

²⁵ Therfore thus saieth the Lorde: Yf I haue made no couenaunt with day and night, and geuen no statute vnto heauen and earth: ²⁶ then will I also cast awaye the sede of Dauid my seruaunt: so that I will take no prynce oute of his sede, to rule the posterite of Abraham, Isaac and Iacob. But yet I will turne again their captiuite, and be mercyfull vnto them.

²⁶ Moreouer, I will make a bonde of peace wyth theym, whiche shalbe vnto them an euerlastinge couenaunt. I will satle them also, and multiply them, my Sanctuary wyll I set amonge them for euermore.

¹¹ At that tyme wyll I buylde agayne the tabernacle of Dauid, that is fallen downe and hedge vp hys gappes: and loke what is broken, I shall repayre it: Yee I shall buylde it agayne, as it was a fore tyme,

³⁴ As concernyng that he raysed hym vp from death, nowe no more to returne to corrupcion, he sayed on thys wyse. The holy promyses made to Dauid, I wyll geue them faythfully to you.

⁶ I haue planted, Apollo watred: but God gaue the increase. ⁷ So then neyther is he that planteth anye thinge neyther he that watreth: but God that gaue the increase.
