¹ Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod: And the angel stood, saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those that worship in it. ² But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it; for it is given to the Gentiles: And they shall tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months. ³ And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." ⁴ These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. ⁵ And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: And if any man will hurt them, he must be killed in this manner. ⁶ These have power to shut heaven, that it does not rain in the days of their prophecy: And have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. ⁷ And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. ⁸ And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. ⁹ And those of the people, tribes, tongues, and nations shall see their dead bodies three and a half days, and shall not let their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰ And those that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another; because these two prophets tormented those that dwelt on the earth. ¹¹ Then after three and a half days the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them. ¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. ¹³ And the same hour there was a strong earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand men were slain: And the remnant were frightened, and gave glory to the God of heaven. ¹⁴ The second woe is past; and behold, the third woe is coming quickly. ¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever." ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshiped God, ¹⁷ saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which is, and was, and is to come; because You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned. ¹⁸ And the nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and those that fear Your name, small and great; and should destroy those which destroy the earth." ¹⁹ Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His testament was seen in His temple: And there were lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and large hail.

¹⁸ And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

¹⁷ I will also lay judgment on the line, and righteousness to the plummet: And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

¹ In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was smitten, on the same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me to that place. ² In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, nearby which was a structure like the frame of a city on the south. ³ And he brought me to that place, and behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. ⁴ And the man said to me, "Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you; because you were brought to this place for the intent that I might show them to you: Declare all that you see to the house of Israel." ⁵ And behold, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man's hand a measuring reed six cubits long by the cubit and a hand breadth: So he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. ⁶ Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its stairs, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed wide; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed wide. ⁷ And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed wide; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the inside gate was one reed. ⁸ He also measured the porch of the inside gate, one reed. ⁹ Then he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and its posts, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward. ¹⁰ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they were three of one measure: And the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. ¹¹ And he measured the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits. ¹² Also, the space before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: And the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. ¹³ He then measured the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: The breadth was twenty-five cubits, from door to door. ¹⁴ He also made sixty cubit high posts, even up to the posts of the court all around the gate.60 Hebrew cubits (of the scriptures) high is approximately 109.5 feet, or 33.4m ¹⁵ And from the face of the gate of the entrance to the face of the porch of the inner gate was fifty cubits. ¹⁶ And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches: And windows were all around facing inward: And upon each post were palm trees. ¹⁷ Then he brought me into the outwardly-facing court, and look, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all around: Thirty chambers were upon the pavement. ¹⁸ And the pavement by the side of the gates which corresponds to the length of the gates was the lower pavement. ¹⁹ Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward. ²⁰ And the gate of the outwardly-facing court that looked toward the north, he measured its length, and its breadth. ²¹ And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²² And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were according to the measurements of the gate that looks toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and its arches were before them. ²³ And the gate of the inner court was in front of the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits. ²⁴ After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: And he measured its posts and its arches according to these measures. ²⁵ And there were windows in it and in its arches all around, like those windows: The length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²⁶ And there were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them: And it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon its posts. ²⁷ And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: And he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits. ²⁸ And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: And he measured the south gate according to these measures; ²⁹ and the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. ³⁰ And the arches all around were twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad. ³¹ And its arches were toward the outermost court; and palm trees were upon its posts: And the stairway going up to it had eight steps. ³² And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: And he measured the gate according to these measures. ³³ And the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, were according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. ³⁴ And its arches were toward the outwardly-facing court; and palm trees were upon its posts, on this side, and on that side: And the stairway going up to it had eight steps. ³⁵ And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures; ³⁶ its little chambers, its posts, and its arches, and the windows to it all around: The length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ³⁷ And its posts were toward the outermost court; and palm trees were upon its posts, on this side, and on that side: And the stairway going up to it had eight steps. ³⁸ And the chambers and its entries were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering. ³⁹ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay upon it the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering. ⁴⁰ And on the side outside, as one goes up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables. ⁴¹ Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices. ⁴² And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half wide, and one cubit high: Upon which they also laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. ⁴³ And inside were hooks, a hand-breadth wide, fastened all around: And upon the tables was the flesh of the offering. ⁴⁴ And outside the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: One at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north. ⁴⁵ And he said to me, "This chamber, whose view is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the ordinances of the house. ⁴⁶ And the chamber whose view is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: These are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near the LORD to minister to Him." ⁴⁷ So he measured the court, a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits wide, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house. ⁴⁸ And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: And the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

¹⁵ Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose view is toward the east, and measured it all around. ¹⁶ He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed all around. ¹⁷ He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed all around. ¹⁸ He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed. ¹⁹ He turned around to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed. ²⁰ He measured it by the four sides: It had a wall all around, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred wide, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

¹ I lifted up my eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. ² Then I said, "Where are you going?" And he said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width, and what is its length."

¹⁶ Do you all not know that you all are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?you all (2X): In KJV, ye (2X); hence both instances of "you all" are plural ¹⁷ If any man defiles the temple of God, God shall destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said: "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

¹⁴ But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world. ¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. ¹⁶ And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be upon them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

²⁰ and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone; ²¹ in whom all the building, being fitly framed together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord: ²² In whom you also are built together as a habitation of God through the Spirit.

