¹ I saw another great and marvelous sign in the sky: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them God's wrath is finished. ² I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. ³ They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God of hosts. Righteous and true are your ways, King of the nations. ⁴ Who would not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed." ⁵ After these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. ⁶ The seven angels came out of the temple who had the seven plagues, clothed with pure, bright linen, and wearing golden sashes around their chests. ⁷ One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. ⁸ The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power. No one was able to enter into the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels would be finished.

²¹ "'If you walk contrary to me, and won't listen to me, then I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.

² It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked toward me. ³ How great are his signs and how mighty are his wonders. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

²⁷ He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."

⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall it be till these wonders take place?" ⁷ I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

¹¹ From the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days. ¹² Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

⁴¹ The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity, ⁴² and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and the grinding of teeth.

⁴⁹ So will it be in the end of the world. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous, ⁵⁰ and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be the weeping and the grinding of teeth."

² I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

⁶ The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

¹³ I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe. Woe. Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound."

³ He shouted with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he shouted, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

¹⁴ The second woe is past. Look, the third woe comes quickly.

¹ A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. ² She was with child. She screamed out in pain, laboring to give birth. ³ Another sign was seen in heaven. Look, a great fiery red serpent, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

¹⁰ he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.

¹⁹ The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

⁶ The seven angels came out of the temple who had the seven plagues, clothed with pure, bright linen, and wearing golden sashes around their chests. ⁷ One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.

¹ I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."

¹ One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

¹⁵ Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of the God of hosts.

⁹ One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, full of the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."

⁴ when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from its midst, by the spirit of justice, and by the spirit of burning. ⁵ The LORD will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.

³⁰ "And I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none. ³¹ Therefore have I poured out my indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought on their heads, says the Lord GOD."

¹¹ I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but the one who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with fire.

⁷ that the genuineness of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ—

¹² Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.

⁶ Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

⁸ Now when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

¹¹ After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them. ¹² I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.

¹¹ They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. They did not love their life, even to death.

¹⁴ He deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had been wounded by the sword and yet lived.

¹ After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Hallelujah. Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God: ² for true and righteous are his judgments. For he has judged the great prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand." ³ A second said, "Hallelujah. Her smoke goes up forever and ever." ⁴ The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah." ⁵ A voice came forth from the throne, saying, "Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great." ⁶ I heard something like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, "Hallelujah. For the Lord our God of hosts reigns. ⁷ Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready."

¹⁸ The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.

¹ When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am El Shaddai. Walk before me, and be blameless.

¹ Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to God, and said, "I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea. ² The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him. ³ The LORD is a man of war. The LORD is his name. ⁴ He has cast Pharaoh's chariots and his army into the sea. His choice officers were drowned in the Sea at the End. ⁵ The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone. ⁶ Your right hand, LORD, is glorious in power. Your right hand, LORD, dashes the enemy in pieces. ⁷ In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send forth your wrath. It consumes them as stubble. ⁸ With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea. ⁹ The enemy said, 'I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the spoil. My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.' ¹⁰ You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters. ¹¹ Who is like you, LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ¹² You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them. ¹³ "You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation. ¹⁴ The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia. ¹⁵ Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the leaders of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away. ¹⁶ Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone—until your people pass over, LORD, until the people pass over who you have purchased. ¹⁷ You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, LORD, which you have made for yourself to dwell in; the sanctuary, LORD, which your hands have established. ¹⁸ The LORD shall reign forever and ever."

³⁰ Moses spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until they were finished.

