¹⁰ They were Mary of Magdala, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.

⁵⁶ Among them was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

³⁰ And the apostles gathered together with Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

⁴⁰ There were also women looking on from afar: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; ⁴¹ (Who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered to him;) and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.

⁹ :¹⁰ And she went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. ¹¹ And they, when they heard that he was alive, and that she had seen him, did not believe.

¹¹ But Mary stood outside the tomb weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the tomb, ¹² And saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. ¹³ And they said to her, Woman, why do you weep? She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him. ¹⁴ And when she had said this, she turned around, and saw Jesus standing, but did not know that it was Jesus. ¹⁵ Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? whom do you seek? She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away. ¹⁶ Jesus said to her, Mary. She turned, and said to him, Rabboni; which is to say, Teacher. ¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not hold me; for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend to my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. ¹⁸ Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things to her.