⁵ you also, as lively stones, are built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:

¹ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: And a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as if it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: ² And he had a little book open in his hand: And he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, ³ and cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: And when he had cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. ⁴ And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them." ⁵ And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

¹⁵ And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.

³⁴ After the number of the days in which you searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall you bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you shall know my breach of promise.

¹ O God, the heathen have come into your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.

² For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

¹ Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: For from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come into you.

¹⁰ The adversary has spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: For she has seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom You commanded that they should not enter into Your congregation.

¹⁷ Then he brought me into the outwardly-facing court, and look, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all around: Thirty chambers were upon the pavement. ¹⁸ And the pavement by the side of the gates which corresponds to the length of the gates was the lower pavement. ¹⁹ Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward. ²⁰ And the gate of the outwardly-facing court that looked toward the north, he measured its length, and its breadth.

¹⁹ Then I willed to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

²⁵ And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

¹⁰ And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

²⁴ And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: And he shall destroy in a manner that excites wonder, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. ²⁵ And through his policy he shall also cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him that lives forever that "it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he has accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."

¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ¹² Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

⁵ Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple,

¹³ You are the salt of the earth: But if the salt has lost his savor, with what shall it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot by men.

⁵³ and came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many.

²⁴ And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: For that Day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself as though he is God. ⁵ Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? ⁶ And now you know what withholds, that he might be revealed in his time. ⁷ For the mystery of iniquity is already at work: Only He who now holds back will impede, until He be taken out of the way. ⁸ And then that Wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: ⁹ Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in those that perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this reason God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: ¹² That they all might be damned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

¹ Now the Spirit expressly speaks, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ² speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; ³ forbidding to marry; and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

¹ Also know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come. ² For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those who are good, ⁴ traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; ⁵ having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it: From such turn away. ⁶ For of this sort are those that creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diverse lusts,

²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, shall he be thought worthy, who has tread underfoot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has extreme malice toward the Spirit of grace?

³ And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

¹¹ Then after three and a half days the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them.

⁶ Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

¹ Then I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. ² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. ³ And I saw one of his heads, how it was wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: And all the world wondered after the beast. ⁴ And they worshiped the dragon which gave power to the beast: And they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" ⁵ And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to continue for forty-two months. ⁶ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven. ⁷ And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: And power was given to him over all tribes, and tongues, and nations. ⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. ⁹ If any man has an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: He that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. ¹¹ Then I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. ¹² And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, ¹⁴ and deceives those that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and lived. ¹⁵ And he had power to give life to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond-servants, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: For it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred and sixty-six.

² And I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

¹⁹ And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

³⁴ And Jacob tore his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

²⁶ But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: And the spirit rested on them; and they were of those that were written, but went not out to the tabernacle: And they prophesied in the camp.

⁶ At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

¹⁵ One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins: At the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

¹⁶ And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand outstretched over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.

¹ When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai tore his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry; ² and even came before the king's gate: For none might enter into the king's gate clothed with sackcloth.

¹⁵ I have sewed sackcloth on my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.

¹² And in that day the Lord GOD of hosts did call for weeping, and for mourning, and for baldness, and for girding with sackcloth:

¹⁰ The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: They have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: The virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

¹⁶ But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.'

⁴⁸ And you are witnesses of these things.

⁵ Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Do not marvel that I said to you, 'All of you must be born again.'All of you: In KJV, Ye; hence "All of you" signifies a plural "you" ⁸ The wind blows where it is inclined, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell from what place it comes, and to what place it goes: So is everyone that is born of the Spirit."

²⁷ John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing, unless it is given to him from heaven.

²⁷ And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning."

⁸ But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit will come upon you: And you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth."

³² This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

¹⁵ and killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.

³¹ And He was seen for many days by those that came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.

²⁸ And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

¹ This is the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established."

¹¹ And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers;

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful Witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

⁵ And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to continue for forty-two months.

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it: I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: Worship God: For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them: And I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

²² And in that day I will sever the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; with the intent you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

⁸ At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister to Him, and to bless in His name, to this day.

¹ And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

⁸ But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.

⁵ For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; He shall be called the God of the whole earth.

¹⁶ The LORD called your name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: With the noise of a great tumult He has kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

¹³ "Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: For I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: And you shall beat in pieces many people: And I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth."

² And said to me, "What do you see?" And I said, "I have looked, and behold a candlestick of all gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top of it: ³ And two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side of it."

¹¹ Then I answered, and said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right side of the candlestick and on the left side of it?" ¹² And I answered again, and said to him, "What are these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?" ¹³ And he answered me and said, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord." ¹⁴ Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth."

¹⁴ You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. ¹⁵ Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel basket, but on a candlestick; and it gives light to all who are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

³³ No man, when he has lit a candle, puts it in a secret place, nor under a basket, but on a candlestick, that those who come in may see the light.

