1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 I thank God, whom I serve as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience, as without ceasing I remember you night and day in my prayers.
4 Remembering your tears, I greatly desire to see you, that I may be filled with joy;
5 I am reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded is in you also.
6 Therefore, I would remind you to stir into flame the gift of God, which is in you by the laying on of my hands.
7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of self-discipline.
8 Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but share in the afflictions of the gospel, by the power of God;
9 Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not by virtue of our works, but because of his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,
10 But has now been made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
11 Of this gospel I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher,
12 And for this reason I also suffer these things: nevertheless, I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him until that day.
13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
14 That good thing which was committed to you, guard by the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us.
15 This you know, that all those who are in Asia have turned away from me; among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.
16 May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chains:
17 But when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.
18 May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day. You know very well in how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus.

15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his ability; and he went on his journey.
16 Then he who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and gained another five talents.
17 And likewise, he who had received two, gained two more.
18 But he who had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.
20 And so he who had received five talents came and brought the other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered to me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said to him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord.
22 He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents: behold, I have gained two more talents.
23 His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord.
24 Then he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew that you are a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, here you have what is yours.
26 His lord answered and said to him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed:
27 Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and then at my coming I should have received it back with interest.
28 Take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

36 Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
37 Then the righteous shall answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty, and give you drink?
38 When did we see you a stranger, and take you in? or naked, and clothe you?
39 Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?

1 Corinthians 1:18
18 For the preaching of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness; but to those of us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 2:4
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1 Corinthians 3:13
13 Each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test the quality of every man's work.
1 Corinthians 3:16
16 Do you not know that you are God's temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:21-22
1 Corinthians 4:5
5 Therefore, judge nothing before the time; before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will disclose the motives of the heart: and then every man shall have his praise from God.
1 Corinthians 4:9-13
9 For I think that God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as if we were condemned to death: for we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels and to men.
10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honoured, but we are despised.
11 Even to this present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are ill-clothed, and are buffeted, and are homeless;
12 And we labour, working with our own hands: when reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure it:
13 When slandered, we answer kindly; we have been made the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things, even to this day.
1 Corinthians 6:19
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own?
1 Corinthians 9:17
17 If I do this willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a commission has been entrusted to me.
1 Corinthians 15:26
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:53-55
53 For the perishable must put on the imperishable, and the mortal must put on immortality.
54 When the perishable has put on the imperishable, and the mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
1 Corinthians 16:8
8 But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost,
1 Corinthians 16:18
2 Corinthians 1:1
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:
2 Corinthians 1:12
12 For our boast is in this: the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and still more toward you.
2 Corinthians 1:20
20 For as many as are the promises of God, in him they are yes. And so our Amen is through him, to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 5:4
4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened: not that we would be unclothed, but rather further clothed, that mortality might be swallowed up by life.
2 Corinthians 5:13-14
2 Corinthians 5:16
16 Therefore, we no longer regard man according to the flesh: though once we regarded Christ according to the flesh, yet now we regard him thus no longer.
2 Corinthians 5:19-20
19 That is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not counting men's sins against them; and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were making his appeal through us: we beg you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 6:6
2 Corinthians 9:1
1 Now regarding this ministry to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
2 Corinthians 9:12-14
12 For the performance of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints, but also overflows in many thanksgivings to God.
13 Because of the proof given by this service, they will glorify God because of your obedience to the gospel of Christ, which you profess, and for your liberal contribution to them, and to all;
14 And in their prayers, their hearts will go out to you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.
2 Corinthians 11:23-27
23 Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more so; in labours more abundant, in beatings beyond number, in prison more frequently, in danger of death often.
24 From the Jews I five times received forty lashes less one.
25 Thrice I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have spent in the deep;
26 On frequent journeys, in perils from rivers, in perils from robbers, in perils from my own countrymen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils on the sea, in perils among false brethren;
27 In toil and hardship, in many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and nakedness.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly will I boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore, for Christ's sake, I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in distresses: for when I am weak, then I am strong.
Galatians 1:14
14 And advanced in Judaism beyond many Jews of my age, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
Galatians 2:7
7 But instead, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised;

4 You who would be justified by the law, you have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

11 We have also obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we who first trusted in Christ should live for the praise of his glory.
13 In him you also, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

16 Do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

1 For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles,
Ephesians 3:1-8
1 For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles,
2 If indeed you have heard of the stewardship of the grace of God which was given to me for you:
3 That by revelation he made known to me the mystery; as I wrote before briefly.
4 When you read this, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
5 Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel:
Ephesians 3:6-8
6 That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel:
7 Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the working of his power.
8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Philippians 1:27
27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or am absent, I may hear of you, that you are standing fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Philippians 2:21
21 For all seek after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ's.
Philippians 2:26
26 For he longed after you all, and was full of distress, because you had heard that he had been sick.

8 Furthermore, I count all things as loss compared to the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may win Christ,

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death;

1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
1 Thessalonians 2:16
16 By hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved, thus always filling up their sins to the limit: but wrath has come upon them at last.
17 But we, brethren, having been torn from you for a short time, in person, not in heart, endeavoured all the more eagerly and with great desire to see you face to face.
1 Thessalonians 2:19

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the commandment of God our Saviour, and of Jesus Christ, our hope;
2 To Timothy, my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 As I urged you when I went to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus, that you might warn certain men not to teach any other doctrine,
1 Timothy 1:5
5 Now the aim of this commandment is love from a pure heart, and a good conscience, and a sincere faith:
1 Timothy 1:7
7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; but understanding neither what they say, nor the matters about which they make such confident assertions.
1 Timothy 1:10
1 Timothy 1:14
14 And the grace of our Lord overflowed for me, along with the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

19 Holding on to faith and a good conscience; which some have rejected and so shipwrecked their faith:
1 Timothy 2:6

6 If you point out all these things to the brethren, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished by the words of faith and of good doctrine, which you have been following.

14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophetic message when the body of elders laid hands upon you.

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 Timothy 1:5
5 I am reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded is in you also.
2 Timothy 1:8
8 Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but share in the afflictions of the gospel, by the power of God;
2 Timothy 1:12
12 And for this reason I also suffer these things: nevertheless, I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him until that day.
2 Timothy 1:14
14 That good thing which was committed to you, guard by the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us.
2 Timothy 1:16
16 May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chains:

10 But you have fully known my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, such as befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; the persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yes, and all who will live godly lives in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

2 Timothy 4:8
8 Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me on that day: and not only to me, but also to all those who have longed for his appearing.
9 Make every effort to come to me shortly:
10 For Demas, having loved this present world, has forsaken me and has departed to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark, and bring him with you: for he is useful to me for the ministry.

20 For what credit is there, if, when you are beaten for your wrongs, you endure it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you endure it patiently, this is commendable before God.

1 Peter 4:10-11
10 As every man has received a gift, so he should use it to serve one another, as befits good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1 Peter 4:13-15
13 But rejoice, insofar as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be triumphantly joyful.
14 Blessed are you if you are insulted for the name of Christ; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a meddler in other men's affairs.
16 Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God that he bears that name.
1 Peter 4:19
19 Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to a faithful Creator by doing right.
