³ If ye shall walke in myne ordinaunces & kepe my commaundementes & do them,

⁴ but do after my iudgementes, & kepe myne ordynaunces, to walke therin: for I am the Lorde youre God. ⁵ Kepe therfore myne ordynaunces, and my iudgementes whyche yf a man doo he shall lyue therby: for I am the Lord.

¹² If ye shall herken vnto these lawes & shall obserue and do them, then shal the Lord thy God kepe poyntment with the and the mercy which he sware vnto thy fathers

¹³ If thou shalt herken therfore vnto mi commoundementes which I commaund you this day, that ye loue the Lord your God & serue him with all your hertes and with all youre soules: ¹⁴ then he wyll giue rayne vnto youre lande in due ceason, both the first rayne & the later, and thou shalte gather in thy corne thy wyne and thyne oyle. ¹⁵ And he wyl sende grasse in thy feldes for thi cattel: & thou shalt eate and fyll thy selfe.

¹ If thou shalt herken dilygently vnto the voyce of the Lorde thy God, to obserue and to do al hys commaundementes which I commaunde the thys day. The Lord wyl set the vp on hye aboue all nacions of the erth. ² And al these blessinges shal come on the and ouertake the, yf thou shalt herken vnto the voyce of the Lorde thy God. ³ Blessed shalt thou be in the towne and blessed in the feldes, ⁴ blessed shalbe the frute of thy body, the frute of thy grounde and the frute of thy catell, the frute of thyne oxen, and thy flockes of shepe, ⁵ blessed shall thyne aulmery be and thy store. ⁶ Blessed shalt thou be, both when thou goest out, and blessed when thou comest in. ⁷ The Lord shal smyte thyne enemyes that ryse agaynst the before thy face. They shall come out agaynst the one way, & flee before the .vij. wayes. ⁸ The Lord shall commaunde the blessynge to be wyth the in thy store houses & in al that thou settest thyne hande to, and wyll blesse the in the lande whyche the Lorde thy God geueth the. ⁹ The Lord shall make the an holy people vnto him self, as he hath sworne vnto the: yf thou shalt kepe the commandementes of the Lord thy God and walke in his wayes. ¹⁰ And al nacions of the erth shall se that thou arte called after the name of the Lorde, and they shalbe aferde of the. ¹¹ And the Lord shal make the plentuous in goodes, in the frute of thy body, in the frute of thy catell and in the frute of thy grounde, in the land whych the Lord sware vnto thy fathers to geue the. ¹² The Lord shall open vnto the hys good treasure, euen the heauen, to geue rayne vnto thy lande in due ceason and to blesse al the laboures of thyne hande. And thou shalt lende vnto many nacions, but shalt not nede to borowe thy selfe. ¹³ And the Lord shall set the before and not behynde, & thou shalt be aboue only and not beneth: yf that thou herken vnto the commaundementes of the Lorde thy God which I commaunde the this day to kepe and to do them. ¹⁴ And se that thou bowe not from any of these wordes which I commaunde the this daye ether to the ryght hande or to the lefte, that thou woldest goo after straunge goddes to serue them.

¹⁴ Beholde I walke thys daye, by the waye of all the worlde: call ye to mynde in all your hertes and in all your soules, that nothynge hath fayled of all the good thynges whiche the Lord your God promysed you. All are come to passe, and nothyng hath fayled therof. ¹⁵ And as all good thynges are come vpon you, which the Lorde youre God promysed you: so shall the Lorde brynge vpon you all euyll vntyl he haue destroyed you from of thys good lande which the Lorde your God hath geuen you

¹ And the angell of the Lorde came vp from Galgall to Bocim, and sayde, I broughte you oute of Egypt and haue brought you vnto the lande whiche I sware vnto your fathers. And I sayde that I wolde neuer breake myne appoyntment wyth you, ² but ye shulde haue made no couenaunt with the enhabytours of thys lande, ye shuld haue broken doune theyr aultares: But ye haue not obeyed my voyce, why haue ye thys done?

¹² So I gaue them vp vnto their owne hertes luste, and let them folowe theyr owne ymaginacions. ¹³ O that my people wolde obeye me, for if Israel wolde walke in my wayes: ¹⁴ I should soone put doune their enemyes, and turne myne hande againste their aduersaries. ¹⁵ The haters of the Lord should mysse Israel, but their tyme shoulde endure for euer. ¹⁶ He should feade them with the finest wheat floure, and satisfye them with hony out of the stony rocke.

¹⁹ Is it not so? If ye be louynge and obedyent, ye shall enioye the best thynge that groweth in the lande.

¹⁸ Yf thou wilt now regarde my commaundement, thy welthynes shalbe as the water streame, and thy ryghteousnes as the waues flowynge in the sea. ¹⁹ Thy sede shalbe lyke as the sande in the sea, and the frute of thy body, lyke the grauel stones therof. Thy name shal not be roted oute, nor destroyed before me.

²⁴ Whosoeuer heareth of me these sayinges and doethe the same, I wyll lyken hym vnto a wyse man which buylt hys housse on a rocke ²⁵ and aboundaunce of rayne descended, and the flouddes came, and the windes blew and bet vpon that same housse, and it fell not because it was grounded on the rocke.

⁷ that is to say, prayse, honoure and immortalytye, to them whyche continue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe. ⁸ But vnto them that are rebellious and disobey the trueth, and folowe iniquitie, shall come indignacion and wrath, ⁹ tribulacion and anguishe, vpon the souls of euerye man that doeth euyll: of the Iewe fyrst, and also of the gentyll. ¹⁰ To euery man that doth good, shall come prayse, honoure, and peace, to the Iewe fyrst, and also to the gentil.

¹⁴ Blessed are they that do his commaundementes that theyr power maye be in the tree of lyfe, & maye enter in thorowe the gates into the cite.
