⁶ He shall be iudge amonge the Heathen, he shall fyl them wyth deade bodyes, and smite in sunder the heades ouer diuerse countres.

²⁴ Seing then that I haue called & ye refused it: I haue stretched out my hand, & no man regarded it, ²⁵ but all my counsayls haue ye despysed, & set my corrections at naught. ²⁶ Therfore shall I also laugh in your destruccion, & mocke you, when the thyng that ye feare cometh vpon you: ²⁷ euen when the thing that ye be afrayed of, falleth in sodenly lyke a storme, & your miseri like a tempest: yea, when trouble & heuinesse commeth vpon you. ²⁸ Then shal they call vpon me, but I will not heare: they shal seke me early, but thei shal not find me: ²⁹ And that because thei hated knowlege, & receyued not the feare of the Lord, ³⁰ but abhorred my counsail, & despised my correction. ³¹ Therfore shal they eate the frutes of their owne way, & be filled with their oune counsayls: ³² for the turning away of the vnwyse shal sley them, & the prosperitie of foles shalbe their owne destruccion. ³³ But who so harkeneth vnto me shal dwel safely, and haue ynough without any feare of euell.

²⁷ Agayne, when the wycked man turneth awaye from his wickednesse, that he hath done, & doth the thinge whiche is equall and ryght, he shall saue hys soule alyue. ²⁸ For in so muche as he remembreth hym selfe, & turneth him from all the vngodlynes, that he had vsed, he shall lyue, and not dye. ²⁹ And yet sayeth the house of Israell: Tush the waye of the Lorde is not equall. Are my wayes vnryght, O ye house of Israel: Are not youre wayes rather vnequal? ³⁰ As for me I will iudge euery man, accordynge to hys wayes, O ye house of Israel, sayeth the Lord God. Wherfore be conuerted, and turne you cleane from all youre wickednesse, so shall there no sinne do you harme.

²⁵ Se that ye despyse not hym, that speaketh. For yf they escaped not whiche refused hym, that spake on earth: muche more shall we not escape, yf we turne awaye from hym that speaketh from heauen:

¹⁴ But I haue a fewe thinges against the, that thou hast there, them that maintaine the doctryne of Balam, whiche taught in Balake, to put occasyon of synne before the chyldren of Israel, that they shoulde eate of meate dedicate vnto ydoles & committe fornicacion. ¹⁵ Euen so hast thou them that mayntaine the doctryne of the Nicolaytans whiche thinge I hate. ¹⁶ But be conuerted, or els I wyll come vnto the shortlye, and wil fyght agaynst them wyth the swearde of my mouth.
