¹⁹ And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part in the tree of life, and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

⁵² Woe to you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge: you did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.

³ Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and heed those things which are written in it: for the time is at hand.

¹² He who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall never go out of it: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will also write upon him my new name.

²¹ To him who overcomes I will grant the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, from all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands; ¹⁰ And cried out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, ¹² Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the elders addressed me, saying, Who are these who are arrayed in white robes? and from where did they come? ¹⁴ And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he who sits on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them. ¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, nor shall they thirst any more; nor shall the sun beat upon them, nor shall any scorching heat. ¹⁷ For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall lead them to the springs of the waters of life: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

⁸ And all who live upon the earth shall worship him, every one whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord henceforth: Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.

² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

²² And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. ²³ And the city had no need of the sun, or the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God is its light, and the Lamb its lamp. ²⁴ And the nations shall walk by its light: and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it. ²⁵ And its gates shall never be shut by day: and there shall be no night there. ²⁶ And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. ²⁷ But nothing impure shall enter into it, nor shall any man who commits shameful acts, or who lies: but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

² Down the middle of the street of the city. And on either side of the river was the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruits, and yielded its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

¹² Behold, I am coming quickly; and my reward is with me, to give to every man according to what he has done.
