¹⁰ And he said, "Behold, I make a covenant: Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: And all the people among which you are shall see the work of the LORD: For it is a frightful thing that I will do with you.

⁷ And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: And they said, "All that the LORD has said will we do, and be obedient." ⁸ And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words."

²⁷ And the LORD said to Moses, "Write these words: For after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."

¹³ And he declared to you His covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

³² For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven to the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it? ³³ Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as you have heard, and live? ³⁴ Or has God assayed to go and take him a nation from the middle of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? ³⁵ To you it was showed, that you might know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. ³⁶ Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: And on earth he showed you his great fire; and you heard his words out of the middle of the fire. ³⁷ And because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

² The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. ³ The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

²¹ He is your praise, and he is your God, that has done for you these great and terrible things, which your eyes have seen.

¹² That you should enter into covenant with the LORD your God, and into his oath, which the LORD your God makes with you this day: ¹³ That he may establish you today for a people to himself, and that he may be to you a God, as he has said to you, and as he has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. ¹⁴ Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

³⁰ How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?

²⁰ So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: And it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

¹² Then spoke Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand you still on Gibeon; and you, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. ¹³ And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves on their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the middle of heaven, and hurried not to go down about a whole day.

²³ And what one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for your land, before your people, which you redeemed to you from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

⁵ By frightful things in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation; Who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of those that are afar off upon the sea:

³ Say to God, "How frightening You are in Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

⁵ Come and see the works of God: He is frightful in His doing toward the children of men.

³⁵ O God, you are frightful out of Your holy places: The God of Israel is He that gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God.

¹² He shall cut off the spirit of princes: He is terrible to the kings of the earth.

¹⁴ You are the God that does wonders: You have declared Your strength among the people.

¹² He did marvelous things in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

²² wondrous works in the land of Ham, and frightful things by the Red Sea.

⁶ And men shall speak of the might of Your frightful acts: And I will declare Your greatness.

²⁰ He has not dealt so with any other nation: And as for his judgments, they have not known them. All you praise the LORD.

³ When You did terrible things which we did not look for, You came down, the mountains flowed down at Your presence.

²¹ and have brought forth Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an out stretched arm, and with great terror;
