¹ And I sawe an other myghtye angel come doune from heauen, clothed wyth a cloude, and the rayne bowe vpon hys heade. And hys face as it were the sunne, and hys fete as it were pyllars of fyr ² and he had in hys hand a lyttel boke open, & he put hys ryghte fote vpon the sea, and hys lyfte fote on the earth ³ And cryed wyth a loude voyce, as when a Lyon roreth. And when he had cried, seuen thonders spake their voyces. ⁴ And when the .vij. thonders had spoken their voyces, I was aboute to wryte. And I harde a voice from heauen saying vnto me, seale vp those thynges, which the .vij. thonders spake, and wryte them not. ⁵ And the angell whyche I sawe stand vpon the sea, and vpon the earth, lyfte vp hys hand to heauen, ⁶ and swore by hym that lyueth for euer more, whiche created heauen, and the thynges that therin are, and the sea, and the thynges whyche therin are: that there shoulde be no longer tyme, ⁷ but in the dayes of the voyce of the seuenth aungel, when he shal begyn to blow, euen the mistery of God shalbe fynished as he preached by his seruauntes the prophetes. ⁸ And the voyce, whych I hard from heauen, spake vnto me agayne, and sayde, go and take the lytle boke, which is open in the hande of the angell, whyche standeth vpon the sea, and vpon the earth. ⁹ And I went vnto the angell, and sayd to hym, geue me the lytel boke, and he sayde vnto me take it, and eate it vp, and it shall make thy belly bytter, but it shal be in thy mouth as swete as hony, ¹⁰ and I toke the lytle boke out of hys hand, and eate it vp, and it was in my mouth as swete as honye, and assone as I had eaten it, my bealy was bitter. ¹¹ And he sayd vnto me: thou muste prophesye againe amonge the people, and nacyons, and tonges, and to many kynges.

¹ In the beginnynge GOD created heauen and erth. ² The erth was voyde and empty, and darcknesse was vpon the depe, and the spirite of God moued vpon the water.

¹¹ I make my bonde wyth you, that hence forth all fleshe shal not be destroied with the waters of any floud, & that hence forth there shall not be a floud to destroy the earth. ¹² And God sayd: This is the token of my bond which I make betwene me and you, & betwene all lyuyng thyng that is wyth you foreuer: ¹³ I wyll set my bowe in the cloudes, & it shall be a sygne of the appointment made betwene me & the earth: ¹⁴ so that when I bring in cloudes vpon the earth, the bowe shal appere in the cloudes. ¹⁵ And then wyll I thinke vpon my testament whych I haue made betwene me and you, and all that lyueth whatsoeuer fleshe it be. So that henceforth there shall be no more waters to make a floude to destroy all fleshe. ¹⁶ The bowe shal be in the cloudes, & I wil loke vpon it, to remembre the euerlastynge testament betwene God & all that lyueth vpon the earth, whatsoeuer fleshe it be. ¹⁷ And God sayed vnto Noe: Thys is the sygne of the testament which I haue made betwene me and all fleshe that is on the earth.

²² And Abram answered the kinge of Sodome: I lyfte vp my hande vnto the Lord God moste high possessor of heauen & earth,

¹⁵ And the Angell of the Lorde cryed vnto Abraham from heauen the second tyme saying: ¹⁶ by my selfe haue I sworne (sayth the Lord) because thou hast done this thynge and hast not spared thy only sonne,

⁸ And I wyll brynge you vnto the land ouer the which I did lift vp my hande to giue it vnto Abraham, Isaac, and Iacob, and wyll gyue it vnto you for a possession: euen I the Lorde.

¹⁰ And as Aaron spake vnto the hole multitude of the chyldren of Israel, they loked toward the wyldernesse: & behold, the glorye of the Lord apeared in a clowde.

¹¹ For in sixe dayes the Lord made both heauen & earth & the sea & all that in them is and rested the seuenth day: wherfore the Lord blessed the Sabbath daye and halowed it.

² speake vnto Aaron thy brother that he goo at all tymes in to the holy place, that is within the vayle that hangeth before the mercyseate which is vpon the arck that he dye not. For I wyl appeare in a clowde vpon the mercyseate.

