¹³ He hath put my brethren farre awaye from me, and suche as were of myne acquauntaunce, are become straungers vnto me.

²¹ Euen so are ye also come vnto me: but now that ye se my misery, ye are afrayed. ²² Dyd I desyre you, to come hether? Or, to geue me eny of youre substaunce? ²³ To delyuer me from the enemyes hande, or to saue me from the power of the myghtye?

⁷ And now that I am full of paine, and al that I haue destroyed

¹¹ I am become a verye reprofe amonge all myne enemyes, my neyghbours and they of myne owne aquayntaunce are afraied of me they that se me in the streate, conueye them selues fro me.

¹¹ My louers and frendes stande lokynge vpon my trouble, and my kynsmen are gone afarre of.

⁸ I am become a straunger vnto my brethren, and an aleaunt vnto my mothers chyldren.

²⁰ The rebuke breaketh my herte, and maketh me heuy: I loke for some to haue pytye vpon me, but ther is no man: and for some to comforte me, but I fynde none.

⁸ Thou hast put awaye myn acquaintance farre fro me, and made me to be abhorred of them: I am so faste in pryson, that I can not get forth.

¹⁸ My louers, and frendes hast thou put awaye fro me, and turned awaye myne acquayntaunce.

⁵⁶ Al this was done that the scriptures of the Prophetes myght be fulfylled.
