³¹ And the Lord opened the eyes of Balam that he sawe the angel of the Lord standyng in the waye, wyth hys swerd drawen in hys hande. And he bowed him selfe & fel flatt on hys face.

¹⁹ And God opened her eyes and she sawe a well of water. And she went & fylled the bottel wyth water, and gaue the boye drynke.

⁸ And Moses bowed himselfe to the earth quickly & worshipped

⁴ and the manne whose eye is open hath sayed: he hath sayd whych heareth the words of God & seeth the visions of the almyghty, whiche falleth downe: & hys eyes are opened.

¹⁶ and he hath saied that heareth the wordes of God & hath the knowledge of the most hie & beholdeth the vision of the almyghtye, and when he falleth downe hath his eyes opened

¹⁷ And Eliseus prayed & sayde: Lord open the eyes of the younge man, & he sawe. And beholde, the mountayne was ful of horses and charettes of fyre rounde aboute Elizeus. ¹⁸ And when the soudyars came doune to him: Elizeus prayed vnto the Lorde & sayde. Smyte thys people wyth blyndnesse. And he smote them wyth blyndnes accordyng to the desyre of Elizeus. ¹⁹ Then Elizeus said vnto them this is not the waye, nor thys is not the toune: But folowe me, and I wyll bryng you to the man ye seke. And he led them to Samaria. ²⁰ When they were come to Samaria, Elyzeus sayde: Lorde, open theyr eyes & let them se. And the Lorde opened theyr eyes that they sawe. And behold they were in the myddes of Samaria

¹⁶ And Dauid lyfte vp hys eyes & saw the Aungel of the Lorde stand betwene the earth and heauen with a drawen swerde in his hande stretched oute towarde Ierusalem. Then fel Dauid & the elders of Israel clothed in sacke vpon their faces.

²⁰ O Lorde set a scholemaster ouer them, that the Heathen maye knowe theim selfes to be but men. Selah.

¹⁶ But their eyes were holden that they coulde not knowe him.

³¹ And their eyes were opened and they knewe him: and he vanyshed out of their sight.

⁶ But assone as he had sayd vnto them: I am he, they went backwardes, and fell to the grounde.

¹⁸ to open theyr eyes, that they myght turne from darckenes to lyght, and from the power of Satan vnto God: that they maye receiue forgeuenes of synnes, and inheritaunce amonge them whyche are sanctyfyed by fayth in me.
