¹⁵ Now they were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

²⁴ And she went up with him to Shiloh with a three-year old bull, and bread, and one ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the LORD in Shiloh. And the child was with them. And they went before the LORD, and his father slaughtered the sacrifice, which he did annually to the LORD. And he brought the child,

¹³ Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. ¹⁴ But Jesus said, "Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to ones like these." ¹⁵ He placed his hands on them, and departed from there.

⁵⁴ When his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, "Lord, do you want us to command fire to come down from the sky, and consume them?"
