⁸ I was left there my selfe alone, and sawe this greate vision, so longe till there remayned no more strengthe within me: yea I lost my coloure cleane, I waited awaye, and my strength was gone.

²⁴ & taried behind hym selfe alone. And ther wresteled a man wyth him vnto the breaking of the day. ²⁵ And when he sawe that he could not preuayle agaynste hym, he smote hym vnder the thye, & the senowe of Iacobs thye shranke as he wrestled with him

³¹ And as he went ouer Pheniel the sonne rose vpon him, & he halted vpon his thye:

³ Then Moyses sayed: I wyll go hence, and se thys greate syghte howe it commeth that the bush burneth not.

²⁸ Thus farre extende the wordes. Neuertheles I Daniel was so vexed in my thoughtes, that my countenaunce chaunced, but the wordes I kepte styl in my herte.

⁷ I sawe him drawe nye vnto the ramme, beynge very fearce vpon him, yea he gaue him suche a stroke, that he brake his two hornes: Neyther had the ramme so much strength as to stande before him: but he cast him doune, trodde him vnder his fete: and no man was able to delyuer the ramme out of his power.

²⁷ Vpon this was I Daniel very fainte, so that I lay sicke certayne dayes: but when I rose vp, I wente aboute the kinges busynes, and marueled at the vision, neuertheles no man knewe of it.

¹⁶ When I heare thys, my bodye is vexed, my lyppes tremble at the voyce therof, my bones corruppe, I am afrayed where I stande. O that I myght rest in the day of trouble, that I myght go vp vnto oure people, whiche are alredye prepared.

⁶ And when the disciples hearde that, they fell on theyr faces and were soore afrayed.

⁶ And yet he wyste not what he sayde, for they were afrayde.

³² Beholde, the houre draweth nye, and is all readye come that ye shalbe scatered euerye man hys wayes, and shall leaue me alone. And yet am I not alone. For the father is with me.

² I knowe a man in Christe aboue .xiiij. yeares agone (whether he were in the bodye I cannot tell, or whether he were oute of the bodye I cannot tell, God knoweth) whiche was taken vp into the third heauen. ³ And I knowe the same man (whether in the bodye, or oute of the bodye, I cannot tell, God knoweth)

⁷ And lest I shoulde be exalted out of measure thorowe the aboundaunce of reuelacions there was geuen vnto me vnquyetnes of the fleshe, the messenger of Satan to buffete me: because I shoulde no be exalted oute of measure.

¹⁷ And when I sawe hym, I fell at hys fete, euen as dead. And he layde hys ryght hande vpon me, saiynge vnto me: feare not, I am the fyrste, and the laste,
