⁶ Sigh therefore, you son of man, with the breaking of your loins; and sigh before their eyes with bitterness.

¹¹ Therefore my heart shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kirharesh.

³ Therefore my loins are filled with pain: Pangs have taken hold of me, as the pangs of a woman that travails: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.

⁴ Therefore I said, "Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, do not labor to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.

¹⁹ My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

¹⁷ Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider all of you, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come: ¹⁸ And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters. ¹⁹ For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, 'How are we spoiled! We are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.' " ²⁰ Yet hear the word of the LORD, O you women, and let your ear receive the word of His mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor a lamentation. ²¹ For death has come up into our windows, and has entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from outside, and the young men from the streets.

¹⁰ Then you shall break the bottle in the sight of the men who go with you,

⁶ Ask now, and see whether a man does travail with child? Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

¹² And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight."

¹¹ Thus says the Lord GOD; "Smite with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, 'Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! For they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

⁴ and the LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and who cry for all the abominations that are done in the midst of it."

³ Therefore, son of man, prepare your stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and you shall remove from your place to another place in their sight: It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house. ⁴ Then you shall bring forth your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: And you shall go forth at evening in their sight, like those who go forth into captivity. ⁵ Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry out through it.

¹² Cry and howl, son of man: For it shall be on My people, it shall be on all the princes of Israel: Terrors by reason of the sword shall be on My people: Therefore smite on your thigh.

²⁰ And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.

⁶ Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosened, and his knees knocked against one another.

²⁷ And I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick for days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astounded at the vision, but none understood it.

¹⁰ She is empty, and void, and wasted: And the heart melts, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.

¹⁶ When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: When he comes up to the people, he will invade them with his troops.

³³ Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, ³⁴ and said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see." ³⁵ Jesus wept.