²⁹ The secrettes of the Lord oure God are opened vnto vs and our children for euer, that we do all the wordes of this lawe.

⁴⁰ For I wyll lyfte vp myne hand to heauen, and wyl say: I lyue euer.

⁶ Lorde, thou alone haste made heauen, & the heauen of al heauens, with all theyr host the earth & all that is therein, the sea and all that is therein: thou geuest lyfe vnto all, & the host of heauen bowe them selues vnto the.

¹² I haue not forsaken the commaundemente of hys lippes, but loke what he charged me wt his mouth, that haue I shut vp in my herte.

⁸ Desyre of me, and I shall geue the Heathen for thyne enherytaunce. Yea the vttermost partes of the worlde for thy possessyon.

¹⁰ More pleasaunt are they then golde, yea then much fyne golde: sweter then hony and the hony combe.

⁵ Heare vs, according vnto thy wonderfull rightuousnesse, O God oure saluation: thou that art the hope of all the endes of the earth, and of the broade sea.

³ For the Lord is a great God, and a great kyng aboue all Goddes. ⁴ In his hand are al the corners of the earth, and the strength of the hylles is his also. ⁵ The sea is his, for he made it, & his handes prepared the drye lande. ⁶ O come, let vs worshippe & bowe doune our selfes: Let vs knele before the Lord our maker.

² Cloudes & darkenesse are round about him, righteousnesse & iudgement are the habitacion of hys seate.

³ Thou voltest it aboue with waters, thou makest the cloudes thy charet, & goest vpon the wynges of the wynde.

³⁴ O that my wordes might please hym, for my ioye is in the Lorde.

¹⁰³ O howe swete are thy woordes vnto my throte? Yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.

⁵ Blessed is he that hath the God of Iacob for his helpe, and whose hope is in the Lord hys God.

¹ Prayse the euerlastyng. O prayse the Lorde of heauen, prayse hym in the heygth. ² Prayse hym all ye aungels of hys, prayse hym all hys hoost. ³ Prayse hym Sunne and Moone, prayse hym all ye starres and light. ⁴ Prayse hym all ye heauens, and ye waters that be vnder the heauens. ⁵ Let them prayse the name of the Lorde, for he commaunded, and they were made. ⁶ He hath made them fast for euer and euer, he hath geuen them a lawe whiche shall not be broken. ⁷ Prayse the Lord vpon earth, ye whalfysshes, and al depes.

¹⁵ Thorow me, kinges reygn: thorow me, prynces make iust lawes. ¹⁶ Thorow me, lordes beare rule, and all iudges of the earth execute iudgement.

²⁴ Fayre wordes are an hony combe, a refreshynge of the mynde, and helth of the bones.

¹² The kynges disfauour is lyke the roaryng of a Lyon, but hys frendship is lyke the dewe vpon the grasse.

¹⁵ His legges are as the pylers of Marbel set vpon sokettes of golde: His face is as Libanus, and as the bewty of the Cedre trees:

²⁹ Theyr crye is as it were of a lyon, and the roarynge of them lyke lyons whelpes. They shal roare and hantch vp the praye, and no man shal recouer it, or get it from them.

¹ Moreouer the Lorde sayde vnto me: Take the a great leaf, and wryte in it, as men do wyth a penne, that he spede hym to robbe and haste him to spoyle.

¹⁶ Now laye the witnesses together (said the Lorde) and seale the lawe with my discyples.

¹ This is the heauy burthen vpon Egipt: Beholde, the Lord wyll ryde vpon a swyft cloude, & come into Egipt. And the Goddes of Egypte shall tremble at hys comminge, and the herte of Egypt shal quake within her.

¹¹ And all vysyons shalbe vnto you, as the wordes that stande in a sealed lettre, when one offereth it to a man that is learned, and sayeth: reade vs thys lettre. Then he aunswereth: I cannot read it, for it is shut.

²¹ and thyne eares harken to his worde, that cryeth after the, and sayeth: thys is the waye, go thys, and turne neyther to the right hande nor to the lefte.

