⁶ Therfore heare my wordes, & pondre the sentence of my lyppes.

⁷ And when it was tolde Ioatham, he went & stode in the toppe of mount Garizim, & lyfte vp hys voyce & called, & sayd vnto them: Herken vnto me you citezens of Sichem, that God may herken vnto you.

² O heare my wordes, and amende youre selues. ³ Suffre me a litle that I may speake also, and then laugh my wordes to scorne, yf ye wyll.

¹ Wherfore heare my wordes (O Iob) and herken vnto me all, that I wyll saye: ² Beholde, I wyl open my mouthe, and my tonge shall speake out of my chawes. ³ My herte shall ordre my wordes a ryghte, & my lyppes shall talke of pure wysdome.

² Heare my wordes (O ye wyse men) herken vnto me, ye that haue vnderstandynge.

⁶ Geue eare, for I will speake of great matters, and open my lyppes to tell thinges that be right. ⁷ For my throte shalbe talking of the trueth, & my lyppes abhorre vngodlinesse.
