⁴¹ And he took the maid's hand, and said to her: Maiden, arise.

³¹ And he came, and took her hand, and raised her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them.

⁴¹ And Jesus had compassion on him, and stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said: I will; be thou clean.

¹⁴ And he went, and touched the bier; and they that bore him stood still. And he said: Young man, I say to thee, Arise. ¹⁵ And the dead man sat up, and began to speak: and he delivered him to his mother.

⁵⁴ And he put every one out, and took her by the hand, and called, and said: Maid, arise. ⁵⁵ And her spirit returned, and she instantly arose. And he directed them to give her food.

And she opened her eyes; and when she saw Simon, she sat up. ⁴¹ And he reached to her his hand, and raised her up: and he called the saints and the widows, and presented her to them alive.