¹⁷ And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: And the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.

²⁸ And Moses said, "Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of my own mind. ²⁹ If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD has not sent me. ³⁰ But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain to them, and they go down quick into the pit; then you shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. ³¹ And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground split asunder that was under them: ³² And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained to Korah, and all their goods. ³³ They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed on them: And they perished from among the congregation. ³⁴ And all Israel that were all around them fled at the cry of them: For they said, "Lest the earth swallow us up also. ³⁵ And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

¹⁰ And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume you and your fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. ¹¹ Again also he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said to him, "O man of God, thus has the king said, "Come down quickly. ¹² And Elijah answered and said to them, "If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume you and your fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

⁸ There went up a smoke out of His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth devoured: Coals were kindled by it.

⁴ But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: And he shall smite the earth: With the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

¹⁰ See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant."

¹⁴ Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, "Because you speak this word, behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

³ And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: And the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

⁵ Therefore I have hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth: And your judgments are as the light that goes forth.

⁶ But My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? And they returned and said, 'As the LORD of hosts thought to do to us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, in this manner He has dealt with us.' "

⁸ For thus says the LORD of hosts; "After the glory, He has sent me to the nations which plundered you: For he that touches you touches the apple of His eye.

⁴ Then he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?" ⁵ And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" And the Lord said, "I am Jesus whom you persecute: It is hard for you to kick against the prods."

¹⁷ Thus says the LORD, "In this you shall know that I am the LORD: Behold, I will smite with the rod that is in My hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. ¹⁸ And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river." ' " ¹⁹ And the LORD spoke to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Take your rod, and stretch out your hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.' " ²⁰ And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. ²¹ And the fish that were in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. ²² And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken to them; as the LORD had said. ²³ And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he apply his heart to consider this also. ²⁴ And all the Egyptians dug all around the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river. ²⁵ And seven days were fulfilled, after the LORD had smitten the river.

⁸ Woe to us! Who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? These are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

²⁶ He sent Moses His servant; and Aaron whom He had chosen. ²⁷ They showed His signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham. ²⁸ He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they did not rebel against His word. ²⁹ He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish. ³⁰ Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings. ³¹ He spoke, and there came diverse sorts of flies, and lice in all their borders. ³² He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land. ³³ He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and broke the trees of their borders. ³⁴ He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number, ³⁵ and they ate up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground. ³⁶ He also smote all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

¹ Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, ² "Also you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel; 'An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land. ³ Now the end has come on you, and I will send My anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all your abominations. ⁴ And My eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: But I will recompense your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: And you shall know that I am the LORD.' ⁵ Thus says the Lord GOD; 'Behold, an evil, a one of a kind evil, has come. ⁶ An end has come, the end has come: It watches for you; behold, it has come. ⁷ The morning has come to you, O you who dwell in the land: The time has come, the day of trouble is near, and not the joyful sounds of the mountains again. ⁸ Shortly now I will pour out My fury on you, and accomplish My anger upon you: And I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all your abominations. ⁹ And My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and your abominations that are in the midst of you; and you shall know that I am the LORD who smites. ¹⁰ Behold the day, behold, it has come: The morning has gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded. ¹¹ Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness: None of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor any of their abundance: Neither shall there be wailing for them. ¹² The time has come, the day draws near: Let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: For wrath is upon all their multitude.

²⁵ But I tell you in truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

¹⁶ Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. ¹⁷ Elijah was a man subject to similar passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: And it did not rain on the earth for a period of three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

²¹ I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; ²² until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

²³ And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. ²⁴ And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: And he shall destroy in a manner that excites wonder, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

² "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses pillaged, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city." ³ Then the LORD shall go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. ⁴ And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall split in the middle of it toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south. ⁵ "And you all shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal: Yes, you all shall flee, like you all fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah": And the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with You. ⁶ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: ⁷ But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: But it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. ⁸ And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: In summer and in winter it shall be.former; or, eastern ⁹ And the LORD shall be King over all the earth: In that day there shall be one LORD, and His name one. ¹⁰ All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: And it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses. ¹¹ And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. ¹² And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. ¹³ And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold, everyone, on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor. ¹⁴ And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen compassed around shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. ¹⁵ And likewise shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the donkey, and of all the beasts that shall be in these camps, even as this plague. ¹⁶ And it shall come to pass, that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁷ And it shall be, that whoever will not come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, upon them shall even be no rain. ¹⁸ And if the family of Egypt does not go up, and does not come, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, with which the LORD will smite the heathen that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.that have no rain: In Hebrew, upon whom there is not rain ¹⁹ This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ²⁰ In that day there shall be upon the bells of the horses, "HOLINESS TO THE LORD"; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. ²¹ Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness to the LORD of hosts: And all those that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and boil in them: And in that day there shall no longer be the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.

³² And He said to them, "You go, and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.'

⁴ I have glorified You on the earth: I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.

³⁰ When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, "It is finished": Then He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.

²⁴ But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

⁸ And then that Wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: ⁹ Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

⁷ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

¹ Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: And to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. ² And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a large furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.