⁴ For thus hath the Lorde spoken vnto me: Lyke as the lyon or lyons whelpe roareth vpon the praye that he hath gotten, and is not afrayed, thoughe the multitude of shepardes crye oute vpon hym, nether abashed for all the heape of them: So shal the Lord of Hostes come doune from the mounte of Sion, and defend his hil.

¹³ The Lord shal come forth as a gyaunte, and take a stomacke to hym lyke as a freshe man of warre. He shall roare and crye, and ouercome hys enemyes.

⁹ And this must be vnto me as the water of Noe: for as lyke I haue sworne that I wyll not brynge the water of Noe any more vpon the worlde: so haue I sworne that I wil neuer be angrye with the, nor reproue the:

¹⁹ where thorowe the name of the Lorde might be feared, from the rysynge of the Sunne: and his magesty, vnto the goinge doune of the same. For he shall come as a vyolente waterstreame, whyche the winde of the Lorde hath moued.

⁹ And with that, the Lorde stretched oute his hande, and touched my mouthe, and sayde moreouer vnto me. Beholde I put my wordes in thy mouth, ¹⁰ & this daye do I set the ouer the people & kingedomes, that thou mayest rote oute, breake of, destroye, & make waste: and that thou mayest buylde vp and plante.

¹⁰ But the Lorde is a true God, a lyuynge God, and an euerlastinge kyng. Yf he be wroth, the earthe shaketh: all the Gentiles maye not abyde his indygnacyon. ¹¹ As for theyr Goddes, it maye well be sayde of them: they are Goddes, that made neyther heauen nor earthe: therfore shall they peryshe from the earthe, & from al thynges vnder heauen ¹² But (as for oure God) he made the earth with his power, and with hys wysdom hath he fynished the whole compasse of the worlde, wyth hys discrecion hath he spred oute the heauens. ¹³ At his voyce the waters gather together in the ayre, he draweth vp the cloudes from the vttermoste partes of the earth: he turneth lyghtenyng to rayne, & bryngeth forth the windes oute of theyr treasures:

¹⁶ When I had found thy wordes, I ate them vp gredely: they haue made my herte ioyfull & glad. For I call vpon thy name, O Lorde God of Hostes.

¹⁵ For thus hath the Lord God of Israel spoken vnto me: Take this wyne cuppe of indignacion fro my hande, that thou mayeste cause al the people, to whom I sende the, for to drincke of it: ¹⁶ that when they haue drouncken therof, they may be mad, and out of their wyttes, when the swearde commeth, that I wyll sende amonge them. ¹⁷ Then toke I the cuppe from the Lordes hande, and made all the people dryncke therof, vnto whom the Lorde had sent me. ¹⁸ But fyrst the cytie of Ierusalem, and all the cytyes of Iuda, theyr kinges and princes to make them desolate, waste, despised & cursed according as it is come to passe this day. ¹⁹ Ye & Pharao the kinge of Egipt, his seruauntes, his prynces & hys people altogether one with anoth ²⁰ & al kinges of the land of Hus, al kinges of the Philistines lande, Ascalon, Azah, Accaron & the remnaunt of Asdod, ²¹ the Edomites, the Moabites & the Ammonites: ²² al the kinges of Tirus & Sidon: the kynges of the Iles, that are beyonde the se: ²³ Dedan, Thema, Buz and the shauen Ismaelites: ²⁴ all the kynges of Araby, and (generally) all the kynges that dwell in the deserte: ²⁵ all the kynges of Zamri, al the kinges of Elam, all the kynges of the Meedes, ²⁶ all kynges towarde the North, whether they be farre or nye, euery one with his neyghboures: Ye and all the kyngdomes that are vpon the whole earth. The kynge of Sezach, sayde he, shal drincke with them also. ²⁷ And saye thou vnto them: This is the commaundement of the Lorde of hostes the God of Israel: Drincke and be droncken, spewe & fall, that ye neuer ryse: and that thorow the swearde, whyche I wyll sende amonge you. ²⁸ But yf they wyl not receyue the cuppe of thy hande, and drincke it, then tell them: Thus doeth the Lord of Hostes threaten you: drinck it ye shal, and that shortly. ²⁹ For lo, I begynne to plage the cyty, that my name is geuen vnto: thynke ye then, that I will leaue you vnpunyshed? Ye shal not go quyte. For why, I call for a swearde vpon al the inhabitours of the earth, sayeth the Lord of Hostes. ³⁰ Therfore tell them all these wordes, and saye vnto them: The Lorde shall crye from aboue, and let hys voyce be hearde from his holy habitacion. Wyth a greate noyse shall he crye from his courte regall. He shall geue a greate voyce (like the grape gatherers) and the sounde thereof shalbe hearde vnto the endes of the worlde.

