²⁰ The God that is our sauiour, euen God the Lord by whome we escape death.

³⁹ Se nowe howe that I, I am he, and that there is no God but I. I can kyll and make a lyue, and what I haue smytten that I can heale: neyther is there that can deliuer anye man out of my hande.

⁶ The Lorde kylleth and maketh a lyue, bryngeth doune to hell & fetcheth vp agayne

¹³ For thou haste delyuered my soule from death, and my fete frome fallynge, that I may walke before God in the lyght of the lyuyng.

¹⁷ I wyll not dye, but lyue, and declare the workes of the lord. ¹⁸ The Lorde hath chastened and correcte me, but he hath not geuen me ouer vnto deathe.

²³ Kepe thyne herte wyth all dilygence, for there vpon hangeth lyfe.

² Beholde, God is my health, in whom I trust, & am not afraid. For the Lorde God is my strength and my praise, he also shalbe my refuge.

¹⁷ But Israell shalbe saued in the Lorde, which is the euerlastinge saluacion: They shall not come to shame ner confusyon, worlde without ende. ¹⁸ For thus sayeth the Lorde: euen he that created heauen, the God that made the earth, that fashioned it, & sett it forth: I haue not made it for naught, but I made it to be enhabited Euen I the Lorde, wythout whom there is none other. ¹⁹ I haue not spoken secretely, nether in darcke places of the earth. It is not for naught, that I sayde vnto the sede of Iacob: seke me. I am the Lord, which when I speake, declareth the thing that is ryghtuous & true. ²⁰ Let them be gathered and come together, lett them drawe nye hyther, that are escaped of the people: Haue they eny vnderstandynge, that set vp the stockes of their Idols, & praie vnto a God, that cannot helpe them? ²¹ Lett men drawe nye, let them come hyther, & aske councell one at another, and shewe forth: What is he, that tolde this before? or who spake of it, euer sence the begynnynge? Haue not I the Lorde done it: wythout whom there is none other God? the true God and Sauioure, and there is els none but I? ²² And therfore turne you vnto me (all ye endes of the earth) so shall ye be saued, for I am God, and there is els none.

⁷ Neuerthelesse I wyll haue mercy vpon the house of Iuda, and will saue them, euen thorow the Lord their God. But I wyll not delyuer them thorowe anye bowe, swearde, battel, horses, or horsemen.

²² Ye worshype, ye wote not what: we knowe what we worshype. For saluation cometh of the Iewes.

²¹ For lykewyse as the father rayseth vp the dead, and quickeneth them: euen so the sonne quickeneth whom he wyll.

²³ because that all men should honoure the sonne, euen as they honoured the father. He that honoureth not the sonne: the same honoureth not the father, which hath sent him.

²⁸ Maruaile not at this, the houre shall come in the which all that are in the graues, shal heare his voice, ²⁹ and shall come forth: they that haue done good, vnto the resurreccion of lyfe, and they that hath done euil, vnto the resurreccion of damnacion.

²⁵ Iesus sayed vnto her: I am the resurreccion and the lyfe. He that beleueth on me, ye though he were dead, yet shall he lyue. ²⁶ And whosoeuer lyueth, and beleueth on me, shall neuer dye. Beleuest thou thys?

¹⁴ For as muche then as the children were partetakers of fleshe and bloude, he also him selfe lyke wyse toke part wyth them, for to put doune thorowe death, that is to saye the deuyll, ¹⁵ and that he mighte delyuer them, which thorowe feare of death weare all theyr lyfe tyme in daunger of boundage.

¹⁸ and am alyue, and was dead. And beholde I am alyue for euer more and haue the kayes of hell, & of death.

¹ And I saw an angel come doune from heauen, hauing the keye of the bottomlesse pytte, & a greate cheyne in his hand.
