⁹ And he said, "If now I have found grace in Your sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I implore You, go among us; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Your inheritance."

⁵ Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all people: For all the earth is Mine:

⁹ And the LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people:

³ To a land flowing with milk and honey: For I will not go up in the midst of you; for you are a stiff-necked people: Lest I consume you along the way." ⁴ And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: And no man put his ornaments upon himself. ⁵ For the LORD had said to Moses, "Say to the children of Israel, 'You are a stiff-necked people: I will come up into the midst of you in a moment, and consume you: Now therefore put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what to do to you.' "

¹³ Now therefore, I implore You, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You, that I may find grace in Your sight: And consider that this nation is Your people." ¹⁴ And He said, "My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest." ¹⁵ And he said to Him, "If Your presence does not go with me, do not bring us up from this place. ¹⁶ For in what shall it be known here that I and Your people have found grace in Your sight? Is it not in that You go with us? For this reason we shall be separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth." ¹⁷ And the LORD said to Moses, "I will also do this thing that you have spoken: For you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name."

¹⁹ Pardon, I beseech you, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your mercy, and as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

⁹ For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

¹¹ For Your name's sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity; for it is great.

⁹ Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance: Feed them also, and lift them up forever.

¹² Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

⁶² He also gave His people over to the sword; and was wroth with His inheritance.

¹⁴ For the LORD will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.

⁴ For the LORD has chosen Jacob to Himself, and Israel for His peculiar treasure.

⁴ Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass;

¹⁶ The portion of Jacob is not like them: For He is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance: The LORD of hosts is His name.

¹² And the LORD shall inherit Judah, His portion, in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world." Amen.
