²⁴ Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: He shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

⁹ He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: Who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesses you, and cursed is he that curses you.

⁴⁹ The LORD shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand;

¹⁰ As for the likeness of their faces, they each had the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side: And all four had the face of an ox on the left side; the four also had the face of an eagle.

¹⁴ And every one had four faces: The first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

²¹ Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

⁴ The first was a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

⁴ Though you exalt yourself as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, I will bring you down from there", says the LORD.

⁹ For it is written in the law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treads out the grain kernels." Does God take care in favor of oxen? ¹⁰ Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: That he that plows should plow in hope; and he that threshes in hope should be a partaker of his hope.

²⁰ Brethren, do not be children in understanding: Yet in malice be children, but in understanding be men.

⁶ And before the throne there was a sea of glass like crystal: And in the midst of the throne, and all around the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
