²⁰ And the LORD showed me four carpenters.

²⁵ Your shoes shall be iron and brass; and as your days, so shall your strength be.

¹⁶ But when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness to the Red sea, and came to Kadesh;

¹⁸ Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: For Arnon was the border of Moab.

¹¹ And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and you dwelled safely.

²⁷ Therefore you delivered them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: And in the time of their trouble, when they cried out to you, you heard them from heaven; and according to your manifold mercies you gave them saviors, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.

¹⁵ Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by Me: Whoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake. ¹⁶ Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. ¹⁷ No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me", said the LORD.

²¹ And saviors shall come up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

⁵ And this Man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: And when he shall tread in our palaces, then we shall raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.principal: In Hebrew, princes of ⁶ And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in its entranceways: Thus He shall deliver us from the Assyrian, when he comes into our land, and when he treads within our borders.

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the wild beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: Who, if he goes through, both treads down, and tears in pieces, and none can deliver. ⁹ Your hand shall be lifted up upon your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.

¹² Turn to the stronghold, all you prisoners of hope: Even today I do declare that I will render double to you; ¹³ when I have bent Judah for Me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you as the sword of a mighty man." ¹⁴ And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: And the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. ¹⁵ The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. ¹⁶ And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people: For they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon His land.

³ "My anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: For the LORD of hosts has visited His flock, the house of Judah, and has made them as His goodly horse in the battle. ⁴ Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. ⁵ And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: And they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

² "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the people compassed around, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. ³ And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: All that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. ⁴ In that day", says the LORD, "I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: And I will open My eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. ⁵ And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.' ⁶ In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people compassed around, on the right hand and on the left: And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