³⁰ Therfore tell them all these wordes, and saye vnto them: The Lorde shall crye from aboue, and let hys voyce be hearde from his holy habitacion. Wyth a greate noyse shall he crye from his courte regall. He shall geue a greate voyce (like the grape gatherers) and the sounde thereof shalbe hearde vnto the endes of the worlde.

⁴⁴ Thou hast hyd thy selfe in a cloude, that oure prayer shulde not go thorow.

²⁸ was lyke a raynbowe, which in a raynye daye appeareth in the cloudes. Euen so was the symylitude, wherin the glory of the Lorde appeared. When I sawe it, I fel vpon my face, and herkened vnto the voyce of him that spake.

⁸ Therfore, thou sonne of men, obey thou all thynges, that I saye vnto the, and be not thou styfnecked, lyke as they are a styfnecked housholde. Open thy mouth and eate that I geue the. ⁹ So as I was lokynge vp, beholde, there was sent vnto me an hande, wherin was a closed boke: ¹⁰ & the hande opened it before me, & it was wrytten within & wythout, full of carefull mournynges: alas, and wo.

¹⁴ Now when the sprete toke me vp, and caried me awaye, I wente with an heuy and a sorowfull mynde, but the hande of the Lorde comforted me ryght soone.

¹⁵ But I swore vnto them in the wildernesse, that I woulde not byrnge them into the lande, whiche I gaue them, a land that floweth with milck and honye, and is a pleasure of all landes,

²³ I lift vp myne hand ouer them also in the wildernesse, that I would scatre them amonge the Heathen, & strowe them amonge the nacions:

²⁸ For after I had brought them in to the lande, that I promysed to geue them, when they sawe euery hye hyll and the thicke trees: they made their offerynges, and prouoked me with their oblacyons, makinge swete sauoures there, and poured oute their drynckeofferynges.

⁴² and that ye maye knowe, that I am the Lorde, whiche haue broughte you into the lande of Israel: yea into the same lande, that I swore to geue vnto youre forefathers.

⁷ therfore thus sayeth the Lorde God: I haue sworne, that the Gentyles which lye aboute you, shal beare youre confusyon them selues.

⁴ And he sayde vnto me: prophecye thou vpon these bones, & speake vnto them: Ye drye bones, heare the worde of the Lorde.

⁹ Then sayde he vnto me: Thou sonne of man, prophecye thou towarde the wynde: prophecy, & speake to the wynd: Thus sayeth the Lord God: Come (O thou ayre) from the foure wyndes, and blowe vpon these slayne, that they maye be restored to lyfe.

¹⁴ Parte it indyfferently vnto one as vnto another: of the which land I swore vnto youre fathers: that it shulde fall to youre enheritaunce.

¹³ I sawe in a vision by nyght, and beholde, there came one in the cloudes of heauen lyke the sonne of a man, whyche went vnto the olde aged, before whome they broughte hym.

²⁶ And this vysyon that is shewed vnto the, is as sure as the euenynge & the morninge. Therfore wryte thou vp this sighte, for it wilbe longe, or it come to passe.

⁶ his body was like the Chrisolite stone, his face (to loke vpon) was like lighteninge, his eyes as the flamme of fyre, his armes and fete were lyke fayre glysterynge metall, but the voyce of his wordes was like the voyce of a multitude.

⁴ And thou O Daniel, shut vp these wordes, & seale the boke til the last time. Manye shal go aboute here & there, & then shal knowledge encrease.