¹ Then I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. ² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. ³ And I saw one of his heads, how it was wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: And all the world wondered after the beast. ⁴ And they worshiped the dragon which gave power to the beast: And they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"

⁷ And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: And power was given to him over all tribes, and tongues, and nations.

¹¹ Then I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

¹⁶ And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond-servants, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. ⁷ And the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns. ⁸ The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: And those that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

¹³ But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD, exceedingly so.

²⁴ Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

¹³ And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor: ¹⁴ And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: All their service, in which they made them serve, was with rigor.

⁷ And the LORD said, "I have surely seen the affliction of My people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

² "I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

⁴³ How he had worked His signs in Egypt, and His wonders in the field of Zoan: ⁴⁴ And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink. ⁴⁵ He sent diverse sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them. ⁴⁶ He also gave their increase to the caterpillar, and their labor to the locust. ⁴⁷ He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost. ⁴⁸ He also gave up their domestic beasts to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts. ⁴⁹ He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them. ⁵⁰ He made a way for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence; ⁵¹ and smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

² They have given the dead bodies of Your servants to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of your saints to the wild beasts of the earth. ³ They have shed their blood like water all around Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

⁹ Except the LORD of hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like Gomorrah. ¹⁰ Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.

⁹ The show of their countenance does witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have rewarded evil to themselves.

¹⁴ I have also seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: They commit adultery and walk in lies: They also strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness; they are, all of them, as Sodom to Me, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

²³ And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him to Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.

⁵³ When I shall bring their captivity again, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then I will bring back the captivity of your captives in the midst of them: ⁵⁴ That you may bear your own shame, and may be confounded in all that you have done, in that you are a comfort to them. ⁵⁵ When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then you and your daughters shall return to your former estate.

³ And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: Their breasts were pressed there, and they bruised the teats of their virginity there.

⁸ Neither did she leave her whoredoms brought from Egypt: For in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

¹⁹ Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, in which she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

²⁷ Thus I will make your lewdness to cease from you, and your whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: So that you shall not lift up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.' "

¹¹ Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: Behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: We are cut off for our parts.

¹¹ "I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: Yet you have not returned to Me", says the LORD.

¹⁵ Truly I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

³³ Nevertheless I must walk today, tomorrow, and the day following: For it cannot be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem. ³⁴ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to you; how often I would have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

⁴ Then he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?"

⁶ if they shall fall away, to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.

¹² Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

⁶ and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example to those that afterward would live ungodly;

⁷ Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities all around them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

⁹ And those of the people, tribes, tongues, and nations shall see their dead bodies three and a half days, and shall not let their dead bodies to be put in graves.

¹³ And the same hour there was a strong earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand men were slain: And the remnant were frightened, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

⁸ And there followed another angel, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."

¹⁹ And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: And great Babylon came up in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

¹ And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying to me, "Come here; I will show you the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters:

⁵ And upon her forehead a name was written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

² And he cried out mightily with a strong voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become the habitation of devils, and the prison-hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

¹⁰ standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.'

¹⁸ and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, 'What city is like this great city!'

²¹ And a mighty angel took up a stone like a large millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

²⁴ And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."

³ If a man beget a hundred children, and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, and his soul is not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, "that an untimely birth is better than he.

¹ Woe to you who plunder, and you were not plundered; and deal treacherously, and they did not deal treacherously with you! When you cease to plunder, you shall be plundered; and when you make an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with you.

³³ And the carcasses of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the wild beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

² For with the judgment you judge, you shall be judged: And with what measure you use to measure, it shall be measured to you again.

⁸ And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, every one of them having harps, and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of saints.

¹¹ And he said to me, "You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

² But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it; for it is given to the Gentiles: And they shall tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months. ³ And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

¹⁵ And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; ¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of those that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great."

²³ Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice: For they said, "Our god has delivered our enemy Samson into our hand." ²⁴ And when the people saw him, they praised their god: For they said, "Our god has delivered our enemy into our hands, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us."

¹⁷ And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, "Are you he that troubles Israel?

²⁰ And Ahab said to Elijah, "Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you: Because you have sold yourself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.

⁸ And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD: But I hate him; for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, "Let not the king say so.

¹⁸ And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "Did I not tell you that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

¹⁰ Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared: For this day is holy to our LORD: Neither be you sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. ¹¹ So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, "Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be you grieved. ¹² And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared to them.

¹⁹ Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelled in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions to one another. ²⁰ And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters to all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both near and far, ²¹ to establish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly, ²² as the days in which the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which for them was turned from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: That they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions to one another, and gifts to the poor.

⁴ lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him"; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

¹⁹ Do not let those that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: Neither let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.

²⁴ Judge me, O LORD my God, according to Your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. ²⁵ Let them not say in their hearts, "Ah, so we have our desire": Do not let them say, "We have swallowed him up." ²⁶ Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together who rejoice at my hurt: Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.

⁴² You have set up the right hand of his adversaries; You have made all his enemies rejoice.

