¹⁵ And Dauid raygned ouer all Israel, and executed ryght and iustice vnto all hys people.

⁵ In Hebron he raygned ouer Iuda seuen yere & syxe monethes. And in Ierusalem he raygned thyrtye & thre yeares ouer all Israell and Iuda.

³ The God of Israel spake vnto me, and the strength of Israel sayde, he that beareth rule ouer men, he that ruleth iustly in the feare of God. ⁴ And he shalbe as the mornynge lyght, when the sunne shyneth in a mornynge in whyche are no cloudes to lette the bryghtnesse, and as the grasse of the earthe is by the vertue of the raygne.

¹⁴ And Dauid raigned ouer all Israel, and dyd right and equyte vnto al his people.

⁶ Thy seate (O God) endureth for euer: the scepter of thy kyngdome is a right scepter. ⁷ Thou hast loued righteousnesse, & hated iniquitie: wherfore God (which is thy God) hath anoynted the with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy felowes.

² That he maye gouerne thy people accordynge vnto ryght and defende thy poore.

² When I maye get a conuenyent tyme, I shall iudge accordyng vnto ryght.

⁷¹ As he was folowynge the yewes greate with yonge, he toke him, that he myghte fede Iacob hys people, & Israel hys enherytance. ⁷² So he fedde them wyth a fayethfull and true herte, and ruled them wyth diligence of of his power.

¹⁴ Righteousnes and equite is the habitacion of thy seate, mercy and truethe go before thy face.

¹ A Psalme of Dauid. My songe shalbe of mercye and iudgment yea vnto the, O Lord wyll I synge. ² O let me haue vnderstandynge in the way of Godlynesse vntyll the tyme that thou come vnto me: and so shall I walcke in my house wyth an innocent herte. ³ I wyl take no wycked thynge in hande, I hate the synne of vnfaythfulnesse, it shal not cleaue vnto me. ⁴ A frowarde harte shall departe fro me I wyll not knowe a wicked personne. ⁵ Who so preuely sclaundereth hys neyghboure. hym wyl I destroye: Who so hath a prowd loke and an hye stomacke, I may not awaye with him. ⁶ Myne eyes shal loke for such as be faythfull in the lande, that they maye dwell wyth me: and who so leadeth a godly liue, shall be my seruaunt. ⁷ There shall no disceatfull personne dwell in my house he that telleth lyes shall not tary in my syght. ⁸ I shalll soone destroye all the vngodlie of the lande, that all wycked doers maye be roted out of the cytie of the Lord.

⁷ he shall make no ende to encrease the kyngedome and peace, and shall sytte vpon the seate of Dauid, and in his kyngedome, to set vp the same, to stablyshe it wyth equyte and ryghteousnesse, from thence forth for euermore. This shall the gelousy of the Lorde of hostes brynge to paste.

¹⁵ Thinckest thou to raigne, now that thou prouokest me to wrath wyth the Cedre trees? Dyd not thy father eate and drincke, and prospere well, as longe as he dealt wt equite and ryghtuousnesse? ¹⁶ Yee when he helped the oppressed and poore to their ryght then prospered he well. From whence came this, but onlye because he had me before hys eyes, sayth the Lorde.

⁵ Beholde, the tyme commeth, sayeth the Lorde, that I will rayse vp the ryghtuous braunche of Dauid, which shall beare rule, and discusse matters wyth wysdome, & shall sett vp equyte & rightuousnes agayne in the earth. ⁶ In hys tyme shall Iuda be saued and Israell shall dwell without feare. And thys is the name that they shall call hym: euen the Lorde oure ryghtuous maker.

¹⁵ Hate the euil, and loue the good: set vp right agayne in the porte: & (no doute) the Lorde God of hostes shal be mercyful vnto the remnaunt of Ioseph,

²⁴ but se that equite flowe as the water, and ryghtuousnesse as a mightie streame.
