¹⁶ And the .xiiij. daye of the first moneth shalbe passeouer vnto the Lord

² This moneth shal be your chiefe moneth: euen of the fyrst moneth of the yeare shal it be vnto you. ³ Speake ye vnto all the felowshyp of Israell saying: That they take the .x. day of thys moneth to euery houshold a shepe. ⁴ If the houshold be to few for a shepe, then let hym & his neighboure that is next vnto his house, take accordynge to the numbre of the soules, & counte vnto a shepe accordynge to euery mans eatynge. ⁵ A shepe without spot & a male of one yere olde shal it be, and from amonge the lambes and the gootes shal ye take it. ⁶ And ye shall kepe hym in, vntyll the .xiiij. daye of the same moneth. And euery man of the multitude of Israel shal kyl hym aboute euen. ⁷ And they shall take of the bloud & strike it on the two side postes & on the vpperdore post of the houses, wherin they eate hym. ⁸ And they shal eate the flesh the same nyghte, rost with fyre and with vnleuended bread, & wt sowre herbes they shall eate it. ⁹ Se that ye eate not therof rawe ner soden in water, but rost with fyre: both the head, fete, & purtenance together. ¹⁰ And se that ye let nothyng of it remayne vnto the mornyng: yf ought remayne burne it wyth fyre. ¹¹ Of thys maner shal ye eate it: with youre loynes gyrded, and shoes on youre fete, and your staues in your handes. And ye shal eate it in haste, for it is the Lordes passeouer,

¹⁸ The fyrst moneth & the .xiiij. daye of the moneth at euen, ye shall eate swete breed vnto the .xxi. daye of the moneth at euen agayne.

⁴³ And the Lord sayd vnto Moses & Aaron: thys is the maner of Passeouer; there shal no straunger eate therof, ⁴⁴ but all the seruauntes that are bought for money shall ye cyrcumcyse, and then let them eate therof. ⁴⁵ A straunger and a hyerd seruaunte shalnot eate therof. ⁴⁶ In one house shal it be eaten. Ye shall carie none of the flesh out at the doores: more ouer se that ye breke not a bone therof. ⁴⁷ All the multitude of the chyldren of Israel shall obserue it. ⁴⁸ If a straunger dwel among you, and wyl holde Passeouer vnto the Lorde, let him circumcyse al that be males, and then let hym come and obserue it, and be taken as one that is borne in the lande. No vncircumcised person shal eate therof: ⁴⁹ one maner of law shalbe vnto them that are borne in the lande, and vnto the straungers that dwell amonge you.

⁵ The .xiiij. daye of the fyrst moneth at euen is the Lordes Passeouer. ⁶ And the .xv. daye of the same moneth is the feast of swete bred vnto the Lorde .vij. dayes ye must eate vnleuended bread. ⁷ The fyrst day shalbe an holy feaste vnto you, so that ye maye do no laborious worke therin. ⁸ But ye shall offer sacrifyces vnto the Lorde .vij. dayes, and the .vij. daye also shalbe an holy feast, so that ye maye do no laborious worke therin.

³ euen the .xiiij. daye of thys moneth at euen, they shall kepe it in hys season, accordynge to all the ordinaunces and maners therof. ⁴ And Moses bad the chyldren of Israell that they shoulde offer Passeouer, ⁵ and they offered Passeouer the .xiiij. daye of the fyrst moneth at euen in the wyldernesse of Sinai: and dyd accordynge to all that the Lorde commaunded Moses.

¹ Obserue the moneth of Abib and offer passeouer vnto the Lorde thy God. For in the moneth of Abib, the Lord thy God broughte the oute of Egypte by nyghte. ² Thou shalt therefore offer passe ouer vnto the Lord thi God, and shepe & oxen in the place which the Lord shall chose to make hys name dwell there. ³ Thou shalte eate no leauened breade therwyth: but shalt eate therwyth the breade of tribulation .vij. dayes longe. For thou camest out of the land of Egipt in haste, that thou maist remembre the day when thou camest out of the land of Egipt all dayes of thy life. ⁴ And se that there be no leuened bread sene in al thy costes .vij. daies longe, and that there remayne nothynge of the flesh which thou hast offred the first day at euen, vntyl the mornyng. ⁵ Thou mayst not offer passeouer in any of thy cityes which the Lord thy god geueth th ⁶ But in the place whiche the Lord thy God shall chose to make his name dwell in, there thou shalt offer passeouer at euen about the goyng downe of the sunne, euen in the ceason that thou camest out of Egypt. ⁷ And thou shalt seeth & eate it in the place whyche the Lorde thy God hath chosen, & depart on the morow & gette the vnto thy tente. ⁸ Syxe dayes thou shalt eate swetebreade, and the seuenth daye is for the people to come togither to the Lord thy God, that thou maist do no worcke.

²¹ Vpon the .xiiij. daye of the fyrste moneth ye shall kepe. Easter. Seuen dayes shall the feast contynue wherin there shall no sower ner leuened bred be eaten. ²² Vpon the same daye shall the prynce geue for hym selfe and all the people of the lande, a bullocke for a synoffrynge. ²³ And in the feast of the seuen dayes he shall offre euery daye a bullocke and a ram, that are without blemish for a burntoffrynge vnto the Lorde: and an he gaote daylye for a synofferynge. ²⁴ For the meatoffrynges, he shall geue euer an Ephah to a bullocke, an Ephah to a ram, and an Hin of oyle to an Ephah.

² Ye know that after two dayes shalbe easter, and the sonne of man shalbe delyuered to be crucifyed.

¹⁷ The fyrst day of swete bread the disciples came to Iesus sayinge vnto hym: where wylt thou that we prepare for the to eate the paschall lambe?

⁷ Then came the daye of swete bread when necessyte the easterlambe muste be offered. ⁸ And he sent Peter and Ihon saiynge: go & prepare vs the easterlambe, that we may eate.

³ and because he sawe that it pleased the Iewes he proceaded forther, and toke Peter also. Then were the dayes of swete bread. ⁴ And when he had caught hym, he put hym in pryson, & deliuered hym to .iiij. quaternions of soudyers to be kept, entendynge after Easter to bryng hym forth to the people.

⁷ Pourge therfore the olde leuen, that ye may be new dowe, as ye are swete bread. For Christ oure easterlambe is offered vp for vs. ⁸ Therfore let vs kepe holy daye, not wyth olde leuen, neither with the leuen of malycyousnes and wyckednes, but with the swete bread of purenes and trueth.
