⁸ And Aaron shall cast lottes ouer the twoo gootes: one lotte for the Lorde, and another for a scapegoote.

⁵⁵ Notwythstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot, & accordinge to the names of the tribes of theyr, fathers they shall enheritt:

⁵⁴ And ye shall deuyde the enheritaunce of the land by lot amonge youre kynredes, and geue to the mo the moare enheritaunce, and to the fewer the lesse enherytaunce. And youre enheritaunce shalbe in the trybes of youre fathers, in the place where euery mans lott falleth.

¹⁰ And Iosua caste lottes for them in Siloh before the Lorde, and there he deuided the land vnto the chyldren of Israel, to eche their porcion. ¹¹ And the lotte of the trybe of the children of Beniamin came vp accordinge to their kynredes. And the coastes of their lot came out betwene the chyldren of Iuda, and the children of Ioseph.

⁴¹ And Saule sayde vnto the Lorde God of Israell: geue perfecte knoweledge. And Saule and Ionathas were caught, & the people skaped free. ⁴² Then sayde Saul, cast lottes betwene me & Ionathas my sonne. And Ionathas was caughte.

³³ The lotts are caste into the lappe, but there fal standeth in the Lorde.

²⁹ This is the lande with his porcions, which ye shall dystribute vnto the trybes of Israel, sayeth the Lorde God.

⁷ And they sayde one to another: come, lett vs cast lottes: that we maye knowe, for whose cause we are thus troubled. And so they cast lottes, and the lot fell vpon Ionas.

²³ And they apoynted two, Ioseph called Barsabas (whose syr name was Iustus) and Mathias. ²⁴ And they praysed saiynge: thou Lorde whyche knowest the hertes af all men, shewe whether of these two thou hast chosen, ²⁵ that the one may take the roume of this mynystracion and Apostleshippe, from that which Iudas by transgression fel, that he myght go to his owne place. ²⁶ And they gaue forth theyr lottes, and the lot fell on Mathias, and he was counted with the eleuen Apostles.
