⁴ And I heard the numbre of them whyche were sealed, and there were sealed an .C. and .xliiij.M. of all tribes of the chyldren of Israell.

⁵ And he brought him out of the dores, & sayd: loke vp vnto heauen, & tel the stars, if thou be able to numbre them. And said vnto hym: Euen so shal thy sede be.

¹³ Thus sayeth the Lorde God: Let this be the border wherin ye shall deuyde the lande vnto the .xij. tribes of Israell, wyth the lyne.

¹⁹ They that laboure for the welth of the cytye, shall manteyne this also, out of what tribe soeuer they be in Israel.

³¹ The portes of the cyte, shall haue the names of the tribes of Israel. Thre portes of the northside: one Ruben, another Iuda, the thyrde Leui.

¹ The worde of the Lorde shalbe receyued at Abrach, & Damascus shalbe his offering: for the eyes of all men and of the trybes of Israel shall loke vp vnto the lord.

²⁸ Iesus sayde vnto them: Verely I saye vnto you: when the sonne of man shall sit in the seate of hys maiestie, yea, which folow me in the second geueracion, shall sitte also vpon .xij. seates, and iudge the .xij. tribes of Israel.

³⁰ that ye maye eate and drinke at my table in my kingdome, and syt on seates, and iudge the twelue tribes of Israel.

⁷ vnto whyche promys our .xij. trybes instantlye, seruynge God daie and nighte hope to come. For whiche hopes sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Iewes.

²⁷ But Esayas cryeth concernynge Israell, thoughe the nomber of the chyldren of Israel be as the sande of the sea, yet shall a remnaunt be saued.

⁵ Euen so at thys tyme is there a remnaunte left thorow the election of grace. ⁶ Yf it be of grace, then is it not of workes. For then were grace no more grace. Yf it be of workes, then is it no more grace. For then were deseruynge no lenger deseruynge.

¹ Iames the seruaunte of God and of the Lorde Iesus Christ sendeth gretyng to the twelue trybes whiche are scattered here and there.

¹⁶ And the number of horsmen of warre, were twenty tymes ten thousand. And I heard the numbre of them.

¹ And I loked, and lo a lamb stode on the mounte Syon, and wyth him an hundred & .xliiij. thousand hauyng hys fathers name wrytten in theyr forheades.

³ And they songe as it were a newe songe, before the seate, & before the foure beastes, & the elders, & no man coulde learne the songe, but the hundred and .xliiij.M. which were redemed from the earth.
