¹⁹ When a womans naturall course of bloud runneth, she shalbe put aparte .vij. dayes: & whosoeuer toucheth her shalbe vncleane vnto the euen.

² speake vnto the chyldren of Israel and say: when a woman hath conceyued, and hath borne a man chylde, she shalbe vncleane .vij. dayes: euen in lyke maner as when she is put apart in tyme of her natural dysease.

⁴ And she shall contynue in the bloude of her puryfyenge .xxxiij. dayes, she shal touche no halowed thyng nor come into the sanctuary, vntyll the tyme of her, purifyenge be out.

¹⁸ If a man lye wt a woman in tyme of her natural dysease and vncouer her secrettes and open her fountayne, & she also open the fountayne of her bloud, they shal both peryshe from among the people.

⁸ Heth. Ierusalem synned euer more & more, therfore is she come in decaye. All they that had her in honour, despyse her: for they haue sene her fylthynesse. Yee she sygheth, and is a shamed of her selfe. ⁹ Teth. Her skyrtes are defyled, she remembred not what wolde folowe: therfore is her fall so greate, and there is no man to comforte her. O Lord, consydre my trouble, for myne enemye hath the vpperhande.

¹⁷ Phe. Sion casteth out her handes, and there is no man to conforte her. The Lord hath layed the enemyes rounde aboute Iacob, and Ierusalem is as it were a menstruous woman, in the myddest of them.

¹⁷ O thou sonne of man, when the house of Israell dwelt vpon their owne grounde they defyled them selues with their owne wayes and ymagynacyons: so that in my syght theyr waye was lyke the vnclennesse of a menstrous woman.

¹⁹ For out of the hert come euil thoughtes, murther, breakyng of wedlocke, whoredom, thefte, false, witnes bearing, blasphemye.
