⁴ The same daye be turned to darcknesse, & not regarded of God from aboue, nether be shyned vpon with lyght:

²² And Moyses stretched forth hys hand vnto heauen, & ther was a thycke darckenes vpon al the land of Egipt .iij. dayes long, ²³ so that no man sawe another neither rose vp from the place wher he was by the space of .iij. dayes, but al the chyldren of Israel had light wher they dwelled.

¹² and a Land whyche the Lord thy God careth for. The eyes of the lord thy God are alwayes vpon it, from the beginnyng of the yere vnto the latter end of the yere.

² a darcke daye, a gloomynge daye, a cloudye daye, yea & a stormy daye, lyke as the mornynge spredeth oute vpon the hylles: Namely, a great and myghtye people; suche as haue not bene sence the begynnynge, neither shal be after them for euer more.

¹⁸ Wo be vnto them that desyre the daye of the Lorde, Wherfore wold ye haue it? As for the daye of the Lorde, it shal be darcke and not cleare:

⁴⁵ From the syxte houre was there darcknes ouer all the lande vnto the ninthe houre.

²⁰ When at the laste nether sunne nor starre in manye dayes appeared, and no smal tempest laye vpon vs, all hope that we shoulde be saued, was then taken awaye.

¹⁰ And the fyfte angel poured out his vial vpon the seate of the beast, & his kingdome waxed darcke, & they gnew their tounges for sorowe,
