¹⁹ And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: The same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.

²⁹ And he charged them, and said to them, "I am to be gathered to my people: Bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, ³⁰ in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burial site. ³¹ There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah. ³² The purchase of the field and of the cave that is within it were from the children of Heth."

¹³ For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a burial site possession from Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.

²⁵ And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, "God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from this place."

⁷ Then the dust shall return to the earth as it was: And the spirit shall return to God who gave it.