¹⁷ Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles:

⁴ Therefore the princes said to the king, "We beseech you, let this man be put to death: For thus he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words to them: For this man seeks not the welfare of this people, but the hurt."

¹¹ "Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, O you destroyers of My heritage, because you have grown fat like a heifer in the grass, and bellow like bulls;

¹² But you should not have looked on the day of your brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither should you have spoken proudly in the day of distress.spoken proudly: In Hebrew, magnified your mouth

⁸ Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light to me.

²² And you shall be hated by all people for My name's sake: But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

⁷ The world cannot hate you; but it hates Me, because I testify of it, that the works of the world are evil.

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, That you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: And you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

³³ When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

⁵⁴ When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed upon him with their teeth. ⁵⁵ But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, ⁵⁶ and said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God." ⁵⁷ Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

⁵ But the Jews which did not believe, moved with envy, took certain lewd fellows of the vile sort, and gathered a company, set all the city in an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. ⁶ But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and certain brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, "These that have turned the world upside down have come here also;

⁶ does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

¹⁰ Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to prove by testing those that dwell upon the earth.

⁵ And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: And if any man will hurt them, he must be killed in this manner. ⁶ These have power to shut heaven, that it does not rain in the days of their prophecy: And have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

¹³ Then when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man Child.

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

¹⁴ and deceives those that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and lived.

¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues out of pain,

⁷ And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

⁹ and she said to the men, I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that your terror is fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

⁹ And it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them: And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure to it.'

⁵ Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones; "Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live: ⁶ And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the LORD." ' " ⁷ So I prophesied as I was commanded: And as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. ⁸ And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them above: But there was no breath in them. ⁹ Then He said to me, "Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, 'Thus says the Lord GOD; "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live." ' " ¹⁰ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceeding great army. ¹¹ Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: Behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: We are cut off for our parts. ¹² Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD; "Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. ¹³ And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up out of your graves, ¹⁴ and shall put My spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: Then you shall know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it", said the LORD.' "

⁵ Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.

⁵ Now Ananias, hearing these words, fell down, and gave up the ghost: Therefore great fear came on all those that heard these things.

¹¹ Therefore great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also vivify your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you.

²⁵ and took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: So that the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fights against the Egyptians for them."

¹ And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

⁵ And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said to him, "Do you know that the LORD will take away your master from your head today? And he answered, Yes, I know it; hold you your peace.

⁷ And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: And they two stood by Jordan.

¹¹ And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

¹ A Psalm of David. Lord, who shall abide in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Your holy hill?

³ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His holy place?

¹⁷ Show me a token for good; that those who hate me may see it, and be ashamed: Because You, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.

¹³ For you have said in your heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in uttermost sides of the north:

³¹ But those who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

⁸ Who are these that fly like a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

¹⁸ Then you all shall return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that does not serve Him.

²³ And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

⁹ And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

³⁴ Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, now rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, "For Your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." ³⁷ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

⁵ even when we were dead in sins, has vivified us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved); ⁶ and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: And so shall we be with the Lord evermore.

²¹ To him that overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne."

¹ After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: And the first voice which I heard was as if a trumpet was talking with me; which said, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must be in time to come."

⁵ And she brought forth a man Child, Who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: And her Child was caught up to God, and to His throne.

⁴ There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

¹⁹ And Joshua said to Achan, "My son, give, I implore you, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession to him; and tell me now what you have done; hide it not from me.

⁵ For this reason you shall make images of your hemorrhoids, and images of your mice that mar the land; and you shall give glory to the God of Israel: Perhaps He will lighten His hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

¹⁵ You have increased the nation, O LORD, You have increased the nation: You are glorified: You had removed it far to all the ends of the earth. ¹⁶ LORD, in trouble they have visited You, they poured out a prayer when Your chastening was on them.

¹⁶ Give glory to the LORD your God, before He causes darkness, and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains, and, while you look for light, He turns it into the shadow of death, and makes it gross darkness.

² If you all will not hear, and if you all will not lay it to heart, to give glory to My name", says the LORD of hosts, "I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: Yes, I have cursed them already, because you all do not lay it to heart.

¹⁵ And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names all together were about a hundred and twenty),

⁴ You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: For they are worthy.

¹² And I beheld when He opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

⁵ And the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth: And there were voices, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

⁹ and a third of the creatures in the sea which had life died; and a third of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ Then the third angel sounded, and a large star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; ¹¹ and the name of the star is called Wormwood: And a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. ¹² Then the fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them were darkened, and the day did not shine for a third of it, and likewise the night.

¹⁹ Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His testament was seen in His temple: And there were lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and large hail.

¹ Then I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. ² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. ³ And I saw one of his heads, how it was wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: And all the world wondered after the beast.

⁷ saying with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment has come: And worship Him that made heaven, and earth, the sea, and fountains of waters."

⁴ Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For only You are holy: For all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your judgments are made manifest."

⁹ And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which has power over these plagues: And they did not repent to give Him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues out of pain, ¹¹ and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

¹⁸ And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a large earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. ¹⁹ And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: And great Babylon came up in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."