⁷ Then hearde I the man with the lynen clothes, whiche stode aboue vpon the waters of the floude: when he helde vp his right and lefte hande vnto heauen, and sware, by hym whyche liueth for euer: that it shall tary for a tyme, two tymes and halfe a tyme: & when the power of the holy people is cleane scatred abroade, then shal al these thinges be fulfilled.

⁹ He answered: Go thy waye Daniel, for these wordes shalbe closed vp, & sealed, till the last tyme:

¹⁶ The Lorde shal roare oute of Syon, and crye oute of Ierusalem, that the heauens & the earthe shall quake wythal. But the Lorde shalbe a defence vnto his owne people, & a refuge for the chyldren of Israel.

² And he sayde: The Lorde shall roare oute of Syon, and shewe hys voyce from Ierusalem: so that the pastures of the shepherdes shalbe in a myserable case, and the tope of Charmell dryed vp.

⁷ Nowe doth the Lorde God no maner of thynge, but he telleth hys secrete before vnto hys seruauntes the Prophetes. ⁸ When a lyon roareth, who wyll not be afrayed? Seynge then that the Lord God him selfe speaketh, who wyll not prophecye?

² But the Lord aunswered me, and sayde: Wryte the vysyon planely vpon thy tables, that who so cometh by, maye rede it, ³ for the vysyon is yet farre of for a tyme, but at the last it shal come to passe & not fayle. And thoughe he tarye, yet wayte thou for hym, for in very dede he wyll come, & not be slacke

² and was transfigured before them, and his face did shyne as the sunne and hys clothes were as whyte as the light:

¹⁸ And Iesus came and spake vnto them saiynge: all power is geuen vnto me in heauen and in earth.

⁴⁴ And he sayde vnto them: These are the wordes which I spake vnto you, whyle I was yet with you: that al muste be fulfilled which was written of me in lawe of Moyses and in the prophetes and in the Psalmes. ⁴⁵ Then opened he their wittes, that they myght vnderstande the scriptures, ⁴⁶ and sayde vnto them: Thus is it written, and thus it behoued Christ to suffer: and to ryse agayne from death the thirde day, ⁴⁷ and that repentaunce and remissyon of synnes shoulde be preached in his name amonge all nacions. And must begynne at Ierusalem.

¹⁵ and saiynge: Syrs why do ye thys? We are mortall men lyke vnto you, and preache vnto you, that ye shoulde turne from these vanities vnto the liuynge God, which made heauen and earthe and the sea, and all that in them is:

²³ For as I passed by, and behelde the master, howe ye worshyppe youre Goddes, I founde an Altare wherein was wrytten: vnto the vnknowen God. Whom ye then ignorauntelye worshyppe hym, shew I vnto you.

¹³ euen at mydday (O king) I saw in the way alyght from heauen, aboue the bryghtnes of the sunne, shyne rounde aboute me, and them whyche iorneyed wyth me.

²⁰ So that his inuisible thinges, that is to saye, hys eternall power and Godhead, are vnderstand & sene by the workes from the creation of the worlde. So that they are wythout excuse,

²⁵ I woulde not that thys secrete shoulde be hyd from you my brethren (leste ye should be wyse in youre owne conceptes) that partelye blyndenes is happened in Israell, vntyll the fulnes of the gentyls be come in:

²⁵ To hym that is of power to stablysh you, accordynge to my Gospell and preachinge of Iesus Christe, in vtterynge of the mysterye whiche was kepte secrete sence the worlde began,

²⁰ whiche he wrought in Christe, when he raysed hym from the dead, and set hym on hys ryght hande in heauenly thynges, ²¹ aboue all rule, power, and myghte, and domynyon, and aboue all names that are named, not in thys worlde onely, but also in the worlde to come, ²² and hath put all thynges, vnder hys fete, and hath made hym aboue all thynges the heade of the congregacyon,

