⁷ And now that I am full of paine, and al that I haue destroyed

⁶ I am wery of gronyng euery nyght wash I my bedde, and water my couche wyth my teares. ⁷ My countenance is chaunged for verye inwarde grefe. I consume awaye I haue so many enemyes.

¹¹ My sonne, despise not the chastening of the Lorde, neyther faynte when thou arte rebuked of hym. ¹² For whome the Lord loueth hym he chasteneth: & yet deliteth in him euen as a father in his owne sonne.

⁴ The Lorde God hath geuen me a wel learned tunge, so that I can comforte them whiche are troubled, yea & that in due ceason. He waked myne eare vp by tymes in the mornynge (as the scolemasters do) that I myght herken.