³⁰ How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had delivered them up? ³¹ For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. ³² For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter. ³³ Their wine is the poison of serpents, The cruel venom of asps. ³⁴ "Isn't this laid up in store with me, sealed up among my treasures? ³⁵ Vengeance is mine, I will repay, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is near, and the things to come hasten upon them." ³⁶ For the LORD will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their strength is gone and there is none remaining, confined or set free. ³⁷ And he will say, "Where are their gods, the rock in which they took refuge? ³⁸ Who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you. Let them be your protection. ³⁹ "See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god besides me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. ⁴⁰ For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, 'As I live forever, ⁴¹ if I sharpen my flashing sword and my hand takes hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my adversaries, and will recompense those who hate me. ⁴² I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy.'" ⁴³ Rejoice, O heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him. Rejoice, O nations, with his people, and let all the children of God strengthen themselves in him. For he will avenge the blood of his children, and he will render vengeance to his enemies, and he will recompense them that hate him, and he atones for the land of his people.

⁵ So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.

⁴⁹ But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

⁶ The king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said to him, "Why haven't you required of the Levites to bring in the tax of Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the assembly of Israel, out of Judah and out of Jerusalem, for the tent of the testimony?"

¹⁴ and made known to them your holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses your servant,

⁹ who does great things that can't be fathomed, marvelous things without number;

¹² He did marvelous things in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. ¹¹ Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.

⁴ The King's strength also loves justice. You do establish equity. You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.

⁵ For the LORD is good. His loving kindness endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

⁵ Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

² The LORD's works are great, pondered by all those who delight in them.

²² The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. ²³ This is the LORD's doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

¹⁴ I will give thanks to you, for I am awesomely and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows that very well.

⁶ Men will speak of the might of your awesome acts. I will declare your greatness.

¹⁷ The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and faithful in all his deeds.

⁶ For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

¹ Look, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice. ² A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a shelter from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.

²² For the LORD is our judge. The LORD is our lawgiver. The LORD is our king. He will save us.

²¹ Declare and bring it forth. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who announced this from long ago, has told it from then? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior; there is no one besides me.

²⁰ When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a lamentable voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, "Daniel, servant of the living God. Is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?"

¹¹ Yes, all Israel has transgressed your law, and turned away, refusing to obey your voice. Therefore has the curse been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against you.

⁹ Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them; But the rebellious stumble in them.

²⁰ You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

⁵ The LORD, in the midst of her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn't fail, but the unjust know no shame.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion. Shout, daughter of Jerusalem. Look, your king comes to you. He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

⁵ Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,

⁸ The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts, who was and who is and who is to come."

⁹ They sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and redeemed for God with your blood those from every tribe, language, people, and nation, ¹⁰ and made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on earth." ¹¹ I saw, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands; ¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing." ¹³ I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever."

¹⁰ They shouted with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." ¹¹ All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne, and worshiped God,

¹⁷ saying: "We give you thanks, Lord God of hosts, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power, and reigned.

³ They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.

⁸ Another, a second angel, followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality."

⁵ I heard the angel of the waters saying, "You are righteous, who is and who was, the Holy One, because you have judged these things. ⁶ For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this." ⁷ I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God of hosts, true and righteous are your judgments."

¹⁴ These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. They also will overcome who are with him, called and chosen and faithful."

² for true and righteous are his judgments. For he has judged the great prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand."

¹⁶ He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, "King of kings, and Lord of lords."

¹⁴ The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia. ¹⁵ Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the leaders of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away. ¹⁶ Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone—until your people pass over, LORD, until the people pass over who you have purchased.

² Truly, there is no one as holy as the LORD. Truly, there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God.

³ But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.

²³ You who fear the LORD, praise him. All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him. Revere him, all you descendants of Israel.

²⁷ Every part of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.

⁹ All nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord. They shall glorify your name.

⁷ a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

⁸ Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced, because of your judgments, LORD.

⁵ Exalt the LORD our God. Worship at his footstool. He is Holy.

⁹ Exalt the LORD, our God. Worship at his holy mountain, for the LORD, our God, is holy.

⁷ He is the LORD, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

⁹ He has sent redemption to his people. He has ordained his covenant forever. His name is holy and awesome.

¹ Praise the LORD, all you nations. Praise him, all you peoples. ² For his loving kindness is great toward us. The LORD's faithfulness endures forever. Praise the LORD.

