²¹ And they stood every man in his place all around the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.

¹³ And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will show to you today: For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall not see them again anymore forever. ¹⁴ The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

²⁵ and took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: So that the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fights against the Egyptians for them."

⁶ For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: And they said one to another, See, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come on us. ⁷ Why they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their donkeys, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

¹⁷ You shall not need to fight in this battle: Set yourselves, stand you still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: Fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: For the LORD will be with you.

²¹ A dreadful sound is in his ears: In prosperity the destroyer shall come on him. ²² He believes not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.

¹ The wicked flee when no man pursues: But the righteous are bold as a lion.

⁷ For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: Therefore I have cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

¹⁵ For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: And you would not."
