⁴ And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

¹⁷ Thus says the LORD, "In this you shall know that I am the LORD: Behold, I will smite with the rod that is in My hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. ¹⁸ And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river." ' " ¹⁹ And the LORD spoke to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Take your rod, and stretch out your hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.' " ²⁰ And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

⁵ And the LORD spoke to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Stretch forth your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.' "

² Why, when I came, was there no man? When I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: Their fish stinks, because there is no water, and die for thirst.

⁸ And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: In your hills, and in your valleys, and in all your rivers, those who are slain with the sword shall fall.

¹⁵ Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: He shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

¹⁰ Then the third angel sounded, and a large star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; ¹¹ and the name of the star is called Wormwood: And a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

⁷ saying with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment has come: And worship Him that made heaven, and earth, the sea, and fountains of waters."

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, O Lord, which is, and was, and shall be, because You have judged thus.