¹³ And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth because of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!"

¹² One woe is past; and behold, there come two more woes after this.

¹ Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them the wrath of God is finished.

¹ And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth." ² Then the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and a noxious and grievous sore fell upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshiped his image. ³ And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: And every living soul in the sea died. ⁴ And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. ⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, O Lord, which is, and was, and shall be, because You have judged thus. ⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy of such." ⁷ And I heard another out of the altar say, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments." ⁸ And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. ⁹ And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which has power over these plagues: And they did not repent to give Him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues out of pain, ¹¹ and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. ¹² And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water of it was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. ¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. ¹⁴ For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. ¹⁵ "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." ¹⁶ And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. ¹⁷ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and a great voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done." ¹⁸ And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a large earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. ¹⁹ And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: And great Babylon came up in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. ²⁰ Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. ²¹ And there fell upon men a large hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague of this was exceedingly great.1 attic talent weighed 56 pounds 11 ounces English troy weight, or ~25.7 kilograms.

¹⁸ The LORD shall reign forever and ever.

² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying,

²⁷ All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD: And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before You. ²⁸ For the kingdom is the LORD's: And He is the governor among the nations.

¹¹ Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him: All nations shall serve Him.

⁹ All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O LORD; and shall glorify Your name.

¹⁵ Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound; they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. ¹⁶ In Your name they shall rejoice all the day long; and in Your righteousness they shall be exalted, ¹⁷ for You are the glory of their strength: And in Your favor our horn shall be exalted.

⁴ The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, "You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek."

¹⁰ The LORD shall reign forever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. All you praise the LORD.

² And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. ³ And many people shall go and say, "Come all of you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths": For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

⁷ Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

¹³ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

²³ Sing, O you heavens; for the LORD has done it: Shout, you lower parts of the earth: Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it: For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and glorified Himself in Israel.

⁶ And He said, 'It is a light thing that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give You for a light to the Gentiles, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth.' " ⁷ Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and His Holy One, to Him whom man despises, to Him whom the nation abhors, to a Servant of rulers, "Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose You."

²² Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will lift up My hand to the Gentiles, and set up My standard to the people: And they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders. ²³ And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: They shall bow down to you with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD: For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me."

⁵ Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know, and nations that did not know you shall run to you because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you."

³ And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. ⁴ Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather themselves together, they come to you: Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. ⁵ Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted to you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come to you. ⁶ The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come: They shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD. ⁷ All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you: They shall come up on My altar with acceptance, and I will glorify the house of My glory. ⁸ Who are these that fly like a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? ⁹ Surely the isles shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish will come first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you. ¹⁰ "And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you: For in My wrath I smote you, but in My favor I have had mercy on you. ¹¹ Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring to you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. ¹² For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly ruined. ¹³ The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious. ¹⁴ Also the sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹ O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, "Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things in which there is no profit."

²⁵ And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers have dwelled; and they shall dwell in it, even they and their children, and their children's children forever: And My servant David shall be their prince forever.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. ⁴⁵ In as much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass in time to come: And the dream is certain, and the interpretation of it sure."

¹⁴ And there was dominion, and glory, and a kingdom given to Him, that all people, nations, and languages should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

¹⁸ But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.'

²² until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

²⁷ And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, Whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

²³ And I will sow her to Me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to those which were not My people, 'You are My people'; and they shall say, 'You are My God.' "

¹¹ In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that has fallen, and close up its breaches; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: ¹² That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by My name", says the LORD that does this.

¹ But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it. ² And many nations shall come, and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths": For the law shall go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

⁷ and I will make her that limped a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: And the LORD shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forever.

⁹ For then I will turn the people to a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent. ¹⁰ From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My humble petitioners, even the daughter of My dispersed, shall bring My offering.

¹¹ "And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be My people: And I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

²⁰ Thus says the LORD of hosts; 'It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: ²¹ And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, "Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also." ²² Yes, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.' ²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts; 'In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, "We will go with you: For we have heard that God is with you."

⁹ And the LORD shall be King over all the earth: In that day there shall be one LORD, and His name one.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun even to the going down of the same, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered to My name, and a pure offering: For My name shall be great among the heathen", says the LORD of hosts.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.'

³³ And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end."

⁶ And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.'

¹⁰ Likewise, I say to you, There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

⁸ But to the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

² And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. ³ Then another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. ⁵ And the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth: And there were voices, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. ⁶ And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

¹² Then the fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them were darkened, and the day did not shine for a third of it, and likewise the night.

¹ Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: And to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

¹³ Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

⁷ But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He has declared to His servants the prophets.

¹⁰ Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come: For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

¹⁷ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and a great voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done."

¹⁴ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: For He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: And those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful."

¹ And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, to the Lord our God:

⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a large multitude, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia: For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns.

⁴ And all around the throne were twenty-four seats: And upon the seats I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

¹⁰ the twenty-four elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

⁵ Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep: Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals." ⁶ And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. ⁷ Then He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne. ⁸ And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, every one of them having harps, and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of saints.

¹⁴ And the four beasts said, "Amen." And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him that lives forever and ever.

