¹² O geue me the comforte of thy helpe agayne, and stablish me with thy sprete.

² O that I were as I was in the monethes by past, & in the daies when God preserued me: ³ when his light shyned vpon my head: when I went after the same lyght and shininge euen thorowe the darckenesse.

⁵ But my trust is in thy mercy, & my herte is ioyfull in thy sauynge health.

⁵ Oh ordre thou my goinges in thy pathes: that my fote steppes slippe not.

¹³ Kepe the seruaunt also from presumptuous synnes, lest they get the dominion ouer me: so shall I be vndefyled and innocent from the greate offence.

¹ To the chaunter, a Psalme of Dauid. Lorde, how ioyfull is the kyng in thy strength? O how exceadyng glad is he of thy sauynge health?

⁹ But let my soule be ioyfull in the Lorde, and reioyse in hys helpe.

⁶ Wylt thou not turne agayne and quycken vs, that thy people maye reioyse in the? ^{7 8} I wyll herken what the Lorde God wyll saye for he shall speake peace vnto hys people and to hys saynctes, that they turne not them selues vnto folyshnes.

¹¹⁶ O stablish me according vnto thy worde, that I maye lyue, & let me not be disapoynted of my hope. ¹¹⁷ Holde thou me vp, and I shall be safe: yea I shall euer be talkyng of thy statutes.

¹³³ Ordre my goinges after thy woorde that no wickednesse raygne in me.

¹⁰ be not afrayd, for I will be with the. Loke not behynde the, for I will be thy God, to strength the, helpe the, and to kepe the with this right hand of myne.

¹³ Reioyse ye heauens, and synge prayses thou earthe: Talke of ioye ye hylles, for God wyll comforte hys people, and haue mercye vpon hys, that be in trouble.

¹⁷ I am wroth with him for his couetousnes and lust, I smyte him, I hyd me, and am angry, when he turneth him selfe, & foloweth the by the waye of his owne herte. ¹⁸ But yf I may se his right way againe, I make hym whole, I lede him and restore him vnto them, whome he maketh ioyfull, and that were sorye for him.

¹⁰ And therfore I am ioyful in the Lorde, and my soule reioyseth in my God. For he shall put vpon me the garment of health, & couer me with the mantle of righteousnes. He shal decke me lyke a brydegrom, and as a bryde that hath her apparell vpon her.

²³ Now I knowe (O Lorde) that it is not in mans power to ordre hys owne wayes, or to rule hys owne steppes and goinges.

⁹ They departed from hence in heuynes, but wyth ioye wyll I brynge them hyther agayne. I wyl lede them by the ryuers of water in a straighte waye, where they shall not stomble: For I wyll be Israels father, and Ephraim shalbe my fyrstborne. ¹⁰ Heare the worde of the Lorde, O ye Gentyles, preache in the Iles that lye farre of, & saye: he that hath scatred Israell, shall gather hym together agayne, and shall kepe hym as a shepeherde doth hys flocke. ¹¹ For the Lorde shall redeme Iacob, and ryde hym from the hand of the vyolente. ¹² And they shal come, & reioyce vpon the hyll of Syon, and shall haue plenteousnes of goodes, whiche the Lorde shall geue them: Namely, wheate, wyne, oyle yonge shepe & calues. And theyr concyence shalbe as well watred garden, for they shal no more be hongrye. ¹³ Then shall the mayde reioyce in the daunce yea both yonge and olde folkes. For I wyll turne theyr sorowe into gladnesse, and wyll comforte them, and make them ioyfull, euen from theyr hertes. ¹⁴ I wyll poure plenteousnes vpon the hertes of the Priestes, and my people shalbe satisfyed with good thinges, saith the Lorde.

⁴⁷ And my sprete reioyceth in God my sauiour.

² by whom we haue a waye in thorowe fayeth vnto thys grace where in we stande & reioye in hope of the prayse that shalbe geuen of God. ³ Nether do we so only: but also we reioice in tribulacion. For we know that tribulation bryngeth pacience, ⁴ pacience bringeth experience, experience bringeth hope. ⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed, for the loue of God is sheed abroade in our hertes by the holye ghost, which he is geuen vnto vs. ⁶ For when we were yet weake accordyng to the tyme: Christ died for vs whiche were vngodly. ⁷ Yet scrace will anye man dye for a ryghtuouse man. Parauenture for a good man durst a man dye. ⁸ But God setteth out his loue that he hath to vs, seing that whil we wer yet sinners, Christ died for vs. ⁹ Much more then now (seing we are iustified in hys bloud) shall we be saued from wrath thorowe hym. ¹⁰ For yf when we were enemyes, we were reconciled to God by the death of hys sonne muche more, seynge we are reconciled, we shall be preserued by his lyfe. ¹¹ Not only so, but we also ioy in god by the means of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, by whom we haue receiued the attonment.

¹⁵ they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father.

⁴ What arte thou, that iudgeste another mans seruaunte? Whether he stande or fall that pertayneth vnto hys mayster: yea he shall stande. For God is able to make him stande.

¹⁷ The Lorde no doubte is a spiryte. And where the spiryte of the Lorde is, there is libertye.

⁶ Because ye are sonnes, God hath sent the spyryte of hys sonne into our hertes, whiche cryeth Abba father. ⁷ Wherfore now thou art not a seruaunt but a sonne. Yf thou be the sonne, thou arte also the heyre of God thorowe Christe.

⁵ whiche are kept by the power of God thorowe fayth, vnto saluacyon, whiche saluacyon is prepared all ready to be shewed in the laste tyme,

²⁴ Vnto hym that is able to kepe you, that ye fal not, and to preserue you fautles before the presence of hys glorye wyth ioye,
