²⁵ 'Also, you son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take their strength from them, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,

³² Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in your hand.

² Beautiful for how it is situated, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

² Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.

¹ A Song of degrees of David. ⁴ Do not trust in lying words, saying, 'The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.'

²² Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, I will punish them: The young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