¹¹ And all the angels stood all around the throne, and around the elders and the four beasts, and fell on their faces before the throne, and worshiped God,

⁴ And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying, "Amen; Alleluia."

¹ And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am the Almighty God; walk before Me, and be perfect.

¹³ Be exalted, LORD, in Your own strength: In this manner we will sing and praise Your power.

¹¹ Be exalted, O God, above the heavens: Let Your glory be above all the earth.

⁹ And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of His doing. ¹⁰ The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

¹ A Psalm. O sing to the LORD a new song; for He has done marvelous things: His right hand and His holy arm, have gotten Him the victory. ² The LORD has made known His salvation: He has openly shown His righteousness in the sight of the heathen. ³ He has remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹³ You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: For the time to favor her, yes, the set time has come, ¹⁴ for Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and favor her dust. ¹⁵ So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. ¹⁶ When the LORD shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory. ¹⁷ He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. ¹⁸ This shall be written for the generation to come: And the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

⁹ Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Was it not You who cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? ¹⁰ Are You not the One who has dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; who has made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? ¹¹ Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: They shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

¹⁰ The LORD has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

²³ I thank You, and praise You, O God of my fathers, Who has given me wisdom and might, and now has made known to me what we desired of You: For You have now made known to us the king's matter."

¹⁰ Now when Daniel knew the writing document was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

²⁵ At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.

²¹ In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, "I thank You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes: Even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Your sight."

⁴¹ Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of His knowledge through us in every place.

¹⁵ Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift.

¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

⁴ John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne;

⁸ "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending", says the Lord, "which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

⁸ And each of the four beasts had six wings around him; and they were full of eyes within: And they did not rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Which was, and is, and is to come." ⁹ And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sat on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever."

³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Your ways, You King of saints.

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, O Lord, which is, and was, and shall be, because You have judged thus.

⁷ And I heard another out of the altar say, "Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."

¹⁴ For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

¹ Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? ² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, ³ "Let us break their bands apart, and cast away their cords from us."

⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.

⁹ Surely His salvation is near to those that fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.

¹¹ For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.

⁵ The LORD at Your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.

¹³ He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. ¹⁴ The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

¹¹ The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy.

¹² Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet I know surely that it shall be well with those who fear God, which fear before Him:

¹³ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: For this is the whole duty of man.

¹⁹ Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust: For your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. ²⁰ Come, My people, enter into your chambers, and shut your doors behind you: Hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation pass over. ²¹ For, behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: The earth also shall disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.

¹ Come near to hear, you nations; and listen, you people: Let the earth hear, and all that is in it; the world, and all things that come forth of it. ² For the indignation of the LORD is on all nations, and His fury on all their armies: He has utterly destroyed them, He has delivered them to the slaughter. ³ Their slain shall also be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcasses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. ⁴ And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and heaven shall be rolled together as a scroll: And all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. ⁵ For My sword shall be bathed in heaven: Behold, it shall come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse, for judgment. ⁶ The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. ⁷ And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bulls with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. ⁸ For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion. ⁹ And the streams of it shall be turned into pitch, and the dust of it into brimstone, and the land of it shall become burning pitch. ¹⁰ It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke of it shall go up forever: From generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it forever and ever.

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This one who is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? "I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save." ² Why are you red in your apparel, and your garments like him who treads in the winefat? ³ "I have trodden the winepress alone; and from the people there was no one with me: For I will tread them in My anger, and trample them in My fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled on My garments, and I will stain all My clothing. ⁴ For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. ⁵ And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold: Therefore My own arm brought salvation to Me; and My fury, it upheld Me. ⁶ And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

⁹ You shall ascend and come like a storm, you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you, and all your bands, and many people with you." ¹⁰ Thus says the Lord GOD; "It shall also come to pass, that at the same time things shall come into your mind, and you shall think an evil thought: ¹¹ And you shall say, 'I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to those that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, ¹² to take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn your hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten domestic beasts and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.' ¹³ Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, shall say to you, Have you come to take a spoil? Have you gathered your company to take a prey? To carry away silver and gold, to take away domestic beasts and goods, to take a great spoil?' " ' ¹⁴ Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, 'Thus says the Lord GOD; "In that day when My people of Israel dwell safely, shall you not know it? ¹⁵ And you shall come from your place out of the north parts, you, and many people with you, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: ¹⁶ And you shall come up against My people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you back against My land, that the heathen may know Me, when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes." ¹⁷ Thus says the Lord GOD; "Are you he of whom I have spoken in old times by My servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days that many years from then I would bring you back against them? ¹⁸ And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel", said the Lord GOD, "that My fury shall come up in My face. ¹⁹ For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken, 'Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; ²⁰ so that the fish of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the wild beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at My presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.' ²¹ And I will call for a sword against him throughout all My mountains", says the Lord GOD: "Every man's sword shall be against his brother. ²² And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. ²³ Thus I will magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD." ' "

⁹ I beheld until the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days sat, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. ¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came out from before Him: Thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

²⁶ But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.

