²⁵ Then he said to them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

¹⁸ And he said to them, Are you also without understanding? Do you not perceive, that whatever enters into the man from without, it cannot defile him;

¹⁷ And being aware of this, Jesus said to them, Why do you discuss having no bread? do you not yet see or understand? are your hearts hardened? ¹⁸ Having eyes, do you not see? and having ears, do you not hear? and do you not remember?

¹⁹ He answered him, and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I endure you? bring him to me.

¹⁴ Afterward, he appeared to the eleven as they sat eating, and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw him after he had risen.

¹¹ Of him we have many things to say which are hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. ¹² For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need for someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.