³ One called to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts. The whole earth is full of his glory."

¹⁵ Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, even the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea.

³ Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.

⁹ With my soul have I desired you in the night. Yes, my spirit within me will seek you early, for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

²³ By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear to God.

¹⁵ For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

⁵ Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.

¹⁸ "For I know their works and their thoughts. I am coming to gather all nations and languages; and they will come and see my glory. ¹⁹ "I will set a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the islands afar off, who have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations. ²⁰ They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to the LORD, on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

²² "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me," says the LORD, "so your descendants and your name shall remain. ²³ It shall happen, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me," says the LORD.

²² Do you not fear me?' says the LORD 'Won't you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it can't pass it? And though its waves toss themselves, yet they can't prevail; though they roar, yet they can't pass over it.'

⁷ Who should not fear you, King of the nations? For it appertains to you; because among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is none like you.

¹⁹ "LORD, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, to you shall the nations come from the farthest parts of the earth, and shall say, 'Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.

⁵ Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.

¹² Aren't you from everlasting, LORD my God, my Holy One? We will not die. LORD, you have appointed him for judgment. You, Rock, have established him to punish.

¹¹ Many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

²⁰ Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come; ²¹ and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, 'Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts. I will go also.' ²² Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of the LORD." ²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts: "In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, 'We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.'"

¹⁶ It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of booths.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun even to the going down of the same, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name is great among the nations," says the LORD of hosts.

⁴ "I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. ⁵ But I will warn you whom you should fear. Fear him, who after he has killed, has power to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

⁹ and that the non-Jews might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, "therefore I will give praise to you among the non-Jews, and sing to your name."

¹⁰ when he comes to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. ¹¹ To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith, with power; ¹² that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

⁷ "To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: "These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens:

¹⁰ They called out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

¹⁵ The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever."

⁷ He said with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters."

⁷ I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God of hosts, true and righteous are your judgments."

²¹ You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you.

²¹ This is the amount of material used for the tabernacle, even the Tabernacle of the Testimony, as they were counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.

⁵⁰ but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle, and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall camp around it.

⁵³ But the Levites shall camp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony."

⁵¹ And look, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split.

¹⁹ God's temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

⁵ They shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen. ⁶ "They shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman. ⁷ It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together. ⁸ The skillfully woven band, which is on it, that is on him, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

¹⁷ "'It shall be that, when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come on them, while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within. ¹⁸ They shall have linen turbans on their heads, and shall have linen breeches on their waists; they shall not clothe themselves with anything that causes sweat.

⁴ It happened, while they were greatly perplexed about this, look, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.

¹³ And among the lampstands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.

¹⁵ Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe."

¹ I saw another great and marvelous sign in the sky: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them God's wrath is finished.

⁸ For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.

¹⁵ For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to me: "Take this cup of the wine of wrath at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.

⁹ For they themselves report concerning us what kind of a reception we had from you; and how you turned to God from idols, to serve a living and true God,

⁶ Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ The first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. ⁸ The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts, who was and who is and who is to come." ⁹ And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,

⁶ and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay,

² The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and evil sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

³⁴ Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. ³⁵ Moses wasn't able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and the LORD's glory filled the tabernacle.

¹⁰ It came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, ¹¹ so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

¹³ it happened, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, "For he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever," then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD, ¹⁴ so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD filled God's house.

⁸ Smoke went out of his nostrils. Consuming fire came out of his mouth. Coals were kindled by it. ⁹ He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet. ¹⁰ He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind. ¹¹ He made darkness his hiding place, his canopy around him thick clouds dark with water. ¹² From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed on, with hailstones and coals of fire. ¹³ The LORD also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice. ¹⁴ And he sent out arrows and scattered them, and he shot lightning bolts and routed them.

⁹ The voice of the LORD makes the large trees tremble, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory."

⁴ The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.

¹ Then the LORD said to me, "Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

⁴⁴ You have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.

³³ Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God. How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out.

⁹ who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,