²⁵ And through his policy he shall also cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

⁴⁴ But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: Therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and to utterly slay.

⁹ Proclaim this among the Gentiles; "Prepare war", wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: ¹⁰ Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears: Let the weak say, "I am strong." ¹¹ Assemble yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves together all around: Cause Your mighty ones to come down to that place, O LORD. ¹² Let the heathen be awakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: For there I will sit to judge all the heathen compassed around. ¹³ Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: Come, get down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. ¹⁴ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

¹⁵ "According to the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt, I will show him marvelous things." ¹⁶ The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: They shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. ¹⁷ They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: They shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of You.

² "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses pillaged, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city." ³ Then the LORD shall go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.

¹² Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: For great is your reward in heaven: For in like manner they persecuted the prophets which were before you.

⁵⁰ And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.

⁵ Which are a clearly apparent token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer: ⁶ Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to those that trouble you; ⁷ and to you who are troubled, rest with us; when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,

²⁷ And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:

²⁵ choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; ²⁶ esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: For he had respect for the recompense of the reward.

¹⁰ And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You not judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell on the earth?" ¹¹ And white robes were given to every one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest for yet a little season, until their fellow-servants and their brethren, that shall also be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶ and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of His wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?"

⁹ And those of the people, tribes, tongues, and nations shall see their dead bodies three and a half days, and shall not let their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰ And those that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another; because these two prophets tormented those that dwelt on the earth.

¹⁰ He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: He that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

¹⁰ the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

⁷ Then one of the four beasts gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.

¹² "And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. ¹³ These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength to the beast. ¹⁴ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: For He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: And those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful." ¹⁵ And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

⁶ Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double to her two-fold more according to her works: With the cup which she has filled, pour out to her double.

¹⁶ and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! ¹⁷ For in one hour so many riches have come to naught.' And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, ¹⁸ and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, 'What city is like this great city!' ¹⁹ And they cast dust on their heads, and cried out, weeping and wailing, saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea were made rich because of her costliness! For in one hour she is made desolate. ²⁰ Rejoice over her, you heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her." ²¹ And a mighty angel took up a stone like a large millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. ²² And the voice of harpists, musicians, pipers, and trumpeters shall not be heard any more at all in you; and no craftsman, of whatever craft he is, shall be found anymore in you; and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard any more at all in you; ²³ and the light of a candle shall not shine any more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall not be heard any more at all in you: For your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries all nations were deceived. ²⁴ And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."

⁵ Then a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants, and you that fear Him, both small and great."

¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: And He shall rule them with a rod of iron: And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them: And I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. ⁵ But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

¹⁵ And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

¹² "And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with Me, to give every man according to as his work shall be.

¹⁸ Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since its foundation even until now. ¹⁹ Therefore send forth now, and gather your domestic beasts, and all that you have in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die." ' " ²⁰ He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his domestic beasts flee into the houses: ²¹ And he that did not regard the word of the LORD left his servants and his domestic beasts in the field. ²² And the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch forth your hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt." ²³ And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: And the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. ²⁴ So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such that there has been none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. ²⁵ And the hail smote all that was in the field throughout all the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field. ²⁶ Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. ²⁷ And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, "I have sinned this time: The LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. ²⁸ Entreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer." ²⁹ And Moses said to him, "As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know how that the earth is the LORD's.

²¹ And you shall put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. ²² And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

⁵ And when the camp sets forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering veil, and cover the ark of testimony with it:

¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: But they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

³³ And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: And the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.

¹¹ And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven on them to Azekah, and they died: They were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

²² Have you entered into the treasures of the snow? Or have you seen the treasures of the hail, ²³ which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

¹² At the brightness that was before Him, His thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

³² He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

¹ In the year that king Uzziah died I also saw the LORD sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and robe train filled the temple. ² Above it stood the seraphim: Each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. ³ And one cried out to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: The whole earth is full of his glory." ⁴ And the posts of the door moved at the voice of Him who cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

² Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

³⁰ And the LORD shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

¹⁹ when it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

¹¹ Say to those who daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: There shall be an overflowing shower; and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

²² And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

¹⁴ But their minds were blinded: For till this day remains the same veil not taken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which veil is done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But even to this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. ¹⁶ Nevertheless, when their heart shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

⁴ which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on every side with gold, within which was the golden pot that had manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; ⁵ and over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy-seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. ⁶ Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests always went into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. ⁷ But into the second the high priest alone went once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: ⁸ The Holy Spirit signifying this, that the way into the Holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while the first tabernacle was still standing:

⁵ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices: And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

⁷ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: And a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle, and reap: For the time has come for You to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe." ¹⁶ Then He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. ¹⁷ Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

⁵ And after that I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: ⁶ And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their chests girded with golden girdles. ⁷ Then one of the four beasts gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. ⁸ And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

¹⁸ And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a large earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

²¹ And there fell upon men a large hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague of this was exceedingly great.1 attic talent weighed 56 pounds 11 ounces English troy weight, or ~25.7 kilograms.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