³ For by reuelation shewed he this misterie to me as I wrote aboue in fewe wordes, ⁴ wherby when ye reade, ye maye knowe myne vnderstandinge in the misterye of Christe. ⁵ Which mysterye in tymes passed was not opened to the sonnes of men, as it is now declared vnto his holye Apostles and Prophetes by the spyrite ⁶ that the Gentyles shoulde be inheritours also, and of the same bodye, and partakers of hys promes that is in Christe, by the meanes of the Gospell, ⁷ wherof I am made a mynyster, by the gyfte of the grace of God geuen vnto me thorowe the workynge of hys power. ⁸ Vnto me the leaste of all sainctes is this grace geuen, that I shoulde preache amonge the Gentyls the vnsearcheable ryches of Christe, ⁹ and to make all men se what the fellowshyp of the mysterye is, whiche from the beginninge of the worlde hath bene hyde in God, whiche made all thinges thorowe Iesus Christ,

¹⁰ that in the name of Iesus should euerye knee bowe, both of thinges in heauen and thinges in earth, and thinges vnder the earth, ¹¹ and that al tounges should confesse that Iesus Christ is the Lorde vnto the prayse of God the father.

⁶ for which thynges sakes the wrathe of God commeth on the chyldren of vnbeliefe.

¹³ For when God made promes to Abraham, because he had no greater thynge to sweare by, he sweare by hym selfe,

⁷ Behold he commeth wyth cloudes, and al eyes shal se him: and they also whiche persed hym. And all kynredes of the earth shal waile. Euen so. Amen:

¹¹ saiynge. I am Alpha and Omega, the fyrst and the laste. That thou seest wryte in a boke, and sende it vnto the congregacyons which are in Asia, vnto Ephesus, and vnto Smyrna, & vnto Pergamos, and vnto Sardis, & vnto Phyladelphia, and vnto Laodicia.

¹ Vnto the messenger of the congregacion of Ephesus writte, these thinges, sayeth he that holdeth the .vij. starres in his right hand, and walketh in the middes of the seuen golden candelstickes: ² I knowe thy workes, and thy laboure, & thy pacience, and howe thou cannest not forbeare them, whyche are euyl, and examinedst them which saye they are Apostles and are not, & hast found them lyars ³ and dydest washe thy selfe. And hast pacience, and for my names sake hast labored and hast not faynted:

³ And he that sate was to loke vpon, lyke vnto a Iaspar stone and a Sardin stone: And there was a rayne bowe aboute the seate, in syght lyke to an emeralde.

⁵ And out of the seate proceded lyghteninges, and thonderinges, and voyces, and there were seuen lampes of fyre, burninge before the seate, whiche are the seuen spirites of God.

⁹ And when those beastes gaue glorye and honour, and thankes to him that sate on the seate, whiche lyueth for euer and euer,

¹¹ thou art worthy Lorde to receiue glory and honour and power, for thou hast created al thinges, and for thy wylles sake they are and were created.

¹ And I saw in the ryghte hand of him that sate in the throne, a boke wrytten, wythin and on the backsyde, sealed with .vij. seales. ² And I sawe a stronge angel, which cryed wyth a loude voyce: Who is worthy to open the boke, and to lose the seales therof?

² And I sawe a stronge angel, which cryed wyth a loude voyce: Who is worthy to open the boke, and to lose the seales therof? ³ And no man in heauen nor in earth, neyther vnder the earth, was able to open the boke, neyther to loke theron. ⁴ And I wepte muche, because no man was founde worthy to open and to reade the boke, neyther to loke theron. ⁵ And one of the elders sayd vnto me: wepe not: beholde a Lyon beinge of the tribe of Iuda, the rote of Dauid, hath obtayned to open the boke, and to lowse the .vij. seales therof.

¹ And I saw when the Lambe opened one of the seales, and I hearde one of the .iiij. beastes saye, as it were the noyse of thonder, come and se.

³ And when he opened the seconde seale, I hearde the seconde beaste saye, come and se.

¹ And after that I sawe .iiij. angeles stand on the .iiij. corners of the earth, holding the .iiij. wyndes of the earth, that the windes should not blow on the earth, neyther on the sea, neyther on any tree. ² And I sawe another angell ascende from the rysinge of the sunne, whiche had the seale of the lyuing God, and he cried wyth a loud voyce to the .iiij. angelles (to whom power was geuen to hurte the earth and the sea)

² And I saw angelles standing before God, and to them were geuen .vij. trompettes. ³ And another angel came and stode before the aultare hauynge a golden senser, and muche of odoures was geuen vnto hym, that he shoulde offer of the prayers of al sainctes vpon the golden aultare, which was before the seate. ⁴ And the smoke of the odours, whiche came of the prayers of al sainctes ascended vp before God out of the angelles hand. ⁵ And the angell toke the senser, and fylled it wyth fyre of the aultare, and caste it into the earth, and voyces were made, and thonderinges and lighteninges, and earth quakes.

