¹ And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. ² And I saw the seven angels who stand before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. ³ And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God out of the angel's hand. ⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it upon the earth: and there were rumblings, and peals of thunder, and flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. ⁶ And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. ⁷ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. ⁸ And the second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and a third of the sea became blood; ⁹ And a third of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ And the third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning as if it were a torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the springs of waters; ¹¹ And the name of the star is Wormwood: and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. ¹² And the fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them was darkened, and a third of the day the light did not shine, and likewise a third of the night. ¹³ And I beheld, and heard an eagle flying through mid-heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the blasts of the trumpets by the other three angels, which are about to sound!

¹ And I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll, with writing inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to break its seals: for you were slain, and by your blood have purchased men for God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

¹ Then I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, Come.

³ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come.

⁵ And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse; and he who sat upon it had a pair of scales in his hand.

⁷ And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come.

⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they maintained:

¹² And I beheld, and, lo, when he had opened the sixth seal, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

¹⁰ Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, That in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁹ And the angel answered him, I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God; and have been sent to speak to you, and to bring you this good news.

⁶ And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, ¹⁴ Saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

¹ And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for with them the wrath of God is completed.

¹ And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.

¹⁰ And the whole multitude of people were praying outside at the time of incense offering.

³⁰ And when forty years had passed, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sinai an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. ³¹ When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came to him, ³² Saying, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and dared not look.

³⁴ Who is there to condemn? It is Christ who died, yes, and more than that, who was raised again, who is at the right hand of God, and who also intercedes for us.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our infirmities; but one who in every respect was tempted as we are, yet without sin. ¹⁶ Therefore, let us boldly approach the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

²⁵ Therefore, he is also able to completely save those who come to God through him, for he ever lives to make intercession for them.

⁴ Which had the golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, in which was the golden jar that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

¹⁹ Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the most holy place by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ By a new and living way which he has opened for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; ²¹ And since we have a high priest over the house of God, ²² Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

¹ My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if any man does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: ² And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

⁸ And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb; each one had a harp, and they had golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

² And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom had been given power to hurt the earth and the sea,

⁴ And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God out of the angel's hand.

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

¹ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

³ And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

⁸ And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels were ended.

⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and earthquakes, in various places.

⁵² And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who slept arose, ⁵³ And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many. ⁵⁴ Now when the centurion, and those who were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

⁴⁹ I have come to send fire on the earth; and how I wish it was already kindled.

³¹ And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

²⁶ And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's chains were unfastened.

¹⁸ For you have not come to a mountain that may be touched, that burns with fire, and to darkness, and gloom, and tempest, ¹⁹ And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice whose words made those who heard beg that no further word should be spoken to them.

⁵ And out of the throne came flashes of lightning and peals of thunder: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

¹³ And that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain seven thousand men: and the remnant were terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹⁹ Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant: and there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

¹ And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth. ² And the first went, and poured out his bowl upon the earth; and foul and malignant sores fell upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshipped his image. ³ And the second angel poured out his bowl upon the sea; and it became like the blood of a dead man: and every living thing in the sea died. ⁴ And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and springs of water; and they became blood. ⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, you who are, and were, O Holy One, because you have judged thus. ⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for such is their due. ⁷ And I heard the altar say, Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments. ⁸ And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given power to scorch men with fire. ⁹ And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues: and they did not repent and give him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was filled with darkness; and they gnawed their tongues in pain, ¹¹ And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. ¹² And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way for the kings of the east might be prepared. ¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. ¹⁴ For they are the spirits of devils, working miraculous signs, who go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for battle on the great day of God Almighty. ¹⁵ Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who stays awake, and keeps his garments with him, lest he walk naked and ashamed for all to see. ¹⁶ And they gathered them together at the place which in Hebrew is called Armageddon. ¹⁷ And the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done. ¹⁸ And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as had never been since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake it was, and so great. ¹⁹ And the great city was broken into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and God remembered Babylon the great, to give her the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. ²⁰ And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. ²¹ And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of hail; for the plague was exceedingly great.

²⁵ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it did not fall: for it was founded upon a rock. ²⁶ And every one who hears these words of mine, and does not do them, is like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: ²⁷ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

¹¹ For the sun has no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. In the same way shall the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

²⁴ For, All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls away,

⁸ And I looked, and behold, a pale horse: and the name of him who sat upon it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with plague, and with the wild beasts of the earth.

¹⁵ And the four angels were released, who had been prepared for this hour, and day, and month, and year, to kill a third of mankind.

¹⁸ By these three was a third of mankind killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the sulphur, which came out of their mouths.

⁴ And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born.

¹² And the fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them was darkened, and a third of the day the light did not shine, and likewise a third of the night.

¹⁸ And he said to them, I beheld Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

¹³ Raging waves of the sea, flinging up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackest darkness is reserved forever.

²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

¹³ And the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts down its unripe figs, when it is shaken by a mighty wind.

¹ And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit.

⁷ Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment has come: and worship him who made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the springs of water.

⁴ And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and springs of water; and they became blood.

¹⁵ See to it that no man fails to obtain the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up should trouble you, and thereby defile many;

²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

²⁴ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

³³ And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth nations shall be distressed and perplexed by the roaring waves of the sea;

⁴⁴ And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour, ⁴⁵ For the sun was darkened. And the veil of the temple was torn in two.

²⁰ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come:

⁴ For the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest they should see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

⁹ The coming of the lawless one is through the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ And with all wicked deception for those who perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this reason God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: ¹² That all those might be condemned who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness.

⁸ And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given power to scorch men with fire. ⁹ And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues: and they did not repent and give him glory.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to serve those who shall be heirs of salvation?

¹² One woe is past; behold, there are two more woes yet to come.

¹⁴ The second woe is past; behold, the third woe comes quickly.

³ And they sang a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who had been redeemed from the earth.

⁶ And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,

¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and gather yourselves together for the great supper of God;
