³³ and set bread before them to eat. But the man said I cannot eat till I have told my business. And Laban said, speak.

¹² nor transgress in my bosom: indeed I have hid his words.

³ "I will not enter the lodging of my house, nor go up to my bed of rest; ⁴ nor give sleep to mine eyes or slumber to mine eyelids; ⁵ nor rest to my temples; until I find a place for the Lord; a habitation for the God of Jacob."

²⁹ A man clear in his perceptions and quick in the despatch of business should stand before kings and not wait on slothful men.

¹⁰ Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might; since there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge nor wisdom in the mansion of the dead to which thou must go.

¹⁴ but whosoever shall drink of the water which I will give him, will never thirst. But the water which I will give him, will be in him a fountain of water springing up for an everlasting life.

³¹ Now in the mean while his disciples entreated him, saying, Rabbi, eat. ³² But he said to them; I have meat to eat which you do not know. ³³ His disciples therefore said to one another, Hath any one brought him food? ³⁴ Jesus saith to them, It is my food to do the will of him who sent me, and to finish his work.

⁵ Servants, obey them who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your hearts, as you do the Christ ⁶ not with eye-service as men pleasers, but as servants of the Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, ⁷ performing service with good will, as to the Lord and not to men; ⁸ knowing that whatever good any one doth, the Lord will reward him for it, whether he be a bondman or freeman.

² And let not those who have believing masters disregard them because they are brethren, but serve them the more, because they who receive the good service are believers, and beloved. Teach these things, and enforce them by exhortation.