¹³ And I behelde and hearde an angell fliynge thorowe the middes of heauen, sayinge wyth a loude voyce: Wo, wo, to the inhabiters of the earth, because of the voyces to come of the trompe of the .iij. angels, whyche were yet to blowe.

⁴ And when the .vij. thonders had spoken their voyces, I was aboute to wryte. And I harde a voice from heauen saying vnto me, seale vp those thynges, which the .vij. thonders spake, and wryte them not. ⁵ And the angell whyche I sawe stand vpon the sea, and vpon the earth, lyfte vp hys hand to heauen,

⁸ And the voyce, whych I hard from heauen, spake vnto me agayne, and sayde, go and take the lytle boke, which is open in the hande of the angell, whyche standeth vpon the sea, and vpon the earth. ⁹ And I went vnto the angell, and sayd to hym, geue me the lytel boke, and he sayde vnto me take it, and eate it vp, and it shall make thy belly bytter, but it shal be in thy mouth as swete as hony, ¹⁰ and I toke the lytle boke out of hys hand, and eate it vp, and it was in my mouth as swete as honye, and assone as I had eaten it, my bealy was bitter.

⁹ And they of the people and kynredes, and tonges, and they of the nacyons, shal se theyr bodyes thre dayes and an halfe, and shall not suffer theyr bodies to be put in graues.

¹⁵ And the seuenth angell blewe, and there were made greate voyces in heauen, sayinge: the kyngdomes of thys worlde are oure Lordes and hys Christes, & he shall raygne for euer more. ¹⁶ And the .xxiiij. elders, whyche sit before God on their seates, fell vpon theyr faces, and worshipped God, ¹⁷ sayinge: we geue the thankes Lord GOD almyghty, whyche arte and wast, and arte to come, for thou hast receyued thy greate myght and hast reigned. ¹⁸ And the nacyons were angrye, and thy wrath is come, and the tyme of the dead that they shoulde be iudged and that thou shouldeste geue rewarde vnto thy seruauntes the Prophetes and saynctes, and to them that feare thy name small and greate, and shouldeste destroye them, whyche destroye the earth.

² And I hearde a voice from heauen, as the sounde of manye waters, and as the voice of a greate thunder. And I hearde the voyce of harpers harping with their harpes.

⁶ And I sawe an angel flye in the middes of heauen hauinge an euerlastinge Gospell to preache vnto them that sytte and dwell on the earth, & to al nacions, kinredes, & tonges, and people, ⁷ sayinge with a loude voice: Feare God, & geue honoure to him, for the houre of his iudgemente is come, and worshyp hym, that made heauen and earth & the sea, & fountaynes of water.

¹⁴ And I loked and beholde a whyte cloude, & vpon the cloude one setting like vnto the sonne of man, hauinge on his head a golden croune, & in his hand a sharpe sykle. ¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, criynge wyth a loude voyce to him that sate on the cloud. Thruste in thy sykle and reape for the time is come, to reape, for the corne of the earth is rype.

¹ And I saw another signe in heauen greate and maruellous .vij. angels, hauynge the seuen laste plages, for in them is fullfylled the wrath of GOD.

⁷ And one of the .iiij. beastes gaue to the .vij. angels .vij. golden vialles, ful of the wrath of God, whiche liueth for euermore.

¹⁷ And the .vij. angel poured out his vial into the aire. And there came a voice out of heauen from the seate, sayinge: it is done.

¹⁵ And he sayde vnto me, the waters whyche thou saweste, where the whore sitteth are people, and folke, and nacions & tounges.

¹⁰ And he sayd vnto me: seale not the sayinges of the prophesye of thys boke. For the tyme is at hand
