¹³ and in the myddes of the candelstickes, one lyke vnto the sonne of man clothed wyth a lynnen garment doune to the grounde, and gyrde aboute the pappes with a golden gyrdle.

⁶ And they shall make the Ephod of golde, iacincte, scarlet, purpull and whyte twined bysse with brothered worke. ⁷ The two sides shall come together, closed vp in the edges therof. ⁸ And the gyrdell of the Ephod shalbe of the same worckemanshyppe and of the same stuffe, euen of golde, iacyncte, scarlette, purpull and twyned bysse.

⁵ And the brodrynge of the gyrdell that was vpon it, was of the same stuffe and after the same worcke of golde, iacincte, scarlet, purple and twyned bysse, as the Lorde commaunded Moses.

⁷ & put vpon him the albe & gyrded hym wyth a gyrdle, & put vpon hym the tunicle, & put the Ephod theron, and gyrded hym with the brodered gyrdle of the Ephod, and bound it vnto hym therwt.

⁵ Ryghteousnesse shalbe the gyrdle of his loynes, truthe & faythfulnesse, the gyrdynge vp of hys raynes.

²⁶ Aboue the firmament that was ouer their heades, there was the fashyon of a seate, as it had bene made of Saphir. Vpon the seate there sat one lyke a man. ²⁷ I behelde hym, & he was lyke a cleare lyght, as it had bene all of fyre with in from hys loynes vpwarde. And beneth when I loked vpon him vnder the loynes, me thought he was lyke a shynyng fyre, that geueth lyght on euery syde. Yee the shyne & glystre that lyghtened rounde aboute, ²⁸ was lyke a raynbowe, which in a raynye daye appeareth in the cloudes. Euen so was the symylitude, wherin the glory of the Lorde appeared. When I sawe it, I fel vpon my face, and herkened vnto the voyce of him that spake.

⁹ I loked tyl the seates were prepared, and tyll the olde aged sat hym doune. His clothynge was as whyte as snowe, and the hearres of hys heade, lyke the pure woll. His trone was lyke the fyrye flamme, and his wheles as the burnynge fyre.

¹³ I sawe in a vision by nyght, and beholde, there came one in the cloudes of heauen lyke the sonne of a man, whyche went vnto the olde aged, before whome they broughte hym.

⁵ I lift vp mine eyes, and loked: and beholde, a man clothed in linen, whose loynes were girded vp with fyne goulde of Araby: ⁶ his body was like the Chrisolite stone, his face (to loke vpon) was like lighteninge, his eyes as the flamme of fyre, his armes and fete were lyke fayre glysterynge metall, but the voyce of his wordes was like the voyce of a multitude.

¹⁶ Beholde, there touched my lippes one very lyke vnto a man. Then opened I my mouthe, & sayde vnto him, that stode before me: O my Lorde, my pointes are lowsed in the vision, and there is no more strength within me:

⁷ Neuerthelesse he made hym selfe of no reputation, & toke on him the shap of a seruaunt, and became lyke vnto men, ⁸ and was founde in hys aparell as a man. He humbled hym selfe, and became obediente vnto the death euen the death of the crosse.

¹⁴ For as muche then as the children were partetakers of fleshe and bloude, he also him selfe lyke wyse toke part wyth them, for to put doune thorowe death, that is to saye the deuyll, ¹⁵ and that he mighte delyuer them, which thorowe feare of death weare all theyr lyfe tyme in daunger of boundage. ¹⁶ For he in no place taketh on him the angels, but the seade of Abraham taketh he on hym. ¹⁷ Wherfore in al thinges it became him to be made like vnto his brethren, that he myghte be mercyfull and a faythful hye prieste in thinges concerninge God, for to pourge the people synnes.

¹⁵ For we haue not an hye prieste, whiche can not haue compassion on our infirmities, but was in all pointes tempted, lyke as we are, but yet without sinne.

¹⁴ And I loked and beholde a whyte cloude, & vpon the cloude one setting like vnto the sonne of man, hauinge on his head a golden croune, & in his hand a sharpe sykle.

⁶ & the .vij. angels came out of the temple, which had the .vij. plages, clothed in pure and bryght linnen, & hauing their breastes gyrded wt golden gyrdels.
