⁴⁰ And they laughed at him. But Jesus put them all out. And he took the maids father, and her mother, and those that accompanied him, and entered into where the maid lay.

⁶ Give not a holy thing to dogs: and cast not your pearls before swine; lest they tread them under their feet, and turn and lacerate you.

²⁴ And he said to them: Retire; for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they scoffed at him. ²⁵ And when he had ejected the throngs, he entered in, and took her by the hand, and the maid rose up.
